This party is calling several times a day and as early as 7:50 a.m. on Sunday morning. I finally answered this morning and no one responded. Certainly, someone out there knows who is doing this and can stop it.

I have gotten this number several times as well. Last time was 11/23/09. The name that pops up is Quakertown, PA. No one ever responds, the line is open but soon disconnects..?????

Several calls from (215) 892-1417, and no one responds when I answer.  Please help me stop this caller!

omg !  i been getting the same calls, and when i answer they hang up when you try to call the number back a busy tone comes on ! who the hell is this person, seriously need to stop that

About 12:40 PM someone called for 215-892-1417 asking my mother about a Con Ed bill. They claimed they could offer a steep discount and asked my mother to call 1-866-513-1668.

that is what i got and i called back and the numer does not exist.  who do you call to find out what we can do about this?

This phone number calls my house. After a few seconds, it makes a beep sound and says "Good- Bye".

This number calls at all hours. Answered a few times today and told them to stop calling. They called again at 3pm and I told them they are harrassing me with their calls. The caller got nasty with me on the phone saying he was trying to save me money. The company they are allegedly representing are not even around anymore.

I get the exact same.  Weird thing is i just started up the phone with charter and just started DTE energy.   So how the heck do they get this information either DTE or Charter is feeding these numbers to a third party.

My first call was silence i hung up after saying hello a couple times, my second call i waited a bit and got the computerized "goodbye"  which is a bit freaky computerized womans voice.

Been getting a call from 215 892 1417 for the past 8 months now, once or twice a week, claiming to be michcon/dte energy.  I've called dte and talked to supervisors there and they have no clue what I'm talking about because I'm not on their list or in their system any where.  I'm getting really fed up and I'm about to go ape s*** on their a** if they call back again.  We've already threatened legal action and they still call. And like everyone else when we call the number back all we get is a busy signal.

Received multiple calls in one week, I mess with them on the phone because I know this little gas scam they are running, I keep telling them I'm not interested they say I haven't heard what they are selling.  I said I am full aware of the "service" they are selling.  Recording calls as well ask them not to call they reply "well you didn't tell me not too"  no sh*t Sherlock I told your drag queen girlfriend to quit calling.  They call everyday and run at the mouth without even trying to sell anything.  I advised them if they continued I would be taking the taped recordings of their continue harassment to the state police and bbb.
They can't give me a company name but want me to buy gas from them and bill through DTE...yeah no thanks.

Michcon is no longer even in existence. They were bought out by DTE.

This is the first time i got their call. I answered and no one said anything, then there was a beep. And a computerized woman's voice said, "goodbyyye". Like what is that man? When I called back, it said the lines were busy. If I get another call from this number, I'm reporting it to the authorities.

We need to contact the athorities about these people.  The guy was rude when I asked him to take me off the list.  I asked for a supervisor and they kept hanging up on me.

My mother in law gets a call from this number about twice a month.The female says "you gonna die". We had a trace put on this line, number 217-892-1417 came up out of Quakertown PA.

They call every day! The day before yesterday a woman who called from the number left a message on our recorder that said "you gonna die!?" and today we get home and a man's voice from the same number, I can tell because of the time the call came in and what it says on recorder are both the same. He says, " go to hell!" how weird is this s***? I try to call back the number and all I get is music! it doesn't even ring, it goes right to the music. This is gonna drive me nuts! I have the day off tomorrow and I'm waiting for them to call and I'm gonna mess with their f##%ing heads! The Fricken retards!

Channing called my home today. He wanted to verify my address and wanted my "EID" number off my utility bill.  I asked him if he was with our current utility compnay, which he did not know the name.  I then asked hin for his name and phone number, which he gave his name and called id shows this number above.  He stated further he could sell utility directly from a provider, he was the provider and for six months I would get a discounted rate of 11.5 per kilowat hour.  He asked me where I was from, I am from Texas, I said, he asked, born and raised, I said yes. Why then wouldnt..you, and then he said "you have a good day".

Picked up and immediately hit the mute button before I said anything. 10 seconds later they hung up without saying a thing. sounds like an illegal auto dialer to me. This number has been added to my call block list (Which is getting longer every day at the moment)

Phone rang 3 times then stopped before the answer machine (Or me for that matter) picked up.

Call back and i get a busy signal.  The reason I called it back to begin with is I live in Mi and have been workin in Quackertown on a church so I thought this to be strange. I guess this was just a coinsedence.

Getting the dead lines/hang ups when answered. If I let ring the call will drop before answering machine picks up. On call back, it rings a few times, then pulses three times to a dial tone. Very strange. Thought maybe it had something to do with the Charter phone line we use.

called by 215-892-1417 and they claimed to be Michcon (gas company) when I told them I was not interested and wanted off their list he said "f*$k you, you are one of our f*$king customers." He then hung up.

THEY CALLED ME AND ASKED FOR MY NAME AND MY ACCOUNT #?!?!?! HOW DO POEPLE GET AWAY WITH THESE SCAMS? REALLY, THEY SAID THEY WERE A CHEAPER GAS CO. BUT DIDN'T GIVE ME A NAME... ALSO, I AM ON THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST!!! NICE!
