I did my own investigating also. The calls are "switched",routed via OCN 6623.in Perth Amboy. NJ
I believe this person/persons are connected to Craigslist in some way. I would take these calls seriously
As this person is obviously deranged. I would also inform local authorities.

I have been receiving phone calls from this sick SOB for almost a year and half  now!

I just received a phone call from him tonight (11/29/08) and decided to put his number in the google search bar and this site came up to my surprise.

It started after my picture ran in magazine ads for Trimspa.  I was also on Trimspa's home page so, I thought he got my name and information that way because he calls me by name.

He calls from a private number as well as the 215-900-4209. I have gotten the police involved on 3 different occasions with no help.  The police even called this number to get the calls to stop but with no avail.  All they tell me to do is change my number to a private number.

I did do a search when the calls started and found out the number is from Philadelphia. I also know his name is Jay, at least that's the name he gave.  I never speak to him, I just immediately hang up.  But one day my sister answered the phone and he asked for me and my sister asked "who's calling" and he replied Jay.  

He lets enough time to go by to let you think he has stopped call but he ALWAYS call back.  So, for those of you who thinks he has stopped calling because it's been two weeks, think again.  He will call.

He also does not fear threats!  My husband has threatened him a few times. Once, my husband told him that he would gut him if he ever called again.  This did not work.

I can't believe this pervert is calling several people. He is sick and I want this jerk behind bars.

Have seen this number posted as the number to call for various apartments for rent in Philadelphia.  I began to wonder only because my many phone calls expressing interest in the apartments were never returned... but I saw the same units posted in the Philadelphia housing section of Craigslist numerous weeks in a row.  I got curious and google the number and came up with this thread.  Ackk.

I thought I would see the progress on this as my incident has stopped for almost 1 year. I put call intercept on my phone and physically blocked his number and have been call free for almost a year.  I was very upset and concerned for a long time as this is very scary.  If you block everyway for him to contact you he stops.  I haven't even recvd any attempts via call intercept.  The process was expensive but worth it!

this a***ole called my fiancee a few times before... sorry for the language.  At first i was mad but now it just got frustrating.  He called from blocked numbers and then got bold and unblocked it.  I called him back but he never answered so when he called i picked up and threatened him.  he stopped calling for a while but started calling again.  at first i thought it was an old boyfriend but after googling his number like many of you found that she wasn't the only one.  I don't know where he got the number because we live further south than most of the people here and never been in magazines or costco or any of the places mentioned in the blog.
I saw that a det. is blogging as well and have a question for him.  I watch a lot of crime shows and i have called the police and all they can tell me is that it is a philadelphia number which i could have found out for myself if i googled the area code.  My question is that on these shows that can triangulate the call from satelites, is that something that you can do or is that just T.V.

Male subject calling female harassing her with unwanted sexual comments, starts and then stops.
Subpoena has been filed, and I have received (limited) information back. I will share this with any verified law enforcement agency out there. I overheard one of his calls, I look forward to arresting and prosecuting him once I find him, especially after reading the other posts on this site.
FYI- It is very frustrating for law enforcement as well as all those who have been victim of this guy, we are limited as to what we can do as well, so hang in there.

this guy called my fiancee a few times witha blocked number then we restricted blocked calls from getting through and he unblocked it. when I called back he didn't answer or hung up when I picked up.  I left him a few messages telling him to stop or there would be consequences.  they stopped after I called a few times.  the thing is that we have never been to philly or jersey. we live in a northeast state above new york.  maybe this a$$hole isn't even in philly and just has that area code.  or maybe he travels and and gets these numbers on his travels....  I don't know just brainstorming... anyway good luck

I find some of your information very informative!!!  I was not allowed to get a supeonea as the Police department in my area stated it required a direct physical threat to do so.  

I have also never been to CostCo.

They also Told me that It was impossible to get the information I needed.  I personally wanted to know who it was as I thought it might be an ex husband And was worried.  Your are right there has to be a linc.  My phone calls have stopped. I blocked every way for him to call I sincerely hope that this wacko stops doing this to people, as it can be very frightening.

i live in the surrounding philadelphia area...but as I mentioned I havent been anywhere near mt. laurel, nj...or costco.  i'm stumped.  its hard to find a common link when you don't want to give too much information in case this guy is reading any of this. if i think of anything else, i will let you know.

If you don't belong to Costco or live in the Mt Laurel area, I'm not sure where he got our numbers. But I am sure that the more we keep talking with each other we will be able to find out our common denominator. There is definitely something that is connecting all of us. Since the phone calls to you have just recently started in the last 2 weeks, I would really think hard where you've been and what you've done over the past weeks, even if it doesn't seem significant to you.
Also, I would definitely report it to your local police and let them know that this is a chronic situation that's been happening to other women. This way there is a long paper trail on this guy and the detectives in other cities could compare notes making it more likely to catch him.

Hi guys. I just found out about this website through the twist and turns of my own investigation. This nasty pervert started calling me in Feb 2007. At first I was like whatever. And then my friend encouraged me to get the police involved. Not only did I get the police, but I was assigned my own Special Victims Detective to handle my case. Well, the one thing I can say is not because someone blocks their number or calls from a prepay phone, doesn't mean that the phone can't be traced. So the detective & I got a subpoena to have Omnipoint/AT&T to give us a copy of all calls made from his phone. So in fact, I probably have seen some of you guys telephone number.
I do want to say that I too have been to the Bombay that went out of business in Mt. Laurel, NJ. But for some reason I don't think that is the link. Only because I had the opportunity to speak with one of the ladies he has called, that was on his telephone records, and she said that he happened to give a description of what she looks like. Also, she lives thousands & thousands of way . (I don't to s ay the state or country location)
So because I myself have a detective's brain, I believe that it has to be a place that we not only have in common, but he would have to have access to our info on a nationwide scale, and be able to have access to a photo of us. The only thing that I can think of is Costco.
1)There is a Costco in the same shopping area as the Mt. Laurel Bombay store
2)Costco is nationwide
3)Costco takes a picture of you - which would explain how he could describe one of the ladies he called
4)He would be able to have access to numerous numbers and addresses

I could be wrong, but let me know you guys thoughts.
I believe the more we communicate amongst each other, we will be able to connect the dots. And I will be able have that much more info to give to the detective for our investigation.

i started getting these calls about 2 weeks ago, called from an unknown, wanted to give it to me, yada yada.  Reported him to the police -- Philly, 9th district, suggest you all too.  Now the 215-900-4209 came up tonight on ID.  I'm going to block him via AT&T, my carrier.  Anyone gotten anywhere with the police?!?!?!

I paid the $15 too. plus the $49 plus plus plus.  Anyway, he is calling from a prepaid wireless.  Can not be traced.  can you imagine?  and you are right, he says the same thing over and over.  I tried to talk for awhile to see if it is someone I might know, but as far as I can tell, is not.  *57 is really great, that is how I got the number.  You trace it and all of the info goes streight to the police.  He is really a wako!!!  and nothing scared him.  Good Luck to everyone take my earlier advice.  The calls finially stopped around 2 weeks ago.

This guy has been calling me for almost a year and is the most annoying and disgusting a$$hole!! He calls from blocked numbers and then when i tell him i dont answer blocked #s he will call from this number. I paid $15 to find out who the number was registered to and didnt get any results. Its definitely in the philadelphia area (where im from).  I dont know how threatening he is, he seems to just say the same things over and over (he has a big hard c***, when can he taste it...) you get the idea. I will definitely take the advice of "q" above and get the police involved if this doesnt stop soon. I hope somebody finds this pervert!!

I had to call police, block his number, and add caller intercept to get the phone calls to stop.  You have to trace his number using *57 through verizon, then you will start a paper trail for the police.  all of the traces through verizon are admissible in court.  hope that helps.

Called my mother again by name, this time from a Restricted Number, asked her to come out into the street, of course no one was there when I went out.  We have never been to Mt. Laurel, NJ as a previous poster asked and we do not currently use Nutrisystem, although my mother did work for Nutrisystem about 20 years ago.  I doubt there's a connection there, but who knows? This guy seems like a real weird-o.

yes, I have been to bombay before it closed in mt laurel.  and yes the calls stared about the same time. didn't think about it.
