Rule # 1 . Never pick  up an unknown number.... =  happy . I've never been sorry..only when I forgot this rule .

Called......'unknown caller" pops-up, no message..... nothing this is just another A-HOLE debt service calling using spoofing tactics.  If they were legit a message would be left.

Automated female voice offering carpet cleaning service.  Seems to be calling numbers in ascending order.  I have two numbers 1000 apart (i.e.: xxx-xxx-5xxx & xxx-xxx-6xxx) and they were called about 90 minutes apart w/ same automated femals voice offering carpet cleaning service.  Listed through to end and didn't press 1 when asked to.  Hung up 10 seconds later.  Not heard back since.  Both numbers on Federal and state (PA) do-not-call list; sigh.

calls every day 3 or 4 time a day leaves no mesage and id says Pennsylvania

I tried calling 215.987.5487 ... received telephone company message that number is not in service, etc. ... so apparently caller is spoofing number Caller ID shows. I did report violation to "Do Not Call List."

I got the same call on 1/20, didn't answer. After reading other posts I'm glad I didn't waste my time calling back.

This number has called my house before, but I never answer unknown numbers, and they NEVER leave messages.  I found this to be shady, so after researching, it appears that I am not the only one getting these calls.  Sounds like it could be an illegal action taken by card services.

I am so glad I actually researched this!  The number came up as Pennsylvania on my caller ID, but for some reason it seemed familiar (as if it had called me before).  I don't usually try to look up strange numbers that call my house, but I am happy I did. thank you for this information!!!!

dave is 100% right. if you feel like watching the patterns of calls you will find this to be true. they sometimes can have a "county court" name pop up. always know your rights people. they think they are sooooo smart.

This is a some carpet cleaning service (or so they say). I didn't understand their name when I asked them. I told them if they wanted to drum up business to have a live person call, not some automated system. I asked them to remove my number from their list. We'll see if that happens

It is a spoofed number by card services. It is highly illegal spoof a number, but this practice is frequently applied by these types of firms.

I got a call from  this number today (Thursday) at 2:48 p.m. but no message was left.  The name on the caller ID is PENNSYLVANIA.  Probably a  business cell phone number.  Well, I called the number and it says: not in service.

Received call from the same number at 3:05pm today - "name unavailable." I don't know who they are.
