they asked for some one that i didn't know.... they called my cell phone, the thing is I just got my cell phone in dec 2007 from sprint.  My guess is that it is a bill collector.

We have recieved three calls from a pre-recorded person naming a person and that by listening to this message that person is acknowledges that he has this debt.  The recording id itself as Academy and to call 800-503-3852 and gave a file number.
Problem is they are calling a church that has had this phone number since 1950's and no one with that name has every worked at or been a member.
I have tried to call the number to tell them to stop calling, but no one every answers.  Very annoying.

This number has called twice today within the same hour.  Ten minutes later someone calls from a "private caller"  Hummm....wonder who that was????

I have answered this number serveral times in the past 2 months and they are asking for someone who is not in my residence or employeed by me.  I'v told them I do not know the person they are calling and they still continue to call.

got 3 callls in a row by this # stating they are a collection agency for a credit card company, asking me if I am the person they mentioned to call back and if not to hang up.  It is annoying to have to do that 3x I would rather them not call me at all.

called first thing this morning and hung up

Ok,They finally left a message and it came up and said they are Acadamy Collection Service and could be reached at 1-800-503-3852. They said the name they were looking for and it wasnt me. And I have had this number for a couple years and NEVER had a 1-800 number call me more then once.

they keep calling for someone I don't know.  Probably a scam debt collector.  Since this is my cell phone number for years and not the other persons it's just become annoying.  Left 2 prerecorded "personalized" messages for this unknown person.  And illegal for them also.

Totally annoying ! ! !
