I get calls from 216-2010801    UNWANTED

Got a call, tried to call back.  VM is full with only "Chavez" as the identifier.  Scam no doubt.

I got a message from them too.  When I tried to call them back, the mailbox is full.  I also am on the Do NOT Call List.

They called at 11:15 , I answered & they hung up!

Received call this morning on my Cell. No message left. Is there REALLY any way to get these tele-spammers to stop calling?? Do Not Call registry doesn't work. These jerks call from all area codes.   To "Annoyed"  Thank you for providing links. I will give them a try.

This is a scammer.  They have been calling me for several months now and I have talked to them.  They try to solicit your account information, if you ask them too many questions they will hang up on you.

The calls come from several numbers (fake) all over the U.S.

Repeated calls on my cell phone

received  a call from these folks and have, over the years of having been on a no-call list, tried to listen to the message and select the option to be taken off the list, have waited to talk to a person, and have tried calling the caller-id number (which changes periodically) back to find the voice mailbox as full...  these people deserve both scorn and pity; is there, perhaps, a business opportunity here in the form of a private agency that collects phone call complaints and then, with tenaciousness and vigor, investigates the location(s) from which calls are being placed, finds the business registration(s), identifies the principal(s) and then files civil and (where possible) criminal lawsuits?  seems to me that a private, or set of private, companies who help track down these obnoxious and miserable people and prosecute to the fullest extent of civil and criminal law would work to make this sort of endeavor less-than-profitable...  add in a policy of full disclosure and publication of all civil and criminal actions, including names, locations, dates, etc. and the public shame element would also work to counter the attractiveness of this sort of activity... think of it like a public wall of telemarketing shame...

There is an option I found on my android phone to send calls from a particular entry directly to voicemail. Presume you can do something similar on iPhones and maybe other smartphones. Made an entry called spam Crap Telemarketer and now I add each new number they call from to that entry which is marked to go straight to voicemail.  Also put a minimal ringtone on it, silence would be better.

these jerks continue to call me about lowering my credit card payments and i have been as nice as pie, now i am getting pissed off as they are harassing me......nothing seems to work..you ask them to remove your number they hang up, you call them back and message box is full..i am sick and tired of these a***oles...please help.

They just called, I didn't answer and how do we stop this all together. I too am on the no call list.

The number seems to change from time to time, but the recorded message never does. Neither does the response when I get to a human operator and politely request that they remove me from their calling list. No, "thank you." No, "sorry." Nothing. Just an immediate hang up.

Every time they call -- and it is often -- I enter a violation into the Do Not Call Registry.  Perhaps if there are enough entries there our legislators will do something.

Received call from this number.  Pressed 1.  When they answered, I asked to have my number removed and they clicked off.  I am on the no call list for all cell and home phones and still get calls  I have been on this list for years since it first came out.  Who do we still get calls?  And now on the cell phones.

I got a call from this number, no message. It's not from anywhere or anyone I know.  I'm on a Do Not Call List but still get this junk. Isn't there any protection out there?

I have a very loud air horn I have use on them when I get someone on the phone.  At lease it gives me a little power over them. If everyone did this -maybe, just maybe, they would stop.  "No Call" is just a waste of our taxes - has anyone ever been fined?  I don't think so. If they have the government should publish the stats.

don't have credit cards, so don't want to be hassaled everyother day about concilading credit cards to save on interert etc.

Got a phone call from an out-of-state number
that I don't "know" or recognize.  
I didn't answer, but looked up the number here.
They left no message.  

I am on the National Do-Not-Call List,
and have been for over a year now.  
(I guess this is our government at work for us.)

and see if that can get the government
to work for me, and stop these calls.  
(Yes I will go through all those steps.)

Got another call today from whoever this is in Ohio.

I have received sooo many calls from this number! I have tried yelling at them, being nice to them, I attempted to tell them that I didn't have any credit cards but tried to ask if I could get one through them, I would not have really gotten one, but as soon as I said I didn't have a credit card, they hung up!! It is an automated call at first. It always says something along the lines of, "Hi, this is Lindsey I'm calling to get you a lower interest rate on your credit cards....blah blah blah!! I want them to stop calling me! I have asked SEVERAL times to take me off their calling list, but they just keep on calling! I'm sick of it!! Sometimes it's even at odd times when I'm trying to sleep!!

I also am receiving unsolicited calls from this number to lower interest rates.

I'm on the "Do Not Call List".  These people called me at 9:36 a.m.  (Weird that it is the identical time as Jill's)  This unidentified company continues to repeatedly call me.  I have ignored the calls.  I have answered the calls and have listened to the recorded message and tried to get removed from the call list.  I have also attempted to speak with a customer service agent when the calls did not stop and once I told an agent that I wanted to be removed from the call list she/he disconnected the call immediately.  They have called from multiple numbers.  The recording states that they can lower my interest rate.  I just would like the calls to stop so that my work day can stop being interrupted.
