They have called multiple times and never leave a message. I called the number and got an immediate message that doesn't identify the company's name, but says you can press 1 to be placed on the "do not call list." They say it will take 48 hours for the request to be processed.

It won't help. I have an Ooma phone which runs on VoIP and they still call me. The only good thing is that I can blacklist as many phone numbers as I want.

These a****oles call all the time and with different phone numbers. Luckily, I have the ability to blacklist as many numbers as I want so this one will go on the list too! They always call with some angle...lowering electric bills or some other scam. It is just that people, a scam! Do not give them ANY of your information.

Get a least 1 call per day. Always wanting to lower my electric bill. How do I get rid of these annoying phone calls? Help please. They drive me nuts as they do everyone else that gets a call from these jerks.

I have received six calls from this number and it's getting REAL ANNOYING!!!!! - 2/5, 2/6, 2/7, 2/12, 2/13, 2/15 - and counting. I always rely on my answering machine to pick up for numbers I don't recognize.

I got my first call from this number today, I did call back and press 1. We'll see what happens. I get so many junk calls a day it's ridiculous. I'm about to cancel my landline.

Thanks for the tip. I called the number from my caller I.D. and listened to the prompt (press 1 to be placed on their DNC list). It said to wait 24 hours for results. I only hope this will work. They have driven me crazy with multiple calls a day.

You won't get a response from these people. If you press "0" to talk to an operator, you eventually get hung up on without speaking to anyone. Very annoying. I've been called 3-4 times a day for the past 2 weeks.

This number calls my home atleast 6 times a day. I can only imagine that the folks that do this for a living must be lacking of education and have no other options in life but to do this type of so called work. I stayed on the phone today and spoke with a girl named Nina (so she says), claiming her I.D. # was 1402. She talked over me as well as making a very loud noise in the phone while I was speaking. So- called-Nina told me she would put my number on the Do Not Call List. I advised her I was on the National Do not Call List.
Lacking in any kind of smarts, she advised me it was not a sales call, therefore the National Do Not Call List does not apply. And what a shocker, she hung up on me. Who couldn't see that coming.

This number has been on my caller I.D. multiple times daily for the last few months.
The caller I.D. says Public Assist
When you call the number back, a man's voice answers saying, "Thank you for calling.
If you'd like your number removed from our call list, press 1 now". The person on the
message doesn't even identify themselves. And after you press 1, then it disconnects,
and they still keep calling & calling every day! When you call the number back & either
don't press anything, just wait, or dial "0" trying to get someone on the phone, you get
the loud beeping with the recording"if you'd like to make a call, please hang up . . ."
and then it disconnects. I would love to know who these people are & get them to stop calling.
Anyone know what to do?

Same experience as Terry's noted above.
A lot has been written in the press about citizens frusterations with these type of calls, why FCC does not shut down these callers.

Problem is people have babies sleeping and in my case both baby sleeping and sick adult. I would appreciate if no one answers after 25 times that you stop calling.

Public Assist 216 452 1052 calls my home morning thru evening and hangs up when the answering machine picks up, now going on for at least 2 months just as the previous poster wrote. Getting very annoying since we too have been on the do not call list throughout this time. There must be a way of reporting or blocking these annoying stalking phone jerks.

It doesnt work. They have been calling our office for 2 months on every line we have. I have "unsubscribed" every day and it doesnt matter. This is so annoying!!

216-452-1052 has called 4 times in the last 3 hours without leaving a message. Is there any way to get off their list?

This is the 6th site I've registered a complaint with to let others know about this scam. DONT push 1 to "take your name off the list"! It only tells the scamming scum that you're a real person. The DNC list is only going to affect honest businesses from contacting you. These low-life freeloaders are NOT honest, decent, hardworking human beings, and until they're caught, we'll have to continue to slam the phone down each time these bums bother us.

mult calls all week, no one there
Bill 2013-01-11 18:40:12 Unknown
Just redial and they offer option to be placed on DNC
Kristi 2013-01-10 17:20:50 Telemarketer
You can always file a complaint with the national 'do not call' list. We are on the list and they still call up multiple times a day. ALSO from different last 4 digits, not leaving a message, and continuing to call even after I press the number 1. The rules on the website say you can report them if it is an automated message, even if you did not register for the DNC list. Maybe if enough people complain they will be shut down.

This bunch calls a dozen times per day and NEVER leave a message.
The "option #1" to be removed from the call list appears to be
ineffective.
I liked it better when the same number use to call and leave messages with
offers for free videos of their mother having sexual relations with farm animals.
Jim 2013-01-04 20:44:40 Unknown
I have gotten lots of calls from them. If you redial the number, they have an option (1) to be put on their DNC list

These people call me about three times a day, never leave a message. It's getting really annoying. I've never answered the phone when they call but I think I will next time to see if there is a human on the other end. Or, if not, perhaps they will stop once someone answeres.

They have called 6 times in the past 2 weeks.

I got two calls today from this number with a recording that wanted to "help" me consolidate bills. First time the number was identified as "Unknown caller". Second call came in as "Cleveland, Ohio." I don't know anyone on the east side of Cleveland.
Carolyn 2012-12-18 17:05:12 Unknown
They called, said "Cleveland, Ohio" on Caller ID. It was a recorded message regarding lowering electric bills. I called my electric company who said it might be an "alternate supplier" . I'm just ignoring them if they call again.
