This number continually calls at all hours with no one there when answered. It posts it's coming from Beachwooe, Ohio. Most annerving!! My husband is gravely ill and this doesn't help his well-being. If it is regarding medical bills, the Veterans Administration is responsible for all payments.

I just got a call from this number and never even spoke to these people, just let it ring, nor do I owe on any debts; but for one vengeful collections agent (who probably has little more than a high school education and a few D.U.I.s) to have the power to put permanent notes on someone's credit history is pretty f--ked up.

They call my cell phone which is forwarded to either my home or business.  There is never any message, and I have no idea who they are.

Really believe that crap you just spewed out don't you.   These so called collection agencies are a joke.  I've been threaten by these people, harrassed several times a day and they don't leave a message to say who they are, who they are wanting to speak with and what it is in regards to.  I don't answer or return calls from numbers I don't know. And I have been harrassed by these agencies looking for someone else and when
I do answer and tell them the number does not belong to the person they are looking for, they ask if I know the person.  Even if I did I should not be harrassed because of them.  These collection agents need to grow up and quit threatening people to pay.  I'm pretty sure that is against the law.  And they don't want to make arrangements, they want it all now.  So before they jump to conclusions that the person just isn't paying it might be that they tried to make pmt arrangements with the company and they refused to work with the person.  Ergo why the collection agency got involved because the company wasn't trying to work something out.

216-454-8101 Terrace, Ohio on the caller ID. The man who called identified himself as Andre and began to call me all sorts of terrible names. He said that he was going to get money from my bank account and would then sue me to get more - or make me forfeit my house and car to him. He threatened to send his collectors to my job and tell everyone that I am a deadbeat.

This guy missed the boat. I have no debt, own no house (rent) or car (I use the bus) or have any obligations to anyone. I make $8.75 an hour and can't afford to hire a lawyer or take time off from my job to fight this company.

Can't someone do anything about this type of thing?

Wow, this guy sure was mad.  Don't take it so personal that you took a job where you constantly were hung up on and told how horrible of a person you are for taking that job.  Those people didn't know you, they didn?t know the life of a man forced to live in his mother's basement or the fact you look at buffalo bill from the silence of the lamb as a role model or some sort of super hero...it will be ok.

Now do you see how foolish you sounded going off on someone unhappy with how a company does business? No, probably not...well, at least mom's cooking meatloaf tonight right? You probably drive a Honda Civic or Ford Focus because you are so financially responsible too right?

This is a collection company Revenue group. It is an automated call. By the time you get to the actual message it takes about 3 min of waiting. Then it leaves a message to call Edward Martin @ 877-672-0363

OK... for those who don't understand how this works.  You absolutely need to pay your debts.  But, when you're dealing with collection agencies you are not dealing with intelligent life.  Most of these guys break federal laws every day.  BTW... you can have something removed from your credit report, it's not a difficult process.  Don't let these companies bully you.  If you decide to deal with them.  Take my advice.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER... give them access to your checking account.  They will clean you out.

Try to cut a deal with them.  Normally you can get them to settle the account for 30 or 40 cents on the dollar.

GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING.  Don't deal in cash, and if you get them to agree to take a settlement, make them send you that in writing before you send them a dime.

These people are very low paid, very untrained individuals.  They are in a high pressure job with huge turnover.  You're almost always better off dealing with the original company you did business with.

Good luck...

I got a call from this number. I was in a car accident last winter, and the medical bills are being handled by my attourney. I've told the various collection agencies this, given them my attourney's phone number, but this one keeps calling anyway. F*** OFF ALREADY!

What you are saying is totally not true.I did not receive a call from the original owner of the debt (hospital). I did not know I owed it because I paid for my visit at the beginning before seeing the doctor. About a year later, these people call and without knowing the situation started in on me. The minimal amount does not stop anyone from getting a mortgage...it's just that when one door closes another opens. You people are not as nice as you want to state or us to believe, but are as mean as heck. One would think when debt collectors call, the money came directly out their pocket. I do not deal with this company, or any other for that matter, and go directly back to the source. You make money off debts paid directly to you and I refuse to give my money to rude people like you all. But anyway...know what you are saying before you say it. You could wind up sounding stupid and foolish.

It's a bunch of trash to suggest that you treat people politely instead of swearing at them? Interesting.

I have previously worked in collections for a diff co, i get clls from this co revenue group because debt collectors are real people too and we're just doing a job. I couldnt resist replying to this though because the original creditor probably did call your pathetic non-paying a** and you wouldnt pay up so they don't have time to deal with you any more. Threats of violence from behind your phone or computer are swell but mostly they make us laugh. Because when you act like a nasty a***ole, you almost always end up calling a year later because your mortgage broker can't get you a loan. And the only thing between you and a house is a 100 dollar doctor bill. But you threatened the bill collector like a real hard a** so now that's in the notes and they won't remove it from your credit, all they are obligated to do by law is report it paid. Whereas if you had behaved like a rational, respectful human being instead of a neanderthal, they'd probably do you a solid and remove it so you could buy that shack in the woods or chevy truck or whatever.

They call relentlessly so I turn off the ringers! No clue who they are or what they are and could really care less.............I don't coddle collection agencies! If I have a debt with someone they need to grow a set and talk face to face with me, not send these pathetic piss ants to do their dirty work hell, most of them have trouble tying their own shoes and they want to talk to me??? If I have a debt it with the debtor, I don't deal with middle men and their sorry azz excuse for muscle! Come see me toe to toe, I'll give you a taste of muscle.......MAN to MAN meally mouse!!

It's a collection agency called the Revenue Group.  They have the ability to call from various phone numbers so you think it's a local call and you answer the phone since most people who are behind on debt know that any call from a 800# is a collector... It's a tactic that's been used for 15 years.
