Person called and knew my name. I told them they had the wrong number.

Just shows up as Ohio on my caller id.

First time I received a call from this number. Said "Hello", no reply. I recently closed an account with B. os A, but who is calling from that organization at 7:50PM Pacific time and saying nothing? Suggest this is fraud.

I just received call from 216-545-8515 frm Ohio...I send it to voicemail, as you'll said they did not leave any message...when I called back, it did say Bank Of America...and put me in hold for about half an hour...but did not get connected to anyone...Its the cell phone carrier companies who cannot control privacy of our numbers..thats why we get advertisement, fraud call and so so...

Rep called saying she wanted to thank me for choosing BOA. She also asked me why I choose to bank at BOA and asked me if I received my ATM card. She never asked me for my info but it seems strange because when I called a local branch the initial message says " Thank you for calling BOA... When I call the 216-545-8515 number it just says thank you for calling our office. I think it's a scam. When I opened my first acct with them I never received a courtesy call. I closed that acct and opened a new one. So why didn't they call me the first time. My husband banks with BOA also and they never gave him a courtesy either!

I was talking on another call when this phoine number called so I tried to take it since I have a BOA account and when I said Hello, nobody said amnything so I hung up.

I recieved a call from this number this morning.216-545-8515. When i answered the phone was silent.

I've been getting several calls at my TXT only number from this number.  So, it's not like I can anwser it.  But it is very annoying.  I don't know why "Bank Of America" would be trying to call me at the hours it says they call.  Crazy.

it seems when you do on line banking calls start to flood your telephone. if it is the bank why not leave a message.

I've been receiving calls from this number for about a week now. They never leave a message, and never call more than once a day. I have, however, recently made a tier change to my checking account, so there is a possibility that this is BoA calling to check in. Either way, I'm not inclined to talk to them so I'd rather they just go away.

Caller ID is blank, area code check indicates somewhere in Ohio.

I came down from canada to sanfran where I opened my account. I didn't know who it was and too tried to call it back but said call back m-f what I found in sanfran scared me to death. One guy I rented his floor for week sat up for days on method/speed trnferring account #'s creating accounts alot of things I could not even grasp. They are out there doing this as a full time job

I receieved a call from (216)545-8515 on 08/18/2012 @ 8:56am et. I have no clue what it's about, however I am a Bank of America customer.

This number has called me 4 times in 3 days, no voicemail, and no one on the line when I answer.

It took forever to connect and when it finally did the connection was pretty bad. It was a scam, they were pretending to be from Bank of America. I knew it wasn't them because when they asked me to verify the spelling of my name on the card they only had part of my second name, which is not what it says on my card.

Its a BoA welcome call.  No personal information asked, none given.  The lady seemed startled I agree to stay on line, she was courteous, if a little confused.  I'm guessing this call is made with an automatic dialer, so it takes a while for a live person to pick-up the phone; you won't hear anyone right when you answer.  Also, unless they're part of robo calls, automatic dialers won't leave messages.

I called the number back, and it was the BOA call center. I use to have a loan with them, about 8 years ago and its been paid off for about 5 years. They said they were just calling to survey why I haven't choose them to do banking with them? I said because everyone knows you rip everyone off and have bad interest rates. Plus, there have been several stories about how "someone" leaks into the people accounts and "possibly" drafts money. Take some time and do some research online about them... Mostly, its just a recruiting call to get people to bank with them.

It's harmless. It's Bank of America doing a service call, usually after you have done some kind of transaction. I received my call after   a visit to my local branch.

They constantly call my work number. I never answer. They NEVER leave a message. WHO ARE THEY!?

This truly is a legitimate Bank of America number.  As stated in other posts, it is a courtesy "welcome" call.  The caller did not ask me for a single piece of identifying information or account info.

Got a call from 216.545.8515 on a Saturday. I called back and got a message saying the department was closed.
