Got a call asking for email and fax number, woman wanted to send us a resume.

Received a call from this number at my workplace.  Female immediately asked me for my email address so she could send a resume. Told her we weren't hiring.

I just got one of these calls as well, the man on the line wanting an email address and fax number to send a resume. A little odd considering we're not currently looking for more employees.

Received call from this number; He wanted to email me a resume for a maintenance position.  Asked why because we werent advertising.  He said he was fishing for a friend.  He wanted my email and I wouldnt give it to him.  Told him to fax it - no fax ever came through.

I received a call from this number at my business looking for an email address and fax number to send a resume. Not even a minute later I got a call from the same number this time a man asking the same question. I called him out and asked where he was calling from because obviously it was a call center... He just said yep and hung up. Not clear on what the motive was, unless it was just to get our info. ???

I too received this same message......Just received a call from a scam. Robert L Perry 216-939-0634.... it is a survey that says press 1 to continue or press 9 to be removed from the list.

This is really getting old and irritating.

Got calls from this number. Said to take survey and claim the 2 week cruise that i have already won. Also says press "9" to be removed.  I pressed "9" and have received more calls.

Got numerous phone calls from this number.  Caller ID identifies it as ROBERT L. PERRY.  Called the number back and got a busy signal multiple times.

I've sent two complaints to the Federal Communications Commission, each listing phone numbers, dates, and times of the calls.  The FCC responded with a form letter each time.   I'm now sending my complaints to my two senators and my representatives.  If they cannot find the loophole that is allowing these electronic terrorists to slip through there is no hope for modern society.

I work in the wireless network industry but former landline and let me just say that caller id spoofing is becoming more and more prevalent. If you do not know what spoofing is; look it up. VOIP services make so many of these telephone scams easier. I never answer a number I do not know. It is true that by answering the phone and pressing any buttons will allow someone within the US or out to place long distance or international calls using your phone line. Only answer numbers you know and if the caller is legitimate they will leave a message. If they are still unfamiliar just never respond. Blocking only works sometimes being that these callers typically have a T-1 in place and have several numbers built on a trunk. If you don't block the entire range; they can still call. A darn headache. Protect yourselves everyone.

we keep a landline just so these idiots will call here & not our cells!  so basically, we don't answer it any more. we screen.   if it's someone who knows us or has legit reason to call, they'll leave a mssg.  if we are here & recognize them, we pick up.  our friends & family know this...makes for lots of ringing...but few messages!!

Robert Perry claims he will give you a two day cruise for answering a survey.  I really believe that one.  I hung up immediately.

I got a call from 216-939-0634 as well that registered Robert L. Perry also. He left no message. I am glad I didn't get the scam survey! Very Scarey!

Same story ... called when I was on the other line ... no message.  Tried to call back; call would not go through.

Google Maps show this to be a Shack in the Slums of Cleveland... LOL!!!

Called my cellphone in Plano, TX on 12/29/11 and left no message.  Address is for Robert L. Perry at 1421 W. 50th st in Cleveland, OH and is a small frame house per google maps.  Most likely a scam!

Got a call from this number. When I picked up and answered I got no reply. How are these nusiances getting numbers I do not know. I appreciate the blogs. Hopefully, the jerks get caught and are prosecuted. I would love to put my foot up their a**.

Got a call from this number, but didn't answer.  From the comments above, this is the same type of call you will receive from 213-289-9006 (that I blocked).  Even though I'm on the do not call list, I just recently started getting these types of calls on my cell phone....hate them!!

apparently this caller dials throughout the US.
