I got a missed call from unknown caller  with # +223778010140. When I check what country using that code its Mali and in Africa where scammers and fraud are rampant. I ignore it.

Phone calls from223-475-3505 they hang up as soon as they hear you say hello.

Yes I received the same. Also from the same area code stating it was from microsoft office, showing that my computer was infected with a virus....... I asked for a returned number and the location to where the office was.  I was told there is not time to spare!  Click.....that was the end of that!!!!

I had a call from the 223-475-2949 and a man kept saying that he was watching me, then he hung up.  Like everyone says it would no go through when I tried to call back... Creepy

Have received two called from this 223 area code in the last 1/2 hour.  One from 223-475-1747 and one from 223-475-1765.  No message left.  Annoying.  After reading the other posts I'm tempted to answer the next call with an air horn.

a lady called me from area code 223 number 300 2233 and pretended like you work at Microsoft and wanted to fix my computer

Firstly thank you for the forum to post the ANNOY of the situation caused by the 223 dialers. They have been calling the home of my 90 year old mom (dying from cancer!) and the phone rings, she cannot hear who is on the phone, I heard her asking who it was, then hello, hello and then becoming upset that it might have been one of her friends needing help and they could not talk. I think whoever this is should have something MORE annoying done to them,. This world is becoming more and more filled with scammers, scumbags and a form of CREATURE habits that are disgusting, At least this site gives one the opportunity to VENT and perhaps someone can find a way to BLOCK ALL INCOMING CALLS that are from that area code, We have VIPER antivirus that warns us of trojans and malware and removes the virus...TOO BAD WE COULD NOT GET RID OF THESE GERMS OF SOCIETY and have it all stop, My Mom does not need this ^%&^*()_(*!

I got 4 calls on my cell phone one after another and the a***ole hangup, the phone number has an extra digit 223-697-61962, I contacted my wireless carrier and was told they would report it to the FCC and try to block this number but I doubt it will work being it has the extra digit, lets see what happens.

I had 7 missed calls from 122379297238 in a 10 min period, then 2 calls in the middle of the night. This numer (or country code at least) calls in spurts then stops, but leaves barely audible messages with no call to action. Its just plain annoying.

Our business phone showed a number on the caller ID with area code 223.  I was going to return the call, even though no message was left, until I conducted a search for the area code to find out the city of origin.  Thank you for this website.  It saved me from discovering that the number originates in Africa and is a scam.

There is no 223 area code in the US.

223 is a country code for Mali in Africa.  This phone call is coming from Africa. This country is well known for phone fraud schemes.

Someone with a strong Indian accent called at 8:20am from 223-051-6600. He said the call was being monitored and demanded that a Sprint debt must be settled immediately and that I hadn't responded to mailings. I have no Sprint debt. I've received no mailings. Also 223-051-6800 was on my caller ID from the night before.

This ultra aggressive, slimmey, and conniving vermin called my wife to threaten our credit rating if we didn't pay instantly with our credit card so she had him conference call to me where he said we had no right to documentation about the "supposed" bill that was 6 years old and thats when I realized it was a SCAM so dont ever respond to anyone who says a paper trail is not possible or legally required from their end of the transaction

I had the exact same thing happen to me two days ago. Caller said he was calling on behalf of a company called Howard Collection based out of Chicago. The thing is, Ive spoken with this company last fall and theyre services werent outsourced . . . The funny part being, I actually had an account from Sprint show up on my credit report ! They said it was a landline account. I've been going and around with them for nearly four and a half years now !

This person keeps calling me from 223-667-97107, which is not a valid US area code.
