Strange..... I was heading for bed ....after 10:30/10:45.... and noticed my phone said "new calls".  So I looked and there it was again 224-425-5206..... at 8:52 pm TODAY.... I was home and right by the phone.  It never rang.  So what happened?....did they dial my number and hang up???  Caller ID says W2W.... whatever that means.   I am not answering it.  And to b.sanhu@yahoo.com.... how can I trust you if you work for them.  I am afraid to email you.....plus, it probably isn't worth the effort.

I am actually the person who calls, so I know just about everything. I want to make sure others do too. Anyone reading this please email me, and I will gladly give you info. on the slimy side to how this phone solicitation business works.  Yes, I feel bad for what I do, but I'm poor and this is my job. But I am working hard to spread info on the company I work for that calls you for these things.

We keep getting calls from 224 425-5206 which obviously is an extension on this main number. These people keep hanging up on us. Please SHUT THEM DOWN!

They call and hang up. When you try to call them back the line is busy. My caller Id shows the call is from arlington hts. Illinois.  Have no idea who this is from, or what the location really is.

Rather than get any more calls from them, I just blocked that phone number. You must have this feature on your phone and with your phone provider.

Continue to call don't leave message.  Collecting money for an organization that is not legitimate.

It's that time of the year people, with the holidays soon to be here, the calls are going to be more frequent and certainly annoying.  Also, many calls concerning the upcoming elections and surveys, etc.  I remember this number from last year.  If you call your local police or fire department, they wil tell you that no local departments solicate people for donations on the phone.  I had contacted the Illinois State Police awhile back, concerning a call I got from someone claiming to represent the ISP.  He emailed me back stating that they do not do this sort of campaigning for money.  So, don't be fooled.  This is a contractor hired to make calls to get you to part with your money, so that they can pocket 80% of it, and only give 20% to the actual charity.

224 425 5200  Other searches say they are a cell in Arlington Heights, IL.  I believe if they call your phone they should forfeit all rights to privacy and you automatically have the right to know who it is and all about them.  Why are they allowed their privacy and we are not.

They called and said that they are collecting money for "The Disabled and Retired Firefighters of Illinois". When I asked them if the charity is registered with the Illinois Attorney General, they stated that they were. When I asked them to send me info on the charity, they asked that I pledge some money first because "stamps are expensive". When I said that I would donate only if they are an established legitimate charity organization, they said "good luck to you" and hung up.

Your right they dont call, its illegal for an officer to call you. If you think about it 20% to the charity isnt bad considering all they do is sit back and get 20% of whatever is collected and have to do nothing. None of you guys ever consider how much administrative costs there are.

When I answered all I got was people talking in the back ground.

Repeated calls from this number with no message left.  All report seem to say it is a bottom feeding scam group.

Just got a call from this number Sunday night at 8:55 p.m. asking me to please wait for the next available operator.   Then it finally hung up.   No answer when I tried to call the number back.

I accidently answered the phone because I was waiting for a friend to call (lived north west of chicago)...it wasn't her...instead, it was someone  (guy) looking for donations for a retired something (firefighter/police fund). Weird because I had been recieving calls a few weeks prior from 2 other numbers...that called non-stop....I blocked these numbers then recieved this one and now its starting up again with weird calls. I'm on the do not call list ...but as we know that means nothing. Here are the other numbers maybe I'm not the only one recieving from same group of numbers. I filed a complaint with the do not call list...I'm sure that they won't do anything.

No matter what I do, I still get these calls, so now i answer them. I keep the person on the line as long as I can, and I don't get upset. I hope that if they spend some time with me, they will get to bother less people that day. Ask them for information, or better yet, say please hold on, and put the phone down.  It costs me nothing to answer, I can only hope it costs them something.  maybe, just maybe, this will someday prove unprofitable for these dirtbags and they'll go away, until then, keep them talking. when you have to go, laugh and hang up. enjoy that they couldn't call 10 people while they were on the phone with you.

I keep getting calls from this number....I finally talked to a woman who asked for me by name....I asked who was calling.....The bi*** laughed and hung up on me.....I wish I could get access to these peoples home phone numbers......

11/27/10 This number called, I looked a the caller ID it said Arlington Heights. I lifted up the phone and slammed it down in one second. If I don't recognize a number, or area, I do that every time.

If it was an important call, they would call back, and they didn't.

They called on July 30th at 5:30pm Chicago Time.Caller ID as Illinois call.Called back but no answer.

Calling and no one responds. ID given as "Arlington He IL."

Been getting calls from this number and could hear people in the background.  Then they hung up!!!  Why can't anybody do something about this number since it has been going on for a few years according to all the dates on this listing for this number.

I was curious because I thought it might be a friend or family member calling from a cell phone, or because I have a home business, one of my customers.

The 224 area code is reserved for cell phones.  I live in Chicagoland area and know many people with cell phones with the 224 area code, including myself.  

Sounds fishy to me.

Anyway, after I answered and got an immediate hang up.

Caller asked for my wife.  Told him she wasn't available, how could I help?  "This is just a courtesy call" and quickly hung up.  What ever happened to the Do Not Call Registry?  I know we are on it!

sometimes get a msg that says wait for next rep.  most of time hangs up when I answer.  have tried to call back several times and receive no answer.  they call a lot and I want them to stop.
