Got a call, didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

My called ID said Libertyville, IL. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I am so very tired of all these stupid phone calls.

This is still continuing in the summer of 2013, apparently! The caller ID says 'Kane Co. Illinois.' No message left.

They call often.  Same guy's voice, but different 847 and 224 numbers.  Often nobody there when you answer, if there is, they are soliciting for police, fire or veterans charities.  The guy talks like he knows you.  Iritating fake Chicago accent.  He watches too much TV.  My understanding is that these are PAID solicitations, the charity gets what's left after the company covers costs, salaries, profit, etc.  NOT a good way to give.  I count them as telemarketers, not charities.

I just got a call from this number today (The End Of The World Day!) with about 15 seconds of creepy music and a hang up.      ??

Called me but when I answered no one was there so I hung up before someone jumped on the line.

Lately we get the Kane County Ill. ID, and they don't leave a message.
We are on the national do not call registry, but the number of these types of calls has increased. We are
getting at least 10-12 calls a day from different  ones.
They have learned to hide their ID, some using the computer to alter the Caller ID. I am not sure if I can
get a real address to complain.
There are also a bunch toll free calls from different states.

The number is listed to a D. Sabol at 871 ann arbor ln in Vernon Hills , Illinois 60061.  Maybe we should write them and find outn what they want.

Got a call from this number showing In my caller ID as Kane Co Illinois. I didn't answer so I called back and it just rang.  I'm assuming it's not anywhere close to being Kane County since I'm for certain they can afford in adding a voice recording message if they can't get to you.  Especially if it's an emergency or somewhere in that nature.  In short version just a prank.

Also received a call from this number.  Of course there was no message left by the caller.  My thought is "Man Up."

Yes, this moron called for my wife today and said he was from Kane County Police stating this was a "thank you" call but didnt say for what. Interesting since its a Cell phone and Libertyville is Lake County.  The second I asked him what he wanted he hung up.  I proceeded to call back 4 times and he never picked up.  Seems like one of those "Donation Scams". Ill keep trying to call him back and if he doesnt answer I'll report him to the Police as an impersonator.  No Cop I know would be so "docile" on the phone so I know for certain it wasnt the Police.

They call several times a week but we never answer.  ID says Libertyville IL.  Sorry, don't know anyone from Libertyville so I'm not going to waste my time and answer it.  They never leave a message either.  I thought they're required to enter their place of business and not where they're calling from---that is if it's really where they're calling from.

Although we have requested to be removed from the caller's list, he continues to call our home number to request donations to the Illinois Viet Nam Veterans Association.

Kane Co. Illinois.... who is this?
