Just an FYI....

This is probably a post from them....they pretend to be someone who had to deal with their law firm and post something that makes it seem like its pointless to fight them.

They have someone who googles complaints about them and then post something to counteract the complaint.

Wow! Attorney's office located in Illinois. Called and spoke with case manager about a debt I owe. The case manager (Paul Branson) was understanding and we we're about to come up with a hardship plan, but then he gave the phone to his boss( Mike Rivers). This man became real irate and hostile, even used foul language. He said he was going to use his "power" to sue me. I explained to him I was just calling to settle up and explain my situation. He refused to talk to me and even hung up. I do not recommend calling them back....even if you owe the debt. Next call I'm placing is to the Illinois Bar Association to file a complaint.

Debt Collector
My wife got a call from them. Person demanded my wife's routing # and bank account #. She told them she won't. They said "I am an attorney. You have to give it to me". She's disabled & I'm her Rep Payee for her SS Disability benefits. I called them and explained all this to them. I told them to destroy bank info and cease any action unless authorized from me. I was told by a lady that she didn't care who I was and that they were taking money out of account anyway. There is no judgement or court garnishment and they can't garnish SS benefits anyway, not even a case filed by them. They took out $300 one day and $350 two days later. Luckily bank got the transfers reversed since I caught it right away and called them immediately. I had to close the account and re-open a new one so that this could be the only way to prevent in future.

These people called my parents asking for me....haven't lived at home for almost 20 years! They told me that my parents' number was the one they had on file with the company. What a bunch of crock since I never used their name and number on the loan...they probably looked up my SS number to look into my background to see who they could call to get a hold of me. The woman that called my parents only gave h name as Mrs. Allen. That's how you know it's a bill collector. They never use their name, just an alias.

Anyone have any problems with them threatening a subpoena????? Not sure if I want to take this seriously or not. Better call the original loan originator to be sure.

We've received recorded messages from John C. Bonewicz, a debt collector, since Sep 2010. But they were always from 800-700-2106. On 25 Jan 2011, we got a matching recording from 224-534-8030. The website www.jbonewiczlaw.com is the perfect place to get info on the company using 224-534-8030.

Wife got a voice mail from this group, asking for Rachel (not my wife's name). Called back and told them no Rachel here. Voice mail had details: John C. Bonewicz  Traced the phone number to Skokie Illinois.  I kind of guessed they were debt collectors so googled debt collectors in Skokie and found the firm.  You can find more info at      www.jbonewiczlaw.com
