I didn't get a call. The people calling may be the people running this board. I do not know that and it is probably not so. But it could be. I check these boards and if I get a call from a number I don't know I don't answer it. I look at the number and write it down. if it is important they will call back. (More likely for them to call back if it is important to them, not important to me). After I don't answer I check the number on the Internet and see what is being said. I never call them back because there are numbers set up that you are charged exorbitant fees for calling and you have to pay them or lose your phone. (So I've heard anyway). There may be consequences for me posting this, but someone has to do something. Or, I guess everyone has to do something. Not something great necessarily, but something.

Keeps calling never leaves message everyday now.

This number has been calling me everyday at 9:30 for the past week. I don't answer and they don't leave a message.

Got a call today from a really enthusiastic lady saying I was a finalist in a contest that I was entered into by a credit or debit card company for being a preferred customer. They had my address or my listed address as it is not really my address and said I would get free magazines in the mail. Sounds stupid but they were fishing for info about my spouse and employment. Which I did not give. Life lock sounds like a good idea for these scammers, she quit asking questions after I refused to answer my employment.

Got a call from this number as well today asking for my boyfriend. Weird because no one knows we are together. When I said he wasn't available and I could take a message they said it was just call for him and hung up on me. I called back and they lady ask who they called, I stated his name and she asked if this was his number. I said no and she hung up on me again. I called again and they asked again if he was available and I said no they hung up on me again. How are they getting my number and know that him and I are dating? Seems strange to me.

Got a call from a lady at 2245771100 that had my address and asked me would I be interested in buying magazines.  I advised her, not interested.  She indicated that I would still be entered in the $25,000 contest.  The lady also said at the beginning to make sure I had a credit card.  I would have been crazy to give her my credit card information.   I definitely was not going to give her my credit card information to buy a magazine or any other item.  

FYI, I heard another voice in the background on another call saying the same thing.  They are just wasting their time, people are smart these days.  I tried calling the number back later in the evening, it kept on ringing--no answer.  To me, just a waste of time and sounds like telemarketers or could definitely be a scam.  Please do not give out your credit card information.

Just received a call from this 224 577-1100 telling me that I won a chance to win all the fantastic options listed below with the other comments. I went along with the call to see how far they would go. The caller snuck in that they were only asking for a "395" weekly contribution, and of course I declined the whole contest. The caller then wished me luck in the drawing and hung up within two seconds! I called the number back to see what kind of information I could get but it rang twice and hung up. SCAM!!!

Also got a call today at 1030am...weird! No one said anything -they just hung up.

I keep getting a call from this same number on my cell phone around 10:30am MST and the last time I got a call from at them it had the ID label instead of the phone number of 'Who At 1030'........   Very strang. I call them back and get no answer.  Further research on my part seems to indicate it is a network line from Peerless Network out of Round IL and at another place it shows as a telemarketer out of Des Plaines IL.

they just tried again - this time went straight to spam!  hooray - no rings, no muss, no fuss

I am hearing impaired and got a call from 224-577-1100 thru interpreter and I was told that I can not use relay service so I guess that is scam.

I got a call from a guy said he was calling from a publishing company in Illinois to enter me in a contest and  give me some free magazines. He verified my address and started asking questions: my age, employment, martial status, spouses employment, # years employed and salary.  At this point I asked him what any of this had to do with entering a contest.  He said it was a survey for seeing how the economy was going.  I told him I didn't want any magazines and he said it wasn't for magazines, then said except for the free ones. He still insisted that it was a survey for seeing how the economy was going, I again told he I didn't want any magazines. At this point he wished me good luck with the contest.

I just got a call from this number 224-577-1100, they guy said he was calling from Bloomington, IL and that he had FANTASTIC NEWS for me, I was entered into a drawing from a major credit card company as being a perferred customer and I could be the lucky winner of one of 4 great prizes, 1. a 2012 Ford Explorer, 2. 4 tickets to any Sporting Event I want 3. $25,000.00 or 4. something else, I forget the 4th one...  Anyway, he said he just needed to varify my mailing address and nothing else.  I asked where he obtained this information and who entered me and all he could say was one of the major credit card companies or the company that I have a debit card with but he couldn't give me a name, he just said it was a perk of that company to enter me.  Then he said to be on the look out after October 31st for a registered letter if I am the winner, that's how I will be notified.  I didn't verify anything I only said if I am a winner they will know how to get a hold of me.  Man..... Wish me luck!!!  LOL.... what a SCAM!!!

The only reason I answered my phone is because I am expecting a call from my doctor's office and the number was similar.

They call my cell phone everyday and just hang up. Never leave a message. Wish I could figure out how to block their calls. Very annoying

If you get a call from the number 224-577-1100 and someone tries telling you you're a "finalist" entitled to free magazine subscriptions, it's a SCAM.

How do I stop these calls to my cell phone?  Never a message, just calls everyday!
