Called multiple times in one week. When I answered they hung up, and when I called back to try and ascertain the party calling, I was wait-listed then promptly hung up on by this number. Further searching led to indication that it was a vehicle warranty type possible scam involving taking your credit card number to insure your vehicle from problems regarding a missing number in a vin.

This number (224)649-5615, (it's a cell, hard to trace) has tried to reach my UNLISTED NUMBER, without my permission,THREE Times in FOUR DAYS. One time, Day before Thanksgiving, Now, even SUNDAY MORNINGS. They do not care about you asking to take your number off the DO NOT CALL LIST, So I guess, the next step is to contact FCC as well as my TELECOM company, and the P(ublic) S(ervice) C(ommission). They want to PLAY HARDBALL, JUST TRY ME!!

These people continuously call my home at 8:45pm every night, all day Sunday and will not stop calling us regarding some extended warranty on my husband's Dodge Charger. I have repeatedly told them that the factory warranty may be expiring soon, but we have an extended warranty on this vehicle (Platinum package) through Chrysler. But they STILL KEEP CALLING.
They just called (Sunday at 11:55am), they say NOTHING, then the phone hangs up. When I call back (Sunday 11:56am), the greeting says that their offices are closed. WTH?
| NJdotCOM 2013-12-01 16:46:13 Telemarketer |
Caller ID was "AUTO WARRANTY." Presumed telemarketer. Calling on a Sunday is an added nuisance.
| It sounds like a scam 2013-12-01 15:19:12 Unknown |
I answered the phone..I heard some ghetto talk and a man say "boy, you be fancy" and they hung up. Called back and recording said I was calling after business hours. 9:15 on a Sunday morning. Uhhh ya. Left a message asking why if it is not normal business hours why then were they calling me. Said I' m thinking you are some kind of scam. Think they may be looking for someone elderly sounding to answer. Auto warranty comes up on caller ID. They have called 5 times.

This is a bogas company, they have a bit of your information and inform you that your VIN registration number is missing a digit.
If you give them a credit card number they can insure that you won't lose your vehicle extended warranties. Mark them in your contact numbers as "BOGAS" DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.

When the phone is answered they don't say anything
