we got a call from these people asking for five minutes of my time for this Steve Tzimas.  not sure how, I was busy perhaps and not thinking, I agreed to sit down with this guy.  5 minutes x 20 is what it ended up.  Asking all kinds of information and saying he also helped our competitors, etc.  We offered no information in exchange.  We never got a resume from these people or any real sense of what deliverables they will provide.  The name of the company was GPS...a business consulting company.  I could say more but I wont.  Look it up.  Do your research.  We will stay away.  I feel that this type of thing - in general - is predatory in the worst kind of way...especially for those smaller firms that might get roped in.

After our standard company greeting, "Hi, this is Sarah calling, is ______ there?"
I replied, "No they're gone for the day, would you like to leave a message?"
Sarah replies, "No, I'll call back."
At this point, I start to hang up the phone.  If you are a real customer/friend, you'll leave a message.
I get a small "Bye".  I reply and hang up.  Not having call display, I reconnect and she is still on the line.  I can hear lots of people talking and typing in the back ground.

They are also calling 877-891-8653 say they are from Sharon Landau's office. Hah, like I would fall for that!

Lady called me named Gustavia Williams. She said she was with SMS which is a contractor company. Asked for my boss directly by first name. Kind of rude when I asked who she was and what the purpose of her call was. I sent her straight to his voicemail.

For awhile now I have been getting calls from this number and everytime im promised all kinds of riches.  Jeff, rag, tim and whoever else I may have missed are all apart of this scam to get there feet in your door only to sell you their get rich scam. Its very pitiful that people like this will solicit the idea of success to possibly troubled company's that may do almost anything to stat alive.  Abs or whatever company they operate under should be ashamed.  Please take this from me, if your company is in hard times, needing finances, or extravagant "strategic tax saving" by the nations leading top tax specialist ( tim, rag or jesus) you will not get this from a telemarketing company. Hopefully they read theses every now and then and get the picture people are not as stupid as they think.

same here, they just hung up after trying to get a hold of my boss, (whom they also knew by name) their glaring lack of professionalism indicates they are not anybody you would want to talk to anyway.

A woman called from this number asking to speak with our company's president by his first name. First red flag. Then I asked if I could let him know who was calling. She said her name was "Sherry" and that she was calling from "Steve Tzimas' office". I asked if he was expecting her call, and she would not say yes or no, but then cut me off and said she is calling on behalf of her boss "Steve" to schedule an appointment to come to our office. I put her on hold for about 30 seconds so I could pretend to track down our President. I came back on the line and told her he was on the other line and then asked if I could have a number for him to call her back at. She then cut me off again and said "ill call back" and hung up in my face.
I asked our president if he knew these people, and he said no. They called from Illinois and we are in Canada. I guess ill be better prepared for next time. What a retard.

So I just received a call from a gentleman from this number. He said he wanted to speak to the owner. I told him he was not in right now. The man quickly got mad with me and said "Why did he just call me then" I then assured the man he couldn't have called because he's at his sons house and that wouldn't make sense. Then he man continued to get mad with me saying I was lying. I went then said well if you know him so well then why don't you have his cell number. He then got even more angry and asked for my name. I told him he didn't need to know my name and that I was the owners daughter. At that point he started mocking me and making fun of him. So I asked him if he wanted a metal for the performance he put on, and that if he calls again he will be reported. He swore and then hung up.

What a gem.

Just got a call from this number. The guy said his name was Dave. He asked for my boss BY NAME being very articulate about how to pronounce it. I said he wasn't in but I could transfer him to my boss's voicemail. He then asked for my boss's cell phone number. I told him I didn't have it. He hung up. I am in Illinois so I thought it was a friend or something. Apparently not.

"Tony" from "Steve Ragin's office" called this morning asking for my boss. I asked him what the nature of his call is, and he said it was for a meeting. I asked him what the subject matter would be, and he restated that it was for a meeting to discuss business.  I told him that was too vague and my boss needed to know what type of business it was.  He would not give me a straight answer and continued to insist that a "meeting" was the nature of the call. He got belligerent and nasty, and I hung up on him.

I know who this is. He is a sales man who is beyond rude. He threw his business card in my bosses trash can when he came to visit because we said we wouldn't give him business and now he is hounding us and keeps asking when we'll be open Monday for another visit- we said not interested and he yelled "WHEN ARE YOU OPEN MONDAY' at which point my boss hung up. I am contacting the company directly to put a stop to his harassment

Keeps calling even after I requested to be placed on their DO NOT CALL LIST.

They've been calling us daily, asks for one of the owners by name, this time the caller identified herself as Stacy Bowes calling from Mr. Maillard's office (I'm not sure about his name).
Our company doesn't do business with anyone from Illinois.

Same B.S. Some old lady named Hilda who smokes too much asking for the owner by name.

This number called my work yesterday. Asked for my boss by first name. I asked what it was in regard to, very politely, and he said "I want to setup a meeting". I knew right then that it was a telemarketer, so I asked what company he was calling from. He went into this speech about SMS messaging, or something of the like and I said that "We weren't interested". He then said "You retard!" and hung-up. These people are ignorant and just all-around terrible people. How does this get stopped?

Very similar to other posts, rambled on about how to make my business better and said her boss would like to come meet me tomorrow for 5 minutes.  I told her it took longer then 5 minutes to explain what it is they do.  She became confused.  I told her the number she is calling from had really bad reviews.  She seemed nice enough and I thanked her for the opportunity but I was going to pass.  This seems to work as no one ever calls back when I'm polite and respectfully decline.

Same story. They are Idiots.  I am the boss, but instead telling them the Boss is on another call.

They continue to call. Got to love caller id. Got another one of their calls today. Everyone in the office is aware of their number and we don't bother to pickup the phone when their number shows up.

Bill Stevens from ABS calls asking the speak with and names the owner regarding business. Of course we know who it is. They won't get though. They try and try and try and try and try and try and try and try and try but they won't stop calling. The phone number he gave didn't match the call display. The alternate number he gave was 1-847-312-4520. They seem to call more often toward the end of the month. They must be low on their call quota.

guy calls gives his name as "Ron Davis" & said company name was GPS...asked for my boss by first name..I asked him what the call was in regards to & asked which project the call was in relation to...he says that he is RETUNRING by boss's phone call........NOT!!!!! I put a message on the message board but someone should go in disconnect the number and find out who is calling their has to be some law out there to stop people like this . They don't leave a name for company she just pretends she is a customer or client, were in Canada I don't get how their able to find out all this info and then keep calling.

So true , business does pick up in the spring and they have in last 5 minutes hung up on me and called 7 times and asked for my boss by name and then said they had to speak with him right away  because they have a meeting with him and they don't wanna be late , the lady sounds like she is on a rampage and the man who calls sounded nice, both of them got no where with me, but I will wait for their call and mess with them like they mess with other people ,play the game back.

These A**holes keep calling. They continue to attampt to contact the owner. They will never get through. There are guard dogs at the gate with locks in place and they will never get the conbination. Even after the holiday they continue to call. Just put them on hold and leave them there. They won't hold long if they don't get what they want. The entire staff is aware of this number. You think these idiots would get a new number.

Receiving non stop phone calls every day now from this company (224-676-7533) asking all the same stuff you all  mentioned above. I tried calling the number back 5 mins ago and nobody picked up and then the phone number got disconnected after about 6 rings. Unbelievable this company!

Multiple unwanted calls from this number.

Yes I received a call from this woman as weel, very uprupt and tries to "catch" you by calling the owner by name. Hah she should know that there is a bull at the gate who will never let her speak to any senior management unless we know who and what its about. So don't give her the pleasure of wasting your management's time. I called back and the phone just rang.

These guys will continue to hound you and will not stop calling. Again and again we have told them to stop. At this point when we see the number. We pick up the phone and put it back down. When they call back all they do is waste your time trying to get through to the boss. They continue to ask for the boss.  We have counted three of them at least that take turns. They are unprofessional pretending to be friendly but will turn on you like a pack of wolves after fresh meat when they don't get what they want. They have yelled at, insulted and hung up on our staff when they dont get what they want. Feel free to hang up on them, yell at, insult them, and harass them as much as they have insulted our staff and I am sure they would do to your staff as well.

Woman just called and asked for my boss by name and when I asked what it was regarding she said she was just checking in and then hung up. I called the number and someone answered "client services". Wheeling is the name on the call display.
