posted something for sale on kijiji and 10 min later contacted me to ask if it was still for sale. I've seen this before so my response was "yes, local transactions only".. never responded back. This guy is using google voice also known as google grand central to send texts that cannot be traced... i know this because i work for a cell phone company and I'm able to check the source....BEWARE

I WAS CONTACTED DIRECTLY BY BRAD JOHN IN  ATTEMPT TO PURCHASE A CELL PHONE FROM ME VIA CRAIGSLIST.  THE FUNDS WERE GOING TO BE DEPOSITED INTO MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT. WHEN IT TOOK BRAD JOHN MORE THAN THREE HOURS TO DEPOSIT THE FUNDS OR CONTACT ME, I HAD THE PAYPAL ACCOUNT CLOSED. I RECEIVED A TEXT FROM BRAD JOHN AROUND 4:30 A.M. TELLING ME HE HAD DEPOSITED THE FUNDS INTO THE PAYPAL ACCOUNT. I THEN ASKED "HOW WERE FUNDS DEPOSITED INTO A CLOSED PAYPAL ACCOUNT?" HE CLAIMED HE DIDN'T KNOW WHO I WAS, BUT WHEN I SENT HIM MY EMAIL ADDRESS VIA TEXT MESSAGE, HE NEVER RESPONDED. I THEN CHECKED MY EMAIL ADDRESS AND HAD SEVERAL MALICIOUS EMAILS CLAIMING TO BE FROM PAYPAL. I FORWARDED ALL EMAILS TO PAYPAL TO HAVE THEM INVESTIGATED....STILL WAITING ON A RESPONSE FROM PAYPAL.

Same thing happened to me! They wanted to pay $90 shipping & like $20 OVER my asking price! He said it was for his "brother overseas". So happy I found this first!

Classic cut and paste craiglist scammer. pastes the title of you posting and asks if it is still for sale.

Same deal here. "It's for my brother overseas". You can smell these guys a mile away.

I had a camera system for sale and they wanted to pay me more than the asking price and shipping to over seas also.

I Just recieved a text from this number wanting to purchase an item I listed on Kijiji. After disscusing the product he offered to send 100 dollars for shipping on top of the full asking price through pay pal. Always go with your gut, decided to google the number and what do you know this number has been reported multiple times...

It's fraudulent, I warn you, do NOT send anything to them. Not only will you never get your money, you will never see your item ever again.

I have a listed item for sale on craigslist, the texted me at 3 am from a illinois number telling me they will pay 100 for shipping to west africa..I live in california mind you.
