Received same call. Caller indicated he had my credit card number (old and expired/cancelled) and that I didn't fulfill tour of time share and that it would go to collections. I never signed anything to do anything with any TimeShare, especially at the outdated Sahara in Las Vegas!

We received a call and they could only speak with my spouse and since I wasn't on the account he could not speak with me. Only wanted to know what time my spouse would be home. That he was trying to stop the account from going to collections.    He would not give me a number for my spouse to call back on because that would give me the information.  We are not past due on ANY bills so I checked on the internet and it said 224-795-7063 is a spoofed phone number.  Collection agencys do not use spoofed numbers they want you to be able to reach them so they can collect. He is supposed to call back today to reach my spouse.  Can't wait.

I received the exact same call on February 26th at around 8pm.  He was INCREDIBLY rude using the same threats about the call being recorded and taking us to court and possibly jail.  He used a different number though, 916-550-5060. Does anyone know how he had so much of my information?  Old credit card, dates of the trip, phone number, email, old address?

He said he had my crediccard number from 1999 I owed them $433.00 but if I did a time share in Las Vegas, we'de ge 4400.00. I asked for a telephone number, name, address, fax number, any thing at all from them and they denied me everything. They have called over 6 times to harass us about this issue. This is the third time they have tried to pull this scam on me. Contacting the Better Business Bureaus isn't doing anything (they just grab a different business license in a different state.)

IF YOU WANT SOMETHING TO HAPPEN TO THESE PEOPLE YOU SHOULD DO WHAT I DID:

Call the hotel/casino who's name they are using and ask for the LEGAL or MANAGEMENT department and tell them what is going on and refer them to the web pages about these numbers here!

They are the one's who are having their business name dragged through the mud by these scammers and they are the ones that can do something about it (SUE THEM!)

I tried that, and the bank and "michael Greene" 3-way called me, only to have Michael Greene screaming and threatening to take me to court.  The bank said, that since they are following through with their part(meaning I can take the vacation) that they technically didn't do me wrong yet. After Greene got off the phone, the bank rep. apologized and said she wished she could help me because she knew something wasn't right because of the way he screamed and threatened me.  What the bank doesn't understand is how they SCAMMED ME TO GET MY MONEY IN THE FIRST PLACE! If this happens to you, go to your state's Attorney General as well as Florida's, and they can help you.

Ha, I've become so absolutely furious with my situation, that all I can do now is laugh at these SCUMBALLS.  I just received my second threatening phone call from "Michael Greene"!  What do ya know, these Greenes seem to be mightly popluar in the SCUMBALL business.  These people are NOT going to get away with their scam.  I got my money back from Ramada and I will do the same from these SCUMBALLS.  Anyone who reads this, please do NOT fall for these.  I just read some nieve people's comments on another site, referring to Radisson as "nice people" and "you only have to pay the taxes!"..if they only knew.  I was scammed not only once by Ramada, but twice (Radisson).  Long story short, Radisson completely falsified themselves and claimed to be in part with Ramada and I thought I was paying my remaining balance to my initial package, NOT purchasing a new one.  They'll get theirs in the end, some way or another!

Event Reminder
I was a victim of this scam back in June 2008. I had got a phone call from a number in which I no longer have records of now. But a man named Tariq said he was calling to offer a upgrade to my Ramada Plaza Resort package. I thought it was lagit because he knew everything about my package and how much I had paid and owed. He said if I would just pay 433.88 total he would upgrade my vacation with Royal Caribbean Cruise line. I said okay because my outstanding balance was alot higher than that. I gave my debit card # and now that I am ready to book my honeymoon I look at the package it was mailed from First Class Travel Wise 8227 W Atlantic Blvd. Coral Springs Fl 33071 With phone number 1-877-948-8900! This looked like a real package but when I called I got no where. I will report them to the District Attorney and Dept of consumer Affairs. This is a BIG SCAM!!

If you are not satisfied with a services or product after placing it on a credit card, you have a right to contest the payment through the credit card company.  Call the credit card company and ask for a refund.  The card company will most likely post a tentative credit and then investigate your claim.  If they agree with you, you will get a refund.

Jan 21,2009, my husband got similar email from first class travel wise which claims that we have owed over 450 usd incurred by a hotel book through them withour taking a tour over 6 yrs ago. they threatened us to pay the amount to avoid a lawsuit or money collection, exactly like what every one has said. they do not want to tell me things until I pay the amount.  I asked them to give me several hour to find out information about them. they would not allow to.  I was scared of any lawsuit which is costly and exhausting. so I paid the amount using my credit card. after I have done research on them, I believe that I have been traped. now I want to get my money back and also I really want to stop them to avoid any more victims by them. we should take action. my email mingyuus@gmail.com

I received a similar call in December.  The rep on the phone claimed he was a lawyer, but later admitted that he isn't.  He also repeatedly threatened legal action and accused me of lying.  All of these are violations of FTC rules, so I filed a complaint with the South Florida BBB and the FTC.

They did eventually respond to the BBB, but not to me.  Their BBB response was, not surprisingly, another threat of legal action.

If this were legit, then the company would have gladly provided whatever info a reasonable person wanted to find out what's going on.  The fact that "First Class" instead just tries to intimidate people makes me suspect that it's a scam.

The company apparently uses several similar-sounding names and maintains multiple addresses and phone numbers... you can draw your own conclusions from that.

On January 9th, 2009 at 11:02 pm Helen said I just got a similar phone call from a Steve Cox tonight. He claimed that as part of the trip to Las Vegas Frontier Hotel in 2004 I had 48 months to complete a visit with a time share and since his records show that was not done, we now owe 400+ - but he will give us a refund of all but about $36 if we agree to resolve it tonight. He asked me to prove I had taken the tour because that is what the judge would require. He then proceeded with threats about law suits, reporting to all three collection agencies etc. Said he was recording my phone call - did not ask persmission - just informed me that my tone would not sound good to a judge. He did forward by e-mail a dummied copy of an e-mail with the wrong $ amounts for the trip and it didn?t even state the dates of the reservation. There was an attachment that purports to be from First Class Cruise Vacations Inc. 8227 W. Atlantic Blvd Coral Springs, FL 33071 that states Terms and Conditions of Your Package With Us. This is the first that I heard of this company so I did not agree to pay it. I will be forwarding a complaint to the Attorney General of Nevada, Missouri and Florida. This is definitely a scam and unfortunately some people get scared and pay or they wouldn?t continue to try these tactics.

On January 10th, 2009 at 10:55 am flintwindsor said When you post please add the phone number(s) that contacted you because these guys keep changing the numbers and names they use. Also on the caller id they will call from different states. If they change their phone numbers it makes it harder to track them.

If you look on their sites, they claim to be accredited to certain companies which is also a falicy. Some companies are taking action against them for this.

BUT still too many people are falling for this scam and it is very profitable for them to continue the scam.

On January 10th, 2009 at 5:54 pm Helen said I received a telephone call from 877-948-8900.

On January 13th, 2009 at 2:02 am Dan said I received a phone call tonight from the same guys saying that I owed them $433 and change for a trip back in 2003 to Las Vegas. After yelling and arguing with them for about an hour they scammed me into paying the money. I did not want to ruin my credit. I should have read this site before I payed them the money. I will try and see if I can get a refund from my credit card company. The scammers said they were recording the conversation so when you dispute it to your credit card company they have a recording of you saying you agree to the charges.

I feel really stupid they got me again?.About 3 months ago this same company called me about an Alaskan cruise that was only $833 and I did not have to attend a timeshare. Well when I received my paperwork there was nothing stating that I do not have to attend a timeshare. I think I will call and pretend I am a happy customer to see if they can give me something in writing stating that I do not have to attend a time share or they will extort another $400+ out of me. Also there was a $99 booking fee and another $499 fee per person for ?port charges, service fees and taxes?. Well so far they scammed me for 833+433+99 or $1365!!!! I will try and get the 433 refunded by my C.C. company and take it in the shorts for the other $900+. I am going to fill out some paperwork with the BBB and anyone else I can find. I wish they called me for the cruise tomorrow and I could have saved $900. I am not even going to book it with them and get some other fee and another $500 fee in 5 years. I hope these guys spend the next 20 years in prision with Buba for extorting all the fine people on this site.
Here are all the phone numbers they used when they called me(3 times)
224-795-7063, 954-603-7953, 518-772-0675

Has anyone gone on the timeshare and actually got back their $433? I did not see anyone say that. I would assume If someone did go they would say by going you are now responsible for another $350 or something. This sounds like a case of extorsion. ?you pay us $433 or we will report you to collections and ruin you credit?

Has anyone ever had this turn up on their credit?
I also did not see anything about going to a timeshare for my 2003 Vegas trip. If i did I would not have gone. I guess the next time anyone tries to sell me something, I am hanging up??.This whole situation sucks?
I will keep reading and post anything that happens to me.

On January 13th, 2009 at 9:34 am flintwindsor said You have been scammed BAD??.NO you will not get your money or trips or anything from these scammers, it is nice people like you for the reason these people are continuing to scam??.make a report to the following and to the BBB and call your credit card company and dispute ALL charges even though it has been awhile, maybe they will protect you, tell them you been scammed. On January 13th, 2009 at 3:59 pm Dan said Update:

I just got the phone with my credit card company(Chase) and they are refunding me my money. I am now going to see if I can call my other credit card about getting the $833 back. It was back in July of 08 so I will see what happens.

I also filed a complaint at the BBB and the FTC. I was so mad after getting harrased that I was up to 2:30 a.m. to see if there was any other agency that can shut these guys down.
I would urge anyone that payed these jerks money to try and get a refund from your credit card company.

We need to stay on top of this and get the word out there to every agency we can, these guys has been at it for a very long time, I have personally tracked them as far back as 2005. I am surprised your credit card would not help you, I would obtain a new credit card, MY credit card WOULD remove this credit immediatly! Please turn this in, and if you turn into any new agencies please post it for others to use. I am so sorry you were scammed.

Please, if you want to stop these guys, you must file on-line or off-line with the Better Business Bureau (http://www.seflorida.bbb.org/BusinessReport.aspx?CompanyID=9002124 or http://www.seflorida.bbb.org/BusinessReport.aspx?CompanyID=92012243) and then with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (http://app1.800helpfla.com/cswebcomplaints/FileComplaint.aspx license number ST36484). I have been investigating these companies and have acquired a lot of information on them. They seem to know how the BBB works and appear to constantly work on getting their rating above F. I have watched their rating change as many as 5 times in one day. Adding your complaint to the BBB may help slow them down. They may insist on handling it outside of BBB, but I would keep it inside of the BBB so they can see what these companies are doing.
The second thing these companies seem to be doing, is pursuing new groups of innocent victims. I have had all of the contacts from these companies listed here contact me demanding payment. They have already accused me of acting fraudulently and told me that I would be turned into collections back in November. I think they know they can get into trouble by submitting these things to collections, because they still haven?t submitted my so called account to anyone.
I think it is so sad that so many people are paying off these companies and hope others will help fight back and aid the authorities in shutting them down. If you need any help contact me at flintwindsor@gmail.com.

My call came tonight from 877-948-8900, Steven Cox, First Class Travel Wise.  He said I booked a trip to Frontier Hotel in Las Vegas in 2004 and since he had no record of my taking a tour of the time shares within 48 months I owed $400, but if I paid $436 tonight, he would refund $400.  He forwarded a copy of an e-mail showing that the package balance was paid and attachment with Terms and Conditions of Your Package With Us.

The company was shown as First Class Cruise Vacations, Inc.
8227 W. Atlantic Blvd. Coral Springs, FL 33071
and their web address is www.firstclasstravelwise.com.
The e-mail was from eholidays@edelphia.net.

I denied owing anything and refused to pay.  He threatened a lawsuit and reports to three credit bureaus and said he was recording our phone call to submit to the judge.  I submitted consumer complaints to the Attorney General Offices of Missouri, Florida and Nevada.

I got a phone call from them (First Class Travel Wise)last night. They said I owe them $433 because I did not do 90 minutes Time Share Tour when I stayed at a hotel in Las Vegas in 2004. I asked them to send me any signed documents as a proof. They sent me some kind of reservation number and claimed that I agreed with the terms and conditions to do the Time share tour when I booked the hotel on line and the reservation# is the proof. They also had my credit card number and my home address info.

They so persisted that I must resolve the problem right then and there otherwise they would send my case to a collection agency and I have to pay for fees plus 11% interest rate. They also tried to frighten me that my credit will be ruined and they can take the case to the court and I will lose because of the proof they have on hand. I told them to go ahead and I see them in the court. I hung up. 5 minutes later, I got another phone call but the number was blocked. The guy said he called from Colletion department, he said he would like to help me settle the case out of the court so I would not face the serious charges (not too sure what charges they tried to scare me of). I just told them I will fight with them in the court and hung up.

What these people said and did are so terrible. Harrsing innocent people is a crime. They need to be STOPED!

They asked for us by name and said we owe $$$ for not attending a timeshare meeting when we stayed at a hotel in Las Vegas 4 years ago. They were argumentative, very persistent. Very creepy and suspicious. We asked what company he's calling from and he wouldn't answer.
