Called the number back and it said it was disconnected and to check the number again.

Man asking to hear my voice and texting me stalker-sounding messages about our future together

They got on the internet through a dating service called matchdoctor.com.  They said that were from Lafayette, Louisiana but originally from Greece.  He said that he was in a mineral business and was in Africa at the moment.  After, about a month of communicating on the internet he wanted to call me.  I allowed him to call my cell phone and he called from 225-341-8044 and also from an international number +233249498008.  He said he was having problems with his banking account and asked me for money.  I hung up and knew at that moment it was a scam.  I would like to be able to figure out who this guy is.  Do not accept calls from this number and if there are any suggestions on how to find out who this person is through the international number please let me know.  I have contacted the phone company and they can tell me the 225-341-8044 is a landline from baton rouge, louisiana.  The associate with at&t suggested that it might be a pay phone number.  They can not give me anymore inforamation as to even where it might be located.  He gave his name as Mike Koralishn in Lafayette, Louisiana.  I researched that name and there is a Mike Koralishn living in Lafayeete even in the same age range as 61 and also gave the address.  I am 59 and it sounds like to me that he might be trying to prey on single older women.

Yes there are two in Lafayette.  One is a dear friend of mine.  He's a straight, stand up guy and not in some foreign scam.  His mom lives here as well whom he sees regularly.  His sister also lives here.  IT is not the same person.  In fact, this scammer is causing problems for my friend Mike.  I wish somebody would find the dirt bag that's conning women out of money and land his sorry a** in jail.  You couldn't ask for a better friend than my buddy.  So, good luck to you searchers out there in locating this creep, but you're lookin in the wrong place if you're looking at the Mike I know in Lafayette.

I met Mike Koralishn On Cupid .com. I talked with him for about 1 month,then he wanted to go to yahoo instant messaging. Which I did after a short time he said he needed some money to activate his credit card in Ghana. I told him I didn't have any money and he said a hundred dollars would help. I did not send him any money. Then he got angry and said I thought you loved me. I told him I never said I love you and I was not going to talk to him anymore. I wish something could be done about him. He is preying on single women.I hope enough people read what we have written and not get mixed up with him.

Aug. 08, 2008  I also just got done communicating with this person. Met him on Cupid.com Same crap as listed about about Africa, got robbed, going to come here and meet me. Loves me. Boy wait til he gets my next not so caring ecard. Ladies stick together. I have saved the information he has been sending me so if the law officials are interested let me know on this site. First time I can say this is one great way of helping people (women).

got the same scam info as the rest.his wife died ....son in england.going to africa.he was on cupid.com.soon as he said he was going to the bank before he left..I knew...there are two korlishn in lafayette that according to the phone info are his parents.maybe he would like a call to his parents or the police.

He was on cupid.com with me. I just knew he was trying to get money out of me. His story was that he was in Ghana to buy gold. Got robbed, needed money to create an account so he could get his money from the Traveler's Checks. Unfortunately, I continue to chat on line with him and he began quoting Bible scriptures and I gave in and sent him money. The next thing was that he was going to come meet me and pay back the money. On the day he was to make arrangements to fly here, he had an auto accident supposely caused by a heart attack. He is in a coma and in critical condition in some hospital in Ghana. His client Evans Korkor was the one that telephoned me about the accident. Haven't heard anymore since yesterday morning. I felt so bad about the accident that I had our church staff put him on our prayer list. Today, I started doing more research on Mike Koralishn and found this web site. I wish I could have found this site about a month ago. He has been contacting your people the same time he has contacted me. He says his wife, Vernoica, died about 5 yrs ago. He has been in the US for a little over a year. Has a son, David, going to school in England. I haven't decided if I want to report him to our police department or not. I didn't lose a lot of money, but I know he should be stopped. Any other time I was searching for information I just found that he lived in Lafayette as he said. He told me that he lived in an apartment on Wakefield Dr. Any suggestions as to how we can stop this scam?

I saw an add on the internet stated free yorkies and to reply via email...me and some of my co-workers replied...when i replied an email from a Flora Gates came back stated she and her husband had found some job and it required from them been away from home all day and that they didn't believe in selling pets and they were trying to find good homes for the pets...the email went on to state she was from Califorina and she would pay the depoist for the pet to be sent and i would have to pay the airline fee...the # stated above and it sounded like an Vitemainse person and i couldn't understand the language.so when my co-worker received the exact same email we decided to do some investigation...come to find out they have a scheme going around with a free yorkie ad..just to let everyone know the # is part of a scheme do not except calls from that #.

GOT A CALL FROM THIS # EVERYDAY AROUND 4PM, THINK IT IS A SECURITY GUARD CALLING BY THE NAME OF BETTY WILLIAMS, LIKES TO CALL MEN

I received 2 calls this a.m. Sounded like a foreigner from Africa.  When I called back the number registered on my cell phone, the recording said the number has been disconnected.

This is very annoying to say the least! Calls are continually coming in to my mother's home, First it's somethning they want her to purchase then it will be she's won the lottery and only has to pay so much to get it sent to her. They called me this morning at 6:00 claiming to be from the IRS.  When you call the phone number back you get a message that the service is disconnected.

I received a call from this number today, 225-341-8044.  My friend is on vacation in Mexicao and this number appeared when he called.  I can only assume that the number is used to route international calls,

I got the same call from this number in the midnight. When I called it back, it didn't answer because it is out of service. The guy who uses this number really disturbed my sleep!

I answer and it is some other country accent like Nigeria.  They ask if my wife's name is blah blah.....and we say who is this and they hang up.  The call back says number is disconnected.  I did trace the number back to Baton Rouge, La.

Same here. Keep getting a call from this number. Each time I call back I get a recording that it's not a working number. WTF?
