Call without leaving a message. A call back got a recorded message about a "MagicJack" customer. This should be a red flag to anyone with common sense that it is a scam.

Come on people...if the number is not identified via caller ID, they don't leave a message and/or you can't get through (for those foolish enough to call the number back) then there is a 99.9% chance it is a scam. Also, there are a lot of loopholes in the "Do Not Call" legislation that allows political affiliated groups and non-profits to legally call you. Think about it for just a second. If it is important, they will leave a message. Why would they hide their caller ID?

If you are tired of getting these calls and want to take some meaningful action, call your U.S. congressional representatives and demand that they do something. Nothing will change unless the law is changed. The law will not change unless legislators are pressured into changing it. Ask if they support the law as it now stands? If they do, vote them out of office. That's how it works.

This number called me on yesterday and when I answered they hung up. When I called the number back it says that it's a Magic Jack Subscriber, but no one answers. Weird.

They keep calling my number--I block them but they still get through-   they won't stop calling-very annoying! I am also on Do Not Call List- frustrating!

I keep getting harassing phone calls from this number

Been getting phone calls from this number too, 225-448-1398, I called Troop L here in Mandeville, and they said that Louisiana State trooper have nothing to do with this organisation

They don't never say anything so I just hang up.

I get freaking calls from this number at least 6 times a day.

I get at least 5 calls a day from this #, I have blocked it and it still gets through. Also, on the do not call list.

I've had several calls from this number but have not answered it. I see from People Finders that this should be reported.

They have called me 11 times in the past 3 days

I am also having the same annoying problem. I donated to the firefighter one ONE time and now I get phone calls from every kind of organization from the state troopers to dying kids in Africa or some sh*t. I tell them to take my number off their list but they wont'... Is there anything that can be done about this? You can't report them to the Do Not Call website because donations don't count as solicitations although obviously that's what this is. I donated to the fire department and then a few weeks later they called and asked me to donate again. I agreed but when the time came I didn't have the money. They called and verbally harassed me demanding my credit card number so they could process the donation over the phone.

I frequently get calls from this number. I never answer the phone when they call. When I check the message, it's always a busy signal tone. Very annoying.

Calls my cell every day.  My cell is for family and close friends only and I dont know how they got my number.  Never leaves a msg.  I never answer.

I made mistake of making donation few years back and now they call every couple months and i am starting to get pissed.............. I also checked them out was informed that it was a scam...............

This number calls my home three or four times a day (at least).  All through the day, during family dinner time.  ANNOYING!!!!

Every single day I get a call.  When I answer a recording  tells me to hold on.  The State Troopers will never get another dime from me!

I received a call from (225) 448-1398. The man on the phone said he was from the american association for state troopers. I donated once and now they call my phone at all hours. Avoid this number!!!

Men call and ask for money for state trooper association . he was very forceful in his speaking, so i called my neighbor Who is a state trooper and he checked on it. He told me it is a scam !!!!! Also today they called me back and was extremely rude because I didn't send any money !!!!

This needs to stop.

This number is impersonating a call from a magic jack phone.  I contacted Magic jack and they said that every one should report this number to their local police department to have it investigated and I have done just that.

Call from these people several times no answer from them want it to stop, it's annoying
