If this is really the Police out of Baton Rouge why are they calling Canada?????? We have our own cops who call for money. Think I'd support my own cops instead of some that are hundreds of miles away.....Really get a job.

I have been getting a fax number (225-678-5379) sent to my phone line and I can't get rid of it. Is there anything that can be done to ID who the caller is?

These people call over and over...no message, no idea...

Man was calling on behalf of the Louisiana Police Association and he wanted me to make a donation.  This was the second call from him since last week since I told him that I was too busy to talk to him at that time.

I have received calls like this in the past; but I have never made a donation.

Got a couple of calls lately. Will NEVER answer.

they will send u something in the mail if u ask them to, which we have recieved & sent $15 to like a month ago& they just called back saying they havent recieved it. thats when i decided to look up the # and found all of this... I used *69 to get the # but when u call it  back it says something about "Magic Jack service has not been setup yet" ... Idk its very strange & disappointing that someone maybe posing as police officers to get $...

just had the same type of call.. and yeap we donated & they claimed they didnt get it, so i checked the number& cmae across numerous sites saying the number they called from is fraudulant & just "spam".

I am sure this is scam. Just tell him you got the wrong number and block the number. Maybe later he will call with another number, but this is best we can do.

SCAM - claims to be from Louisiana Police Association but it's not, just another SCAM - I usually don't answer the phone if I don't know the number but did this time. Shows up as "wireless caller" on caller ID.

This is a scam because the state police does not call asking for donations!

Call from Louisiana State Police, even gave me an address. Then asked, how are you today. I just flat a** told him I am not interested and I hung up!

Well I know for a fact that this number does not have anything to with police pledges because I work with the police department and I am sure that they would have personally collected pledges from us.

This is a scam. They have a variety of numbers that they use and I believe that they are getting our information from computers.

These losers or calling my job and when I answer they hang up. They sometimes call back with a different number a few minutes later. I went on that website that allows you to block up to three numbers, but these scamers seem to have 100 assigned to them. How can they get away with this harassment?

I got a phone call from this number today.  I answered it and a man asked for "June" I said you have the wrong number and he sounded surprised and said it is?  I said yes.  Well to keep my phone number private without paying the phone company a monthly fee I have my number listed in the phone book under the name "June ____"   Not sure who it is but know for a fact they were either scamming or soliciting.

Yup, it is a scam call.  I answered today and it was from a wireless phone with no ID.  They guy claims he was with the Louisiana Police Association.  I find it strange that they would not use a land line and have an ID on the caller ID if they really wanted support.  I noticed another caller on this list got the same call.  I too have *67 behind that number to block them.
