I just checked Alex Hudson out now and may have some more info of interest. I have a vehicle for sale in Ontario and my phone number is VERY similar to 226-444-0055. "Alex Hudson" contacted me by email asking about the vehicle and requesting high levels of detail - on the basis that his "client" would need this information before making a decision. Very bizarre for buying a $15,000 vehicle. He wanted to know about dealership information, dates of purchase, was it insured, etc. All not too over-the-top in terms of collecting information. But I strongly suspect the next round will be asking further details about each of those issues including policy numbers etc, for some reason "his client" will need.

Also, his written English clearly indicated it isn't his first language. He has a NY phone number.

Recieved a total of 9 calls from these (bleeps) the last 3 days 6 of which were today.One was yesterday at 4:16 am.Only today did I realize that all these were from same number...253-820-3089. I googled this number and it says it is a cellular # fromTacoma,Washington.. The last 3 times I did answer and got the same BS story...Global Maintainance on behalf of Microsoft. PC completely infected ..Are you sitting in front of your computer?...I'll put you through to my superviser...Blah Blah Blah...Same crap as everyone else has posted with the same call back # 226-444-0055. At the end of it all I was getting really loudly verbal when they couldn't answer my questions so I just hung up.Luckily I knew someone that had gotten pulled into this scam...it's true they do sound somewhat convincing especially to my friend who was 81.Not sure how wide spread this is but I am in Ontario, Canada. Hopefully my yelling and hang up will deter them from calling anymore. I had called the police and they gave me a # to call...1-888-495-8501 which is RCMP Fraud Busters but can only be called during normal business hours Mon-Fri. TAKE A MOMENT AND REPORT TO THEM IF U ARE IN CANADA>

Well yeah they do have all your info and if I was you I would disconnect your computer now from internet that way that can't have access to your info.  Then I would beef up your firewall and delete any valuable info on there, bank info credit card ect.  Change your password as well, you can also download keyscrambler as well which will help.  In the future don't ever give anyone access to your computer, unless you know them personally.

I'm in New Zealand and just had an interesting phone call ... actually 3 phone calls from 24/7 windows support ... all had strong asian accents and there was a lot of noise in the background ...
Call#1 ~ a woman claiming she had been alerted by the IRS tht my computor is infected with serious malicious files ... (been here before, lol) she couldnt answer my questions so she put me onto her supervisor, a woman named Jaz Smith .... she too could not answer my questions and got rather snarly when I said I would fix it myself ... i did however get a contact phone number from her before I hung up ... 12264440055 ...
Call#2 ~ Jaz Smiths supervisor again ... she again tried to get me to do what she wanted and again I asked questions ... ones she couldnt answer and at tht point she told me she would lock my computor from her end so I hung up.
Call#3 ~ the supervisor of the supervisor of the supervisor, a man named Kevin Black ... when I asked him for a contact number he told me he couldnt provide tht until I made a one time payment ...

It was as that point that i told him not to call me back and hung up again ...

I got basically the same message...said he was calling from Microsoft. Hard to understand and passed me on to his supervisor who told me they were getting messages and there was a very urgent matter that had to be dealt with right away.

I got the number to call back and they gave me 1-226-444-0055. Said to ask for Albert, employee number MS076.

Same problem, just received a call from 24/7 Windows dept, Microsoft, from a man with a strong asian accent claiming his name is ricky vorhosen . I said I didn't have time to speak to him and requested a phone number to ring back, he pleaded with me to ring back 1-226-444-0055 and said he wasn't joking. Scam written all over this.

I have had the same call, just now. In order to know if he is really located in some Microsoft office, I asked his telephon number, he gave me 1-226-444-0055. So, I found your messages and understood that this is a cheater.

Call display showed 975-453-9831. Callback # given was 226-444-0055. Meek sounding woman with South Asian accent said company is 24/7 Windows Tech Support. Claimed they are MS certified.

I got the same call, speaking with 4 different people about my computer.  I don't know what they did inside my computer but they also got my credit info and after reading all of your  notes now I am really worried about them steeling further oney than the $149 they requested for the transaction(services) they say they did for me today....  They said no one could speak French to me so with different accents and speaking fast(especially one lady at first...though to understand the purpose of their call...

i got the same phone call today.  indian guy said it was an 'emergency' that my system was infected and he needed me to turn on my computer so he can help the situation.  i asked where he was callign from - 24/7 microsoft support, new york city.  he then continues to tell me to turn on my computer and got very angry when i didn't reply right away.  he transfers me to his superior who also continues to tell me the same story. i asked for her name and number - estella 1-226-444-0055.  my caller id showed - 718-377-9189.  this lady told me to look on my keyboard for 'ctrl' key and press 'r' at the same time.  she then asked me what do i see.  and i told her a 'run' window popped up.  she told me to type www.ammyy.com - which i did NOT do.  i GOOGLED  it instead.  first thing that pops up SCAM.  the lady on the phone continues to ask me what do isee.. i told her i see a scam.  and she tells me i must be mistaken and continues FROM THE BEGINNING 'CTRL + R' KEY. after telling her she's full of s*** i hung up.  how the HELL did they get our phone numbers and names?  wtf.

He called me too , his name was Mike Watson, he SAID HE was technical support for Microsoft and that if I didnt let him log into my computer and fix the problem I would have police come to my door because my computer was causing problems on their server and I will never be able to have internet service again because if I didnt follow his instructions he would shut down my connection. I googled microsoft canada support....but I think i called another scammer who wanted me to go to another site....with logmein123.com and was going to give me a 6 digit code to log into my computer but it was an exe file which I didnt open and when i told him i wont open an exe file he got mad at me.......I was on the phone with one and had the other on my cell phone and I hung up on both of them lolol No one has called me back lololol BE CAREFUL THEY SOUND VERY AUTHENTIC........ALWAYS GO BACK TO MICROSOFT ORIGINAL SITE WHERE YOU WILL NOTICE THEY DO NOT HAVE TECHNICAL SUPPORT CONTACT, YOU HAVE TO SEARCH FOR IT

Same #  1-226-444-0055 guys with Indian accent says calling from Microsoft for Microsoft computers.
I told him I didn't have a Microsoft computer but a Microsoft Operating System.  He says in this Indian accent, oh yes oh yes sir, Microsoft operating systm is what I mean.  Ask his name, Alex (something long) HUDSON.  Sure, Alex Hudson from India....Blah blah blah computer viruses, puts me to other guy same accent says Technician. I'm laughing by this time what's the virus name I ask, new born virus he says called "HIV" .. really I say.  After fuk* around with him and seeing him get a little upset I told him I didn't believe him, nothing wrong with my computer, he's pushy saying to press my windows logo on keyboard, I told him the other guy said they are from Microsoft.  He says no he's not, calling from agency who works for Windows operating system.  Said the other guy (Alex) was new and didn't know what he was talking about.  This one was the 'veteran' he knew how to make this happen.    I told him I didn't believe him and would be calling Microsoft Co. directly about their Windows product and he hung up on me after I told him I'd be calling Microsoft.  I didn't press the microsoft logo and I wouldn't do a thing with these people if I was you.    I felt as safe talking to these people as the callers are speaking to "Peggy" from the Capital One Commercial.

Same with us... man had heavy accent (sounded Pakistani or Indian) claiming to be from Microsoft, wouldn't give his name.  First call came from 618-465-8138.  Told him I couldn't understand him.  Asked if I was in front of my computer, wanting to guide me in 'fixing problem'.  Repeated that I couldn't understand him.  Asked if I could call him back.  Said 'I'll transfer you to my supervisor'.  Another gent came on line, because of my reluctance, gave me the 1-226-444-0055.  Before I called that number, the first person called again, this time from 607-767-0115.  I had started checking these numbers and told him that I thought they were running quite a scam and hung up.  Hasn't called me back.

I received a similar call yesterday from someone who said they were with Microsoft and they were getting messages that my system is infected. after a lengthy and he said I would have to renew my licsence or they would suspend it immediately I told them I wanted to confirm this and call them back.  I did call them back to see if the number was active and hung up they called me back to see if I had called I said I dialed the wrong number.  The following is the information they provided.

My dad got the same thing today and they got his credit card number.  We cancelled the card but were told that he was responsible for the charge, even if he was scammed.  Did they do anything else to your computers?  Wanting to know so that it doesn't happen to anyone else.

Same Scam!  Heavy accented guy passed off to a slicker speaking guy.  Asked to go to www.logmein123.com.  I asked for his number instead to call back later - he gave the 226-444-0055 and said he was Rodrick Jones (good Asian name.)  I asked why it wasn't a 1-800 number and he said this was a direct link to the customer support.

They just called me!! Is it a scam or not? I asked for a number so I could think about it before letting him remotely access my computer. I was not about to give him access through the website he directed me to open. Yikes!! Sometimes it can be so hard to tell if people are legit.
He called from 630-690-2396 and told me to call him back at 226-444-0055. He even told me that his Microsoft employee ID is MS0067.
It just seems so wrong for them to be calling me instead of the other way around.

Caller said he was from New York and calling from Microsoft because my computer was infected and had me log onto my computer and punch in a bunch of numbers and letters!!  Worried now it was a scam and that he has access to all my information!

Just happened to my friend like 10 mins ago. He disconnected then called Visa to stop payment. They're pretty slick...

Same thing except he called himself Steve Smith and called from 510-943-3040.

I see there is allot more history on this 510 number.

The no displayed as unknown number He spoke with a strong asian accent - and spoke quickly - difficult to understand.  I ask him to slowly repeat himself.  

He then said 'we have been receiving error messages from your computer - and it is starting to annoy us and that is why I am calling you today!.

I ask him what his name is... replied "calling from Microsoft" - again asked for his name and which office from Microsoft - he said New York office and his name is Roger Smith!.

Could you please put your computer on so that I can help fix your problem!  I ask him for his phone again... so that I could return his call.  He ignored me again, then said 1 - double 2, 64, double 4, double 0, double 5 - ask him for no in numbers... 1 226-444-0055 in New York -  did not call this no.

area code belongs to Ontario Ca.  Kitchener, London Windsor.   the 800 version .i.e. 800-444-0055, is a scam no as well!
