I'm not sure exactly how it works but this number shows up when somebody calls you from one of those phones called magic jack. Ya know, the one that hooks up threw your computer and makes the calls using the Internet some how

Get a call from these numbers pick up the phone and set it on the table, go back about 10 minutes later and hang it up.

Recieved call this AM @ 6:20.  No one on line.  No message left.  Call display showed call recieved at 1:14 PM 04/14.

Received ph call from 226-663-8321..unknown company...I did not answer.

Call your bank and cancel that  card.  Your bank can look at your account and flag any questionable activity.

Et ça continue que t'appuie ou pas...
Aujourd'hui, tout es $$$$ surtout vos infos personnelles. Les appels avec agents humains semblaient venir de l'Inde en anglais 2ème langue officielle au pays.

Dites vous ceci: Aucune banque ou institution détenant vos infos personnelles
ne doit et ne vas Jamais vous demander des précisions comme un no de visa ou Mcard ou aucune
Carte de crédit encore moins le no de sécurité à l'endos !!!!  Ne donnez pas d'indices du genre êtes vous de Visa?? C'est certain qu'ils vont dire oui. Servez vous d'un nom de cie que vous n'avez rien pour les prendre en défaut si vous tenez à vérifier la provenance de l'appel,  et je peux vous assurer que ce n'est

Avec un simple concours de nouilles sidekicks.....de knorr, j'ai peut être transmis à leurs tiers partis (en Inde??) mes infos perso incluant nos tel maison et cell pour qu'ils puissent m'appeler
pour me demander comment dépenser 25,000.00$ ( en dettes contractées par ursupation d'identités ! )

Knorr Canada m a laissée un no de tel et si j'ai pas réponse c'est Unilever.ca la
maison mère qui est proprio.  Dans ton cas uncle bens appartient à mars.com du US...

They just called me and the number looked phishy so I let it rang. Sometimes I'm in the mood to waste scammers time and do it often but not today, I'm sick!

This number was on my phone but the caller was unknown . I tried calling back and got a message saying that the number you haved reached is not in service

I got a call yesterday during the supper-hours as well. I did not answer. When I attempt to call back the number is not in service. I am on the DNCL and these call have not slowed down. I'm pretty sure they just use a rolling dialer. If the company was legit they would respect the privacy that we requested when we enrolled on the DNCL. So any type of telemarketing call I get I hang up immediately

Nuisance call - offering to lower credit card rates -The Government should legislate against these automated nuisance calls. The National Do Not Call list is a joke!  I registered and still continue to receive calls like this one.

nous avons recu un appel en anglais et l'homme ne voulait absolument pas parler en francais.  Il m'a demandé si mon mari avait une carte visa et plus tard une carte master card ...   il m'a dit que je devais parler en anglais mais a interrompu la conversation en riant ... !   je vais faire vérifier ce numéro de téléphone et le dénoncer afin de savoir pourquoi on nous appelle.

Received a call from this number a short time ago today.  I don't answer calls from "unknown caller."  No message left anyway.  Other comments: 1. Only the credit card issuer, like a bank, can lower the interest rate on your card.  Anyone who says something like that they will work with your bank to lower your interest rate is a scammer!!  2. Asking or telling the scammer to put you on their "do not call list" is a waste of time.  Do you really think the bad guys will listen to you? The Canadian "do not call list" only applies to numbers in Canada.  So, if a person is calling from India, they can or will laugh at you, swear, tell you off and say other nasty things, and you cannot do a thing about it as they are calling from outside Canada.  3. Also, where do you think the telemarketers get their dnc lists from? An organization can "acquire" from the telephone co a sequential list of numbers to call or a block of addresses.  These could be ways that those with unlisted numbers get called.  Other thoughts: If a telemarketer works for a charity, how much money does that charity receive through that method? If a charity accepts cc, how much does it/they receive?  Just my 2 cents worth--for what it's worth.

GOT A CALL FROM 226-663-8231 AND DID NOT ANSWER.  I CALLED THE NUMBER BACK AND GOT A MESSAGE THAT THIS PHONE NUMBER IS NOT IN SERVICE.

What a pain in the a**.  Why are these scam marketers legally permitted??

Been calls from this number early morning and really late at night I do not answer and they don't leave a message sick of it.

He said that I could lower my interest on my credit card Visa and master card. So I have none of those. So I no he is mistaking (Fraud)

Ma tante âgée a reçu plusieurs appels de ce numéro dont un aujourd'hui, elle n'a pas répondu car elle croit que quelqu'un a trafiqué sa ligne téléphonique, quand elle a appeler au numéro, un message disait que la ligne n'était pas en service, ne comprend pas que c'est du télémarketing indésirable. Conclusion elle ne veut plus de téléphone dans la maison. Bande d'imbéciles qui effraient les gens vulnérables.

Je viens de recevoir le même message.  J'ai fait *69 et j'ai trouvé le même numéro.  Ça semble louche.
