I recd a call from the same person, but said they were collecting for a client in Nevada for a pay day loan I had back in 2001.  I told them to stop calling my family and that I was reporting them to the FCC.  This is a scam and they have been calling my kids cell phones too.  My kids were not even born back then.  Ive had it.  I also reported them to the Do Not call registry.  Ive been called on the same thing from three different states including Florida, New York and now GA.   Im fed up.

Please report them if you get a call. This has to stop.  Not only are they calling on something extremely old, but also on something that was paid in full to the original creditor.

THIS IS A COLLECTOR FOR VERY OLD (7 YRS +) PAY DAY LOANS. THEY CALL FROM MANY DIFFERENT NUMBERS ALL OVER DIFFERENT STATES. DO NOT GIVE THEM THE TIME OF DAY. THEY WILL HURT YOUR CREDIT BECAUSE THESE OLD DEBTS ARE FALLING OFF YOUR CREDIT REPORTS AND THIS IS WHAT THEY DO TO MAKE MONEY AND START IT AS A NEW COLLECTION. THIS PERSON CALLED HERSELF A FRAUD INVESTIGATOR FOR STATE OF CA BY THE NAME OF JULIE BERRY. IF YOU CALL FROM A BLOCKED NUMBER IT SAYS THEY WILL NOT TAKE THE CALL RIGHT NOW. IF YOU UNBLOCK IT- SOMEONE WILL ANSWER. SHE SAID SHE NEEDED TO TAKE A STATEMENT ON VOICE MAIL SHE LEFT AND THAT IF I DIDNT CALL BACK I LOSE MY RIGHTS FOR COURT HEARING. SOUNDS QUITE OFFICIAL TILL YOU CALL AND FIND OUT ITS ALL FRAUD AND BS SO MAKE SURE YOU FILE A COMPLAINT EVERYWHERE YOU CAN BECAUSE THESE PEOPLE CALL FROM ALL OVER THE STATES.
