Same thing, message came from 866-930-9889 option5 ext 5.. This "Michael Green" said he was calling about a hotel stay in Las Vegas, back in February 2001.  Again, he had the last 4 numbers of an old credit card.  Said I had signed to look a timeshare which I did NOT.  Had a call about 5 years ago concerning this and now again..almost 10 years later.  "Michael" was very unprofessional and said if I did not call him back within 2 hours, he was going to call my credit card company, etc. etc. etc.  I hung up on him and he called back right away and said he was willing to do a "settlement" today only and that if I did not comply he would open up a fraud case.  He said it was not acceptable that I hung up on him.. What a joke,  He wasn't even using proper english.  Scam for sure.  Wish they could catch this scumbag.

Same scam! I stayed at the Sierra Hotel in LV in 2003. They harrassed me last fall and they just started again. They say I owe them $496 and $400 will be returned if I attend a Time Share brief. These b*****ds are scum of the earth. The guy Randall Duarte is really over the top and tries hard to become your friend. I can't imagine how a person like this can look in the mirror every day?

Glad to hear that this is a scam. I got a call at work this evening from a Brandon Kemp at Leisuretime Worldwide. He and his supervisor, Randall Duarte, did a pretty convincing sales job about a vacation I'd taken at the Sahara Hotel in Vegas in 2004. The dates, credit card number and my name and address were all accurate. They even emailed me (from a "Joshua Mills") a supposed confirmation email from 2004, with the legal fine print (paragraph 6) that states that you owe $400 if you fail to take a timeshare tour within 48 months of your hotel booking.

The Leisuretime website looks legitimate, too, with the same legal copy.

They're quit aggessive in their tactics. They want you to settle the outstanding bill or they promise to go to collections in the morning. What a-holes!

Thanks for all your posts, people!

I just got a call from these people today (11/09/09). Also, about 8 months ago. They claimed that I owed them money for failing to attend a timeshare when I booked the Vegas hotel via Leisure Time about 5 years ago.

Called ID is listed as 512-501-6493.

I have also gotten the same calls-threatening collection and being nasty. one of them even called my husband "sweet lips", if you can believe that! The number that called us tonight came up as Glendale CA and was 8185724305.How do we go about making sure these guys get what is coming to them? We are calling the State's attorney for Iowa tomorrow to file a complaint, and if anyone can shut these guys down, it's Tom Miller.

All the same:  1-229-380-3974, 1-888-210-2221, 1-877-429-9990, 1-386-438-9087, 1-702-421-7510, 1-972-220-8594

Names:  Eric Goldstein, Randall Duarte, Steve Cox, Joshua Mills, Michael Guerra, Michael Anderson, Stephanie Partin

All these numbers are used by the same scam.  Note, the price you "have to pay" goes up over the years.  Don't give them any info, definitely don't give them your credit card number, hang up on them whenever you want.  They can't hurt your credit, or sue you, or anything else they threaten.

This entry said it all:

Michael - 30 Oct 2009
(replying to Kate - 5 Oct 2009's entry right above it)

This Mr. Tomas from Leisure Time Worldwide, which is the same company First Class Travel Wise also known FCTW.  They say they will send your account to collections, but they can't.  They do not have proof to do any of these actions.  People need to be warned.  They have over 25,000 different names and numbers to call.  They have all your info like your address, credit card number, and name!!  But do not believe them; they are lying to you.  There is no Micheal Anderson; that is not the director's name; he lies to all of you.  He uses the names Michael Anderson, Michael Mann, and many more, but those are his main names.  The company is based out of Georgia but they really operate in Lake City, Florida.  We do use Georgia numbers 229-380-8974.  It's a Magic Jack phone plugged in to a computer that works off the internet; so it has there a Georgia number so they can say there in Georgia.  The 1-888-210-2221 toll free number is forwarded to a phone registered in Lake City, Fl and it sometimes is forwarded to a cell phone.  Used to be my cell phone but not any more.  For anybody I have spoken to in the past I do apologize.  But people -- do not accept the resolution they are offering.  I can not reveal much more information than this to protect myself from a lawsuit.  But do hang up on them.  If you did resolve, then do what you have to to fix your error in judgment.  I do again apologize; I no longer work for this company.

I recieved a call this afternoon in regards to a "time share aggrement" aupposedly made back in 2003.  I too stayed at the Sahara and used Leisure Time.  I don't remember the first person I talked to, but second guy's name is Randall Duarte.  Said he just got through marine corp training.  Call back number 352-672-8200.  Told me I owed $496, $400 of which would be refunded after doing the timeshare.  Also gave me a few hours to respond or be turned over to collections.  They sent me a copy of the terms and conditions and a fake looking reciept.

I had the same thing happen to me tonight. I am so glad to be able to google this and find that I was not the only one. I was in fear of ruining my credit because they told me that they were going to turn me into a collection agency it I didn't comply tonight (before midnight) These people need to be stopped. I listened to my gut feeling but was close to giving in because of their severe threats. All the names are very familiar with everyone elses email. I appreciate the time that people have taken to write about their experience. It made me feel more at ease.

I called back a so called "customer service #" 1888 210 2221 to find out who would answer. Well no one answered so I hung up. Then right away I got a call back from a wireless caller 1386 623 9885. I let him know that their company is a big scam and I hope everyone finds out about them.  He states that I am lying on his company and I am being recorded. Also that they are going to take me to court and damage my credit. He says it's people like me who dont pay thier bills and give his company a bad name!!!  I told him if he thinks I will fall for that, he is out of this mind!  He also states that he does not have my account info handy, but he knows I owe them. I told him never to call back again. Fat chance of that!! I also told him that this s*** probably works of the elderly what a shame.

This is the third time they have tried to pull this scam on me. Contacting the Better Business Bureaus isn't doing anything (they just grab a different business license in a different state.)

IF YOU WANT SOMETHING TO HAPPEN TO THESE PEOPLE YOU SHOULD DO WHAT I DID:

Call the hotel/casino who's name they are using and ask for the LEGAL or MANAGEMENT department and tell them what is going on and refer them to the web pages about these numbers here!

They are the one's who are having their business name dragged through the mud by these scammers and they are the ones that can do something about it (SUE THEM!)

These people have started calling me about 6 months ago.  They kept on calling back.  The first time I was not sure who they were and they claimed that I owed them money for failing to attend a timeshare.  The 2nd time they called I cut them off and told them that I already knew they were scams.  They just called again tonight.  I am sick and tired of these phone calls.

My policy now is that if I don't recognize the number, I don't pick up. If its important, they will leave a message. They have not called me since a few days ago. They must have hacked into either the travel agency or Sahara's since I did stay at Sahara's too. I found my original receipt via email that did not have any terms and conditions in regards to going to a time share seminar. Go to www.leisuretime.com. If you look at the terms and conditions, there is a section for Promotional Packages. It looks like these hackers copied the real website's terms and conditions. Look at the price. It's a 250 that's charged to your credit card that will not be refunded. Since they already have your credit card from you booking, why would they want it again. Red flag. Yeah, the guy mentioned he was a Gulf War Vet also. This was probably to build trust.

They have emailed me a copy of their "Terms & Conditions" (just a word document, no signature) and an fowarded email that is supposedly my receipt that doesn't contain a valid email header.  Can this be mail fraud?  I would love to nail these SOB's.

They have called me several times last month and once again today.  Joshua Mills from Leisure Time Worldwide travel last time and the "Legal Department" this time.   Same story claiming I owe $496 for failing to meet terms and conditions of a trip I took 4 years ago.  He was very aggressive on his call today, getting very upset when I mentioned I have reported him to the police and my lawyer and to stop harassing me.  They have the last 4 digits of a debit card I had several years ago, and know that I stayed at the Sahara.  They can't give me any other details

I did get them to email me a terms and conditions sheet, as well as what they attempted to pass off as an invoice - Can I get them for mail fraud if it is an email?

I hate these sorry excuses for human beings.  Had the audacity to say he was a "Volunteer Fire Fighter" and I needed to calm down because he was concerned about my safety.  People like these don't deserve the air they breathe.

I also recieved a phone call from these people the other night.  He alsoclaimed he was Michael Thomas and like  all the other stories, it was the same deal,  except all the information was wrong, address wasn't even the same state as I live in, my cc number has been changed several times, and my email address had changed.  I didn't know it was a scam but am glad that I gave out no information.

Same situation. They called me last night around 8 pst. I took a trip 6 years ago and they mentioned that there was a clause that I had to fulfill within four years of my trip (go to a 90 minute presentation on time shares). I told them to send the agreement with the clause to my email address. They agreed but I haven't seen it. Dug out my old receipt via email from the place I booked it which was Leisure Time and it nothing in regards to the clause. A straight transaction.

They tried to get my CC number at the end, but I told them that I would do so after I had me friend (a lawyer) review the documention. They agreed, but like I said before, they didn't send me a copy of the agreement.

If you go to the website (which they gave me), the numbers don't match up with the the customer service number they gave me which was 888-210-2221.
