got several calls from this number tonight.  No one speaks,,,,very annoying !  A series of numbers shows up in place of the pewrsons name on the caller ID,,,,,,,we are not hispanic and our name is definately not hispanic sounding,

They called here again.  My computer runs the free PHONE TRAY program which logs their call and then hangs up on them.  Now they don't bother me AND they can call till they're blue in the face!  This is even better than being on the DNC list!

Bank robbers still rob banks even though there's a law against it.  Crooks don't care what the law says.

What the DNC does do for you is this:  When you're on the DNC and you get a telemarketing call, you can pretty much be assured that you're talking to a CROOK.  HANG UP!!!!!!  You don't want to get scammed!

Received several calls from 1-229-380-8195 (almost every 30 min) no one answers, when I call back the spammer message says to go to magic talk dot com to make free calls. The spammers message also indicates that the number called is an unassigned magic jack number.

I get calls from this number constantly and have not been able to stop them from calling.  Obviously I have to block their number.  All they ask is "Do you speak Spanish."  I've told them that I do not more times than I would like to count.

I got four calls from this number the past two days. They speak another language. I hang up on them. They aren't scamming me !

I've been getting calls from this number several times a day for the last couple of days. A Spanish speaking woman starts saying something and I've told her several times to stop calling to no avail. Now I just let the phone ring. I don't know what else to do.

They always call, twice a day. They never say anything and ive heard someone saying stuff in spanish(I speak it too). THEY ARE ANNOYING!

Have received 2 calls from this number, both speak Spanish.  Have told them NO ONE in the house speaks Spanish and yet they continue to call.  We are also on the DO NOT CALL list.

I got a live person on the third call, I told the girl that I would pray for her, then asked her what she was wearing ...amazing that we were disconnected.  Thus far the calls have stopped.

Got several calls from this number, someone asking me something in spanish.  The last call I cursed her out, so lets see if she calls again for some more.

Got a call from 229-380-8195 this is to get a Majic Jack phone.

I recvd a phone call from a collection agency with instructions of what to do if they reached a wrong number.  I informed them that this was a wrong number and they asked me for my number so they could adjust their records.  That's how they got me.

229-380-8195 came up on my caller id as Georgia call... i didn't call it back nor i didn't answer it. I don't answer calls i don't know

Company name given was something like Quatar, Katar, Cuatar...

First call:
After I answered her "buenos dias," she said something about verifying my address to send me a pre-paid calling card (or something like that). Then she paused to ask if I understood...WHICH WAS VERY SUSPICIOUS :). I said, in Spanish, that I didn't Speak Spanish very well. She laughed and ended the call quickly.

Second call, the next day, it was a bit noisy at my house, so I sort of pretended I couldn't hear. After she said "buenos dias" twice, I said "hello?" Then the third time, I said, "I'm sorry, I can't hear very well," and she hung up on me. Actually, I think after the first hello, she asked if I spoke Spanish.

Based on the tone and actions of these callers, I'm guessing others are correct about this being a scam.

Get calls from them and they don't leave message. I answered once and got no response to Hello!

Have recieved calls from this number 6 times over the last 2 months, asked them to quit calling but is not helping.  Would like to be able to block calls without having to pay for it.  AT&T do you hear me?  Number look up says it is a Sprint  number.

I get calls from this number every few days.  If anyone is there when I answer, there is a pause before they speak as if a computer dialed number with a pause for a person to pick up once I've answered.  

The conversation from the caller's end is in Spanish.  Today I told the caller that this number is on the Do Not Call list and if they called again I would report it to the State Attorney General's office so they could be fined.

By the way, I don't have a Spanish surname, but they are calling me just the same.

All attempts to stop them seem to have failed so far, as I am getting calls from them.   I am on the Do Not Call List, so this shouldn't happen.  I don't answer, so I have no idea what they want. Annoying, to be sure, but if it is in furtherance of a scam, then it is far worse than that!  I, too, will do some digging, but I doubt very much that it is Magic Jack.  I think it is probably an unassigned Magic Jack number that is being used to disguise the real phone number from which these calls are made.  
There are services that let anyone do that and I wish it would be made illegal!
