another call from "Circulations In" at 12:53PM.  was not home and no msg let on ans machine.  I am on the Do not Call list, which apparently means nothing to the caller

If they are calling your cell phone (not landline) without your consent, you can start a class action under the TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act).

been getting calls from this number for what seems like months.  luckily I have not been home at the times they called.  I am on the Do Not Call list, but the DNC list seems to be a joke.  

Calls from this number on 5/2, 5/7, and 5/13/14; and these are only the most recent calls.  Caller ID says "circulations in".  I do not ans calls from numbers I do not know.

this  number keep calling and when i ask you did they want say noting .but when i hit star 69 and get numbers and call by i get amachine.

This number called at 9 pm, hung up when the answering machine picked up.

They call over and over and over. They never leave message. I do not know who take cares of theese matter. I think they should get one call leave a message and if I am interested I would call back. Thats what the law should be. But know one has the balls to enact a law  that  the American people would like.

Another call 1-28-14 10:14 a.m.  Didn't answer; no message left.  Caller ID said Circulations In.  I assume telemarketer.

Got the same company calling.....didn't answer it.....we don't take the newspaper anymore

They first wanted to know if I had received their free paper they left out in my yard this morning. Then checked to see if I wanted to purchase their Mon/Wed/Fri edition package of the Clayton Courier. I said "Ma'am, Clayton Where? I live in Birmingham, Alabama and have no "Clayton" near me." She really didn't sound like your usual telemarketer.Fairly well-spoken, about in her fifties and an un-professional phone delivery. I figured it was some small town newspaper that was trying out this "telemarketing" thing to see if she could sell some subscriptions over the phone and dialed me up states over by misdialing. We'll have to see.

Got a call from this number last week, and was able to figure out who it was from the comments above. I do not have any newspaper subscriptions, and I don't want one. I tried to report it on the Do Not Call website, and it's down due to the goverment shut down. So, I guess it's open season now on us poor helpless consumers. Watch out people! All the telemarketers will be calling once they figure it out!

If they call just keep hitting the star key on your phone, If its a auto dialer it will think its calling a fax an block the number, if a voice on line the star key is annoying an they will stop calling ...., an well just tell them you have there address an just might drop by an knock on the door an see if that will stop the calling also have local police with u too

Called the 229 435 2169 -left a voice mail to REMOVE this # from all phone call! They have the voice mail. It needs to stop! Thank you!

Got tired of telling them to stop calling my CELL phone, that I am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY, for them just to tell me it would take 24-72 hours to be removed (which never came about)

So, I looked up the number to the paper they are selling subscriptions to and called the sub. dept. calmly explained the situation, she said her mgr was in a meeting but she would make sure they had me removed.  That is when I informed the lady on the other end that every time I was called... I would be calling them.

We will see.

I blocked 2294352169 before and verizon stopped it for 2 months but the calls are back.  They told me they were calling on behalf of magazines I subscribe to.  Fakes!

Contractor hired by the Virginian Pilot newspaper out of Virginia Beach, VIrginia soliciting for newspaper subscriptions on behalf of that outfit. Most likely they call on behalf of many newspaper companies around the U.S.A., since many others here are reporting similar situations whe other newpapers in U.S.A. Normally ask your name; address; get credit card data to open your subscription to your local newspaper. Give that caller a special ringtone so you know to ignore it or block that number so your phone won't ring. On my particular phone you can mute the ringer, but they're still able to leave a message, but that does not seem to be my problem.

Yes, I too have been getting calls from this number and I am in North Carolina and they are in Albany, Ga. Why would ANYONE in NC want an Albany, Ga. newspaper??? I am ALSO on the national DO NOT CALL list, even though this is my cell phone that they are calling. I have returned their calls (to an answering machine, of course) and let them know that I know EXACTLY who they are BY NAME (personally as well as the company name) AND their PERSONAL HOME ADDRESSES and that I have reported them to the National DO NOT CALL registry AND MY ATTORNEY because this has gotten to the point of harassment!
