Man with a heavy accent says he is calling about my computer and it has a virus.  I told him I wasn't interestered and do not call me again.  So we wil see if he does

Just got the same call only from a woman. I told her my computer is none of her damn business and to never call my number again.

Just got a call from this number. Our local news had a report just last night about a company scamming naive computer users, claiming to be from a tech support firm. They try to get access to your computer, then ask for payment for "fixing" your problem. One local person got scammed for $2000 and a small business got taken for $800.

Got a call from 229-442-1108. This number is located in Bainbridge, Ga. Had gotten this call before. I am an IT Specialist and so is my son. Gave him access to a bogus computer we set up and sent them more viruses, malware, bots, trojan's etc. than they will know what to do with. Would have sent the kitchen sink too, if we could had found a way. Seriously doubt they will ever call us back!!

Scam from this cell phone number showing up on my Caller I.D. A man with a heavy accent saying that he represents Microsoft and that my computer is generating danger signals. I asked for a number where I can call him back and he gave me 1-800-935-0714 and that his name was Melvin Christ. I haven't Googled that number yet. I get scams all day long.

Received this call. Wanted to know about my computer. I asked what company he was affiliated with. He had a very thick accent. I told him I was not interested and to remove me from his list. He said he did not understand. I told him that I did not want him contacting me again and to put me on the do not call list. I asked if that was clear and he said that he heard what I said but he loves talking to me and wanted to know if I loved talking to him. I told him no and that I would say it one more time politely and then I would contact the police because he was harassing me. He said he was just talking to me. I asked his name and he said Mark. I asked his last name and he said Thompson. I told him that with his thick accent I didn't believe that his name was Mark Thompson and he started to laugh. I hung up.

I receive calls from this number all the time and want it stopped now!

I got call from this number and decided to see how long could keep the man with Heavy Indian accent on phone.  He went threw are you infront of computer.  Yes.  You need to push Window button after describing where it is and little r.  I acted like I was, but didn't do anything.  He asked what I saw.  I said red, blue, pictures words.  I kept going along with him, then someone else took over.  I kept messing with them.  Was suprised they didn't hang up.  Asked my age and I said 12.  Then he goes you aren't you're 60 or 70.  (no in my 40, but didn't tell him)  He asked for my number.  Not giving it.  He called it out and I didn't say it was it.  He said he'd call back tomorrow.  I go why I'm not going to do any of your tricks.  I'm just messing with you to see how long till you hang up.  I actually hung up on him.  Going to block the number.  Crazy people.  Hope I saved someone who would go do their tricks.

Same story on my cell number and home number , as soon as I noticed the accent and first words.. "calling regarding your computer ....."  Hang up... The question is? Who the heck sold or stole our phone numbers database...  Some insider from ATT ......?

Just received a call from this number. Answered it since it said it was a cellphone from Ga. The guy wanted me to access my computer for him. When I told him I wasn't going to do it he said "F*** You"...we exchanged words and I hung up on him. Total Scam. Called the number back and it said it was a non working number.

Just got a similar call with the heavy Indian accent.  I let him go on for a bit and then told him that I have a Mac.  He seem stumped and didn't know what to say.

I just got a call from the same number, saying he represented a company named Help Tech. He also had a heavy Indian accent. I told him that I wasn't comfortable with him and hung up...

I got a call from this #, a man with heavy Indian accent said my computer was generating progams.  I kept asking him who he worked for and he said Microsoft.  I said I would un plug the router,  He got excited and said no, no.  I unplugged the router and he said, Good bye.

Could not understand caller and when I kept asking him to repeat or say what the call was about, starting swearing.

I received the same call on 9/23/2013 from the same guy, when I looked at my caller ID this call is coming from a cell phone and when I tried to call the number bacI received a recording stating that the number I called is not a working number. I am contacting my local phone company to see how I can block this number.

just got a call from this number... do not know anyone in Georgia!  They did not leave a msg... SCAM!

I got a call from this number yest. but didn't answer as I never answer unrecognized numbers.  Sounds like the same type of calls being generated by other phone numbers the last couple of weeks.  Wish they could all be shut down -- I get tired of listening to the phone ring.

JUST GOT THE SAME CALL.  MY COMPUTER WAS GENERATING ERROR.  TOLD HIM I WASN'T FAMILIAR (YES SURE) ENOUGH WITH COMPUTER TO DO WHAT HE WAS ASKING.  HE WANTED ME TO ALLOW HIS TECH TO ACCESS MY COMPUTER.  NO.

917 pm 09/20/13 got a call from this number.  Answered, but no one there. Reading other posts, I don't know if fact that I just bought a computer on-line from one company and a computer case from another, both delivered this week, has any relevance.
