Same story here. Senior citizen alert scam. I am also on the don't call list. I blame it on Obama.

It appears as these people have changed their name again.  They are no longer calling themselves "Elite Information Solutions".  They are now going by the name "The Credit Voice".  They changed their name from "Elite Information Solutions" to "The Credit Voice" the day after Indiana Attorney General filed suit against "Elite Information Solutions dba Safeline Alert".  According to the Florida Department of Agriculture (licensing body of telemarketers in Florida) "The Credit Voice" is licensed to telemarket medical alert equipment at 495 Semoran Blvd. Casselberry, Florida. It looks like "The Credit Voice" main headquarters is located in Clearwater, Florida.

I was solicited and was on the do not call list.

Answered the call from Albany, NY,  but there was no recording or caller responding on the other end - just dead air.

This number called twice today, and it was identified as coming from a correctional institution.  Luckily, our phone will not accept collect calls from such a place.............they are blocked.  This must stop.  It sends a scarey message to the recipient.  Please call a halt to this.  Thanks.

I have been receiving calls from the number 229-518-4648 and when I call it back, it rings two times and then is disconnected. I would like for this number to stop calling me!!! It is really starting to get annoying!!!

Complain to your State Attorney General's office. Indiana State Attorney General filed suit against this company in August, putting a restraining order on them to stop calling people in Indiana.  Indiana had over 600 complaints on this company.  Your state will listen if they get enough complaints, your complaint definity counts. This company stopped calling Indiana, but they are still calling the rest of the states and now starting to call Canada.  If every state puts a restraining order on them, they will have no one to call in the US.

The name of this company is Elite Information Solutions out of Casselberry, Florida, but the company is using a UPS store address in Orlando for their principal place of business.  Company owner is Michael Hilgar.  This company goes by several FAKE names.  Here are a few names that they are using:  Safeline Medical Alert, Senior Medical Benefits, Senior Medical Advisory, Senior Alert Line, and Senior Safeline.

This number has started calling my house. I don't answer if it doesn't say who it is. Phone company will only allow a few numbers to be blocked. Can't block them all!!!

I got an entire message about how to get a 'senior citizen alert' kit for free. So I came online here to see who this is. Seems it is a telemarketing group; I have no idea how they got my number. I did visit my eye ear nose and throat dr. recently. I hope he is not selling info. Another reverse phone lookup company says that is how they get numbers, maybe. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is. I'm moving and cancelling this number so I don't care if they keep calling. This is a Georgia call center: 229-518-4648

We receive calls from 229-518-4648 at least TWICE A DAY.  It is very annoying and we don't know how to make them stop.

You can also block the numbers....peace.

My husband used to get so upset about these calls.
I tell my husband, just don't answer the phone.  Life's too short and the delete button is too handy.

This number is a telemarketer and I am on the Do not Call list.

All telemarketers deserve to be shot, but make sure you get all of them at one time in an entire call center. It is not right to allow any to escape because then they will be harassing other people later.

so... this time I decided to go ahead and record them via photobooth and using my speaker phone... what a bunch of crap!!! I pressed "1" and was connected to an older woman who had her script down pretty well... said I was "chosen" to receive a medical alert package worth over $400...When I asked her HOW I was "chosen".. she said I probably gave my information to a hospital or clinic.... and then she asked if I'd done that... in truth, I have visited an urgent care facility in Gainesville, GA - and they DO have my number.. but I'm not a "senior" and didn't give them permission to share my information with anyone...

so... another day, another annoying phone call.. what gets me is, how the hell are we supposed to live our lives in peace... trying to put the b***s*** behind us and pretend all is happy in the world... and then get these morons who bother our "peaceful times and home" - just to prove to us.. we're NOT in control of anything, anyone can bother us and any time.. there is no peace.. there is no harmony... just annoying people who get off and annoying others... I'd say, "no wonder people go postal".. but I'd probably have the FBI at my house within the hour.. so I won't.

If you get a call from this telemarketer, please file a complaint with the FCC: http://www.fcc.gov/complaints.  If they receive enough complaints, they'll investigate. In addition, they send information on how to file a lawsuit.

This number called again today, 8/23/12 at 11:04 am. This time I answered and the caller hung up. Must be a robocaller and no rep was available when I picked up. Very annoying. I logged a previous incident on Aug. 14 where I just ignored the call because I didn't recognize the number.

Third call like this in the last couple weeks!!!

It's a robocall which starts with, "if you're a senior citizen", at which point I hang up.

i just received a call about senior citzen alert. i asked the person on the line his name,it was jonathan and i asked if he knew what time it was and he said it was about 10:30 p.m. i told him it was 9:00 p.m. at night and that if i had his home number that i would call him at 9: p.m. and he said that he does not care, i asked him for his supervisor and he hung up on me. he is with an unknown company. i am tired of getting calls from this company.

Same thing happened to me at 11:30 a.m. in Bainbridge Ga.  Usually, I do not anwer a number I do not know but this time I did and they hung up.

Received call from this number while I was on the phone with someone else. Didn't recognize number so I ignored the call waiting beeps until they gave up.

I am tired of people calling from this number. When I called it back because I didn't answer it...They said the mailbox was full....Right! Please someone do something about this as we are tired of calls from this number...they never leave a message either....
