Message from Chris St James saying credit card payments were going up and it was "imperative we call him back".  Never identified what company he was from.  Caller ID & time message was left matched to this company.

Recording: "...debt reduction...press 1..." I pressed "1" and a woman speaking very quickly said what sounded like a different company name & asked if I would answer some questions. I asked what the name of the company was and she hung up.
I just changed my home # two days ago 01/09/08 to an unlisted, unpublished, private # and registered it immediately on the "do not call list"
I'm disgusted.

They kept calling so I called back.  You have to hit 1 to remove your number then they transfer you to someone who will remove your number of their list.  They said it was Consumer Credit Company. ??

This guy has also left me about 5 voicemails in the past 6 months. I didn't  notate the name he used the other times he called but when he called today he left the name Chris Saintjames with Broadcomb. I also recognized his voice from the other times he has called. He says the following:

I'm calling regarding your credit card balances and the minimum payments that are going up. It is imperative that you call me back. You now qualify for the debt reduction allowance program. Again, my name is chris st james, and my phone number is 800 210 2892. It is imperative that you give me a call.

How do we stop this person from calling?  Who can we report this to?

Same shrift here - They call every day.  Today I was home and got the message, pressed 1 to try to get off the list and spoke to a woman who asked me "Do you want to find out about our debt reduction?" When I said "No, I want to remove my name from you list," she hung up on me.

If you call 1-231-732-2401 directly (NOT the 800 number left), you will have an option to get removed from ALL of the lists that this company provides calls for.  If you hold on for a about a minute, a service rep will talk to you and take you off the list, supposedly.  I'm going to wait and see if it really happens.

When I press 1 to have my number removed teh system hangs up on me. So I then reported them to the donotcall registry at
https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx
maybe the feds can inform them that my number is on the do not call list
