A guy who said he was from Texas with an Ohio area code, said he was Pakistan. He said he was calling from the campany IMAX and wanted me to go into my manage folder and open up my software security to him. He said I had lots of Malware and malicious virus affecting 60% of my computer. I told him I did not want his help, he told me that I am a bull shiter and I need to though my computer in the dust bin, I laughed so hard and hung up.

No reply when answered phone. Could hear talking in the background.
BTW, you can block calls with some Panasonic cordless telephones. I have a model KX-TG6511B base station with a model KX-TGA652 handset. It will block up to 30 numbers plus any call without a number. Easy to set up and works great. If you have a landline phone, you get one ring then blessed silence. You can find info here: http://shop.panasonic.com/shop/model/KX-TG6511B?t=manuals&support#tabs
PS: I do not work for Panasonic.

Man with Indian accent called, but didn't ask for anyone in particular in our house. He just insisted that horrible stuff is being downloaded onto our computer and he needs to fix it for us or it will crash. Our computer wasn't even on. He insisted that we go turn it on. My husband said that he wasn't going to turn it on and the man got more aggressive and insistant. My husband mentioned something about how he just wants to hack our computer so he can see the naked pictures of something to do with a camel and the mans mother and sisters. The man finally hung up.

A man with an Indian accent called and said that my windows was going to crash on my computer. They had called me previously and I recognized the spill he was giving me. I told him that I was not interested in what he had to say and to stop calling me. He became very belligerent with me and said that I needed to listen to him and what he had to say because my computer was going to crash. I told him that I didn't care what he had to say and that he knew nothing about my computer and that I have asked them to stop calling me. He said that he would continue to call me because I would not listen to what he had to say. I asked to be transferred to his supervisor and he refused continuing on being belligerent. He eventually said that he was the supervisor. He was very upset with me because I did not want to hear what he had to offer and he said that the only way he would stop calling me is if I prayed for him. I told him that I was not going to pray for him and that he still needed to stop calling me. He called me some derogatory names and then I hung up on him.

I never answer numbers I don't recognize. . .Worth the price for caller I.D. If it's truly someone who needs to talk to me, I'm sure they will leave a message.
Like my daughter told me, "Would you open your door to someone you don't know?" It's the same for phone calls.
So all you telemarketers . . . .save your time and take my phone number off your list!

Claims to be with Windows, said I have a problem with my computer. I asked him which computer and he said "the Windows computer." I told him we have multiple and what is the name of his company. He said Windows, I asked for the legal name. He hesitated, mumbled, and hung up.

Woman with thick accent who said something about Windows 7 and was calling about my computer. As a Mac user, I laughed at her and hung up.
