The number came up as (234)-567-89 from Salem Ohio on my cell, I said hello the dude said hello I said hello again and then in his THICK INDIA accent said his name was Derick.  Then asked if I was the owner of my home computer.  I being suspicious said no he proceeded with well every time you go to get on line some one is secretly trying to hack your computer then said something that I could not comprehend and went silent with back ground noise only so I hung up.

Got a call from 00322345678901 just now ... so, it's not only happening in the US. The 0032 in front points to Belgium. As Belgian numbers only have 9 digits I did not answer. Also, nobody has this sequence "23456789", unless it's being used for wrong intentions ... ignore the call, safest thing!

A big scam worldwide. Please don't phone them back.

I had the same, My first thought was they are hoping you'll phone back on a premium rate line they earn money from.. But obviously crooked. In not even in the US in Uk so this is a big scam.

They ring you and tell you that you that you have made a massive order to make you panic so you stay on the line and if costs lots of money do not ring them back

Received several call from this number. CID showed "Salem, OH". I hit the "on" button on my phone and then immediately hung up without bothering to see if anyone was on the line. I did not receive a call back.

More scam artists

I get 1-2 calls daily frome these guys and usually they just hang up when I say hello. He one time they did say something it was about my computer and errors on my windows. I'm getting very tired of these guys. I have tried to call them back and just get a busy signal.

Yes I am receiving calls from the same number and I have no idea who it is or why they are phoning me.  It enrages me that mobile numbers can't be made 'private' or ex-directory like landlines.  I am SICK and TIRED of getting marketing texts/calls that I do not want.

This number called me on my uk cell phone number saying that I want to talk about debt management.

Their number is a US Salem, Ohio phone number.

They asked to speak to me (asked by name) and I said, "This is she." Then they wanted to know if they were speaking to me (called me by name again) and I again stated that , "This is she." Then they started to spell my name. WEIRD. Sounded like a guy from India. They called twice today and when I demanded to know who they were...they hung up. I'm thinking this is a scam.

I had two calls from Salem OH.  Wish they would stop harrassing me.  How do you block these on mobile?  Plus as I answered worried I will get huge bill.

I got the same phone call from (234)568-89 from Salem Oh. She told me she was with Microsoft and someone was illegally using my computer. She then asked me to go in and turn on my computer and she would talk me through fixing it. When I told her I didn't have a home computer the only Internet access I have is through AT&T which is protected. She even asked in the beginning of our conversation if I was Teresa W. When I started asking her questions back she got rude with me and hung up. I called my phone carrier AT&T and they had absolutely no record of the call. I took pics of it and sent to them and they couldn't figure it out. Strange to me!!!!!!!!

They are scam artists calling to help you "fix" your PC due to error messages and viruses coming from my computer. They want to add Malware to steal your personally identifiable information and financial data. Tell them to F#@k Off!

Best part is they are calling at 730am i thought they can't call before 8 am

getting calls several times a day at all hours!

Keep getting calls from this number and when they decide to finally talk, they keep telling me that I am entitled to a $3,000 government grant that I can use for anything I please; I am getting this grant because I pay my bills on time?  This is from a foreign person, female, possibly from India and when I told her I didn't want the grant, she said what, I repeated it, and then she just hung up.  This is not the first time I have gotten a call like this, the last one was from 206-456-0661 and this time it was a male, also foreign, possibly from India and with the same message.  I looked this number up and most of the people who wrote about it said it was a scam. So I am no longer answering these calls and hope they will just quit dialing my number.

this india guy last name sighn or singh is using this in michigan after you use your credit call for purchase maybe selling you out.

I've have received a few calls from this number, only it shows up at 234-567-890 (without the 1 at the end), sounds like they are in India and advise me they have been receiving critical errors from my windows computer and ask if I am on my computer to run some tests.  I have advised them each time they call that I either have no computer or that with all the fraud out there, I do not trust a company who can't give me specifics of who they are to advise me of my computer having critical errors.  My computer is working fine!  I also advised him that if that was the case, they surely would not be calling my cell phone to ask me such questions.  Just as a Bank would never call or email you with such questions.  Then they just thank me for my time and hang up.  Very Strange!!!  Beware, I have no idea who they are, but just from this blog alone, looks like they have been doing this for years.  The only difference, is their number shows up without the ending number, so you can not call them back.  I don't trust them nor can I find any information about them except for this site.
