Received a call from Compfixo Tech Support today saying there is a Windows update to do on my PC. When we asked to speak to the supervisor they hung up. We tried to call the number and it was disconnected. Scam!

keeps calling me to go to my computer and do what they said ..when i called back the number 1 8007860970  they hung up when i asked how they got my info...

I just got a call from the number 235-683-4810. I could barely understand what he was saying, he had a very heavy accent. He has my email address. He said I applied online for a grant. When I told him I didn't and to take my name off of his call log, he told me that the only way he could do that is if I pay 3.75, and I could choose how to pay with VISA, MASTERCARD or Banking account. We stayed on the phone for 15minutes until I asked to speak to his supervisor, his supervisor was saying the same thing. I am pissed and annoyed. The weird thing is that when he called, the number was under my Uncles name, but the number didn't match. When I tried to explain that he totally ignored me. >:(

Number calls Mid morning M-F.  Never leaves a msg.  Other reports says its not a valid phone number.  ??
Says "Name Unavailable"

Same called up and said he could fix my PC with microsoft downloads .  SCAM

I got a call from this number today . He had a very heavy accent . He said he was trying to send a microsoft update to my computer . I told him i don't have a computer and he said well it's showing on my end that you have a computer and microsoft isnt responding . I responded with Actually i have an Apple Macbook Pro , it doesnt use microsoft so take your scam somewhere else. Then i advised him that i was on the national do not call list and if he contacts me again , i will press charges. THIS IS A SCAM !!

picked up and asked for my me knew my name and said they were financial something i hung up but they are repeately calling me throughout my whole class they wouldnt stop calling !!

Get repeated spam calls from this number inspite of being registered with donotcall. A real nuisance.

I recieved call from this number, the person who called i asked him his name he started cussing at me he didnt know i spoke hindi so i understood all the foul language he was giving me.  I also let him it then I did reverse look up found its a company called compfixo i called there 855-888-5881 number spoke to a man in india he told me they are PC repair company based in Houston TX. When I asked him the address and phone number for corporate office to complain he hung up

yeah ihad a call ust now and a guy with a thick accent i think arab , or what we call  dollar forty fives , anyway hes tellin me my computers having problems and he can help me fix it , i asked for someone that spoke english without a accent cuz i couldnt understand him and there was alot of background noise......some microsoft update is what i needed and if i were to go on my cpu he would help me , lol , i told him i have a mac and he didnt know what to say , then he said well then its a problem with your operating system , i just laughed at him and hung up ........scam scam scam

I got the same kind of phone call just a little bit ago. When I told him Ididn't understand him it pissed him off and he called me a bi***, told me to go to hell and f*** you bi***....I laughed at him and he hung up. He said he was calling from the government, it definitely wasn't our government.  Idiots!!!

I got 2 calls from this number today.2 hours apart. I didn't recognize so I didn't answer. Did a reverse search on it and got nothing. Typed in the number straight on google and see all these complaints! Wow!!!

I also got a call from this number and the man had a very heavy Indian accent. Said that my computer was not getting Windows Updates and I told him he was full of crap and hung up.

Got a call that my MS Windoze was not updating, according to "Ceylon Tech Support." All home computers are Macs.

I have received several calls from this number.  I never answer it, nor do the leave a voice mail.  the number they use to call, when i tr to call it back has been chnage/or disconnected.  Sounds like a big bogus scam to me.

Got mine today too, March 19. Went on and on about my Microsoft Windows application and something being wrong, had the heavy accent. When I told him the computer I am working on is a Mac, it went dead silent.

Just got my first call from them today but something told me to hang up as she said hello - I'm so glad I did!

I have been called by this number 3 times within as many hours.  Whoever hangs up as soon as I answer.

I am on the NO CALL list from the state of Missouri.  HELP!!!

Fradulant phone calls regarding 'technical support' that I never signed up for or requested. Can not be taken off list. Attempted to call the number back and it did not work.

Ceylon Tech scam. After a bunch of smoke and mirror action hey get you to download a remote-control software and take over your computer. I wasted one of their reps time for about 30 minutes pretending to go along, but got tired of the game when he tried to convince me to download and install that remote control program.

Do you fill out a bunch of sweepstakes- I did one and this number keeps calling me

they said that my computer was giving problems, said his name was Jason and they were there to help fix it.  I asked him if he like trying to SCAM people.  His reply was SHUT UP.  All while he was saying SHUT UP, I informed him that I was going to report the number to the Federal Trade Commission.  When calling the number back you get a recording saying that the call can not be completed as dialed.

2-27-13  just recived my 3 call from these idiots.  so i came to find where the number was calling from i was suprised when i couldn't find the area code anywhere till i came to this website.  thanks everyone
