Got a call this afternoon today from this 239-213-1290 as well.
I selected 1 to speak to a rep. I was asked if I had over $5000.00 in credit debt on any of my credit cards. Asked "John" which one in particular (I have no credit card debt, by the way) to see where this was going. I asked the name of his company and he said they represent several credit card companies. Then he hung up on me.
These really irritate me. Wish we could catch them. Also when I called the number, I got a phone out of service message.

Have received 10-15 of these bogus calls in the last month - and many more in the past months. Whether you input you don't want to be called back or get through to a person and give them a hard time for calling you (on the No Call list)the result is the same - they keep calling back. No one can apparently call off these dogs.  I can't imaging they are catching any stupid people in their net with the fury and frustration I (and apparently lots of other folks feel)concerning these calls.  Please find them and force them to listen to their own messages in a continuous, unending loop for 48 straight hours - then give them phones with no working buttons and repeat continuously for another two days. Maybe they will switch to less annoying professions.  At least istwould give us all a 4 day break.

Me too! They call early in the morning (9:30 am, August 8, 2007, today), and have at least twice a week for the past several months. The message says they 'have urgent news regarding my credit card account.' I have no credit card accounts... Last time, I actually waited for a person to get on-line, and as she kept asking me to 'verify my name and address', I asked for her name and address, which she refused to provide. I asked for the business mailing address, and reminded her that I had requested they not call before. She said, quite coldly, 'have a nice day', and hung up. They KEEP CALLING!

Got a call here in SC from this #.  Traced it to David Piper in Naples Fl.Must be a busy person!

I've gotten the prerecorded "This is Rachel from Card Holder Services" call about a dozen times in the past few months.  I continue to file a complaint to the do not call website about them each time they call.  Tonight I'm going to contact my representive in congress and let him know that this rogue telemarketer is harrassing everyone they can on the do not call list.  I'd suggest the rest of you contact yours too because something might then get done to shut these crook telemarketer scamsters down.

Have had repeated calls from this number. Like many of others, I am on both the state and national Do Not Call lists. I have even gone as far as to block this number with my phone service provider to get some relief from this number.

Got another call about my "credit card account" this time from Jonathan.  And this time the number was diffrent although the message, voice recording, ect. was all the same.
A bit of info for you; it would seem that these reprasenitives don't like hearing the good news about Jesus or being read the Bible.  Everytime I push one and start reading them God's Word they hang up on me really fast!  Imagine that.

they hung up. Who are these people, I am trying to find out howto stop them.
The number on my caller id says it is not in service. I am also on Do Not Call.

I received this telephone number that was displayed on my caller ID. They called yesterday morning at 9:59 am EDT.   They did not leave message.  I called the telephone number back and apparently it is not in service according to the recording.  I too have registered our telephone number on the do not call list.  This is very annoying that they can call your number but you are unable to reach them back.  How strange and weird this is.  Go figure.

I too got the recorded message telling me that I "won" a great Florida vacation.  The live operator identified the business very fast twice. When I asked for a spelling the hung-up. I tried calling the number back but it say's its "not in service." How can a caller ID be set to a number that's not inservice and how can they go on harraing people on the national do not call list.

called 4:20pm  I answered the phone heard a computerized voice telling me that I had issues with my cerdit card account and they could lower the intrest rate if I would call them or I could press one for a rep or two to discontinue their call offer.  Pushed one to find out about it because I DON'T EVEN OWN A CREDIT CARD!  When line was picked up by female she asked if I had pressed one to speak with a rep about lowering my interest rate.  I said no I had pressed one to speak to someone because it said...at which point she cut me off and rudely said no don't tell me that I'm asking you this to find out this stuff.  I then tried to tell her to listen to me because something wasn't right but then she swore at me several times and said I wasn't going to do that to her, she'd show me at which point she hung up.  I star-six-nined the number and then checked it out on-line.

They wanted all my info on my credit cards and the debt. They even asked me my name. When I told them I would call them later this evening they hung up on my. These people are frauds! Do not give out any info to them!

I got a call from them. The person I got connected to refused to tell me the name of her company and when I asked to speak with her manager, she told me "They aren't going to talk to you". Then she hung up on me. I reported them to the "Do Not Call List". They call me 3-4 times a week. I've asked to be removed 3 times now, the calls keep coming and the rep's are getting more and more rude.

Sorry to do this in two posts, I forgot some information.  Like most others in this post, I'm on the national do-not call list.  The only thing I can figure is that they are grabbing phone books at random and dialing numbers, my number isn't unlisted.  Also, someone posted that they hit the number to tell them to never call again.  To be honest, that's unwise.  You just told them that you bothered to listen to their sales pitch, that will encourage them to call even more.  It's kind of like the rule to never reply to spam e-mail, replying tells them you read their e-mail, and thus they send more.

I just got a call from 239-213-1290 also.  They didn't leave a message on my machine.  I wouldn't be shocked if it was someone phishing for credit card info or identity info myself.  Obvious crook.  I generally screen all my calls anyway via my answering machine, so I'd never pick up the phone when someone doesn't even bother to leave a message.  Oh well, guess some people are just this desperate for money.

Called this morning, showed Out of Area, but sometimes my grocery delivery comes up this way when they want to deliver early so I answered.  Started with the recorded message about eligibility to reduce credit card rates, so curious I went ahead and hit 1, was transferred to a live person, and they asked if I wanted more information.  Said yes, and they asked if I had more than $5k in unsecured credit card debt.  Told them my husband takes care of the finances, and they hung up on me.

Same thing happened to me.  Called today at 10 AM.  Didn't answer phone.  How are they targeting people?  I am also on do not call registry, as so many are.  One has to wonder if that's where they are getting the info!!!!  Think about it--read the posts--almost everyone states they are on the registry! Did some unscrupulous employee from that agency sell the info; or is there security so lax that someone hacked in? I hate unproven conspiracy theories, but I think this needs to be looked into!

I've received repeated calls from this number. An automated greeting encourages me to hold to speak to someone about lowering the rate on my credit card account. On more than one occasion I've held in hopes of politely telling the telemarketer I'm on the state and federal do not call lists, but no one ever takes the call.

I got a call from them at 7:04pm & called them back. It was not in service. How did they get my number??? I'm on the national no call list also.

they keep calling me with different phone numbers and different area oodes florida area codes. I push the button that says if you do not want to receive this message again press # and I do this but I am still receiving these phone calls. I am on the do not call list.

Did not answer, caller id showed Naples, FL and the number.
