some guy named john called me from 239-274-5552 saying that he was from car sponsorships.com. he said that they would like to help me out with sponsorships from 33 well known and trusted companies. he told me that all that i would have to pay is a $99.00 flat fee, nothing more and that they would send me a brochure of parts to choose from. they said all that i would be required to do is to pass out fliers at car shows in my free time, and mailers.he also told me that the reason that they only sponsor you for parts and don't do any actual work to the car is because that they have learned that most people won't let anybody but themselves near they're cars. i can't deny this. i won't let anybody touch my car.

Yeah, it's CarSponserships.com. They are a ripoff. They 'sponsor' you with decals and third-rate sound systems. Not enough to even nearly get your money back. If your car doesn't run, don't expect it to anytime soon without alot of your own elbow grease.

It's not a scam but they do misrepresent the facts.

Here's the deal:

You'll get chosen, by default, for all of the cool aftermarket perks and those items will be given to you.

The catch is that you have to install all of the parts yourself no matter what it is that the distributors send to you.

On top of that, you're required by their contract to make yourself and your car, with all accessories installed, available for PR shoots that could be located thousands of miles from your home... at their discretion and at your cost.

This IS NOT pimp-my-ride. Although the accessories may be free to you, the costs of installation and travel to uphold the contract will be far more expensive than if you'd buy the parts from Summit (example) and install yourself.

Yeh they used to call me all the time..... I always ignored them, then I saw this website and waited for them to call back.... Then I simply told them I got sponsorship elsewhere. The caller said thanks for your honesty and take care.... Never heard from them again.
Theres the trick, just tell them you're already sponsored.

But if you're really looking for sponsorship they CAN in fact help you out. The trick is to have a rare car though. My friend recieves discounts and rebates for parts he gets from some places, he drives a 3000GT VR-4.... I drive a Supra and they probably would help me, but Im cheap, and 99 dollars is too much to chance.

www.carsponsorships.com

The sponsor cars.  I thought it was great so I sign up for it and then i had to fill out all these papers and need a picture of my car and things, so I didn't go through with the application.  I guess they still called me.  Lucky it was a missed called.

I don't know if you guys signed up or not, if not how did they get your number?
