I'm a service member too. And you're not supposed to be called because of this?? You sound like a very young uneducated 'service member. The correct spelling "there" in your post is "their" by the way.

I understand you may hate it but what about the person on the other end of the phone thier human too my mom died when I was 17 I got thrown into the world with no help and I had to find a job they pay great and let you make your own schedule but yes u get cussed out and honestly I love when someone takes one of the surveys it puts a smile on my face is that so wrong

I work for SRBI and if you dont wanna take a survey-hang up. We aren't telemarketers,we aren't trying to get you to buy anything. The people in YOUR state or city hire US to call YOU and get your opinions on certain things for them. The computer automatically dials numbers for us and we don't see what's going in. The do not call list does not pertain to us because we are not solicitors. If you ask us to stop calling you, we write a note at the end to not call and then you shouldn't get any after that. You being rude about us and our jobs does nothing for anyone. You have your job to get money, same as us. This is the best some of us can get. Don't know who is calling you? Don't answer,listen if there's a voicemail,etc. Stop being vile to people that are trying to make the best of what they currently have.

All you need to do is ask to speak to a supervisor. The interviewer will put you on hold and get one for you. Simple as that. :)

Better yet.. "This is my business phone" or "I am under 18 and this is my personal line. My parents have another phone". If you say wither of those, you will not be called again for that particular survey. The chances of your number being selected for another survey are minuscule at best..

Or, get over yourself and take a survey. Most of them actually ARE pretty interesting (note... MOST). Ask what the survey is about and the interviewer will tell you.

We call 15 times for BRFSS, and 9 times for every other survey. Also, the latest that we CAN call you is 9:30pm. We stop calling at 9pm.

No, because the DNC list applies only to people SELLING you something. Word of advice... Be polite. Listen to what the person has to say. Then, and only then, say "I am under 18 and my parents have another phone." You will not be called again.

we don't call past 9pm in any time zone, and we aren't even open past midnight. if you're getting calls at 3am, something is wrong.
an yeah, i think i heard one of my supervisors say once that we call up to 20-some times before we stop... i'm not sure about that, though.

no it doesn't. we code it as "this person hung up" and we call back tomorrow. if you really want us to stop calling, just say "this is my work phone" or "this is a business" or something like that. then we'll stop calling.

Sunday April 7, 2013 ... Got 5 calls today, they just hung up.  So much for the do not call list (DNCL), been on the list for years and we still get these pesty type calls.  The DNCL is another government sham to keep the little people thinking our government is looking out for the people.

Can I call you at 3AM and ask you what you think of gay rights? Can I keep calling you if you screen calls, knowing that if you don't answer the first 10 times, chances are you won't ever?

Caller ID said ABT S, as to make you think the electronic store. They didn't leave any message. Now they are going on my block/screen list. Thanks.

April 3, 2013 at 8:52pm rec'd a call from 239-415-4400. Answered the call. No one said anything. Annoyed!!!!!!! Told the silence, my number is on the DNC Registry. Do not call again, or you will be reported. I make a habit of REPORTING (a.k.a. filing a complaint) EVERY unknown phone number. Maybe, if we all did this, DNC Registry will get tired of the complaints and do something about this mess. URGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY SCAMMERS OUT THERE AND WE TRUST NO ONE!  You will never get anyone to answer any questions you have about the IRS, that's for damn sure.  Thank God for Caller ID!  I will never ever answer the phone unless I know EXACTLY who it is and that it's legit.  I suggest you get a different job.

I received a call from this number 239-415-4400 last night and they said they were doing a survey. Said it would only be 5 questions, but after the first one which was a general question about my community, all the other questions were geared towards if I was Jewish, if my mother was Jewish, if I was brought up Jewish etc, even though I told them I was not any religion, they kept starting with Jewish questions. I told them I already said I was not in any religion and why have you not asked if I was any other religion except Jewish. I finally said I am not answering any personal questions and hung up

Just cut the crap, you work for a j*** off company that harasses and annoys people for money.
Many people work hours other than your screwed up call hours, try calling me again, I have asked politely to be removed from your abusive list, YOU ARE NOW ON MY LIST!

Just put them on hold and leave them there. An hour or two each time they call eventually gets the message across.

Calls come in repeatedly... caller doesn't leave a message. Caller ID reads: ABT SPRI. I'm on the National and State No-Call List.
