The caller asked for my mother, I said I was her daughter and they stated they would try again at a later time and abruptly hung up on me. I called the number back and it sounded like the same illiterate person that first called and asked what this was about. He said that she accessed a partner link via their website and that she won $250 in gift cards. I told them she was deceased and that I probably did the internet search on her behalf. I tried to tell them how rude the first caller was and guess what? That's right, he just disconnected the call like the first worthless uneducated POS did.

constant calls, have they not figured out, I do not answer calls that I do not know the number for. But in reality, whose database was stolen with our phone numbers in it.

Constant calls to my number. Please stop the harrassing calls. DNC registry is not helping.

They called me telling me I won a $250 gift card. They talked for like 4 minutes straight and I tried to interrupt to tell him to put me on the do not call list and he just ignored me until the end of his speech. That should be illegal.

Had two calls in less then ten minutes looking for my husband. On second call I told her to leave a message or I would report the number as harrassing. She said my husband signed up with her company on line, Gulf Coast Readers and that he has won 250 dollars worth of free merchandise, sounds like a scam to me.

As someone who works in a call center (Political/market research, not telemarketing) we have a long packet that we change out between other individuals in the call center. about a 3-4 lines of information about the people we call is listed on that sheet per name: Phone numbers, First and Last name, political party, registration year, age, race, gender, candidates and issues you voted for (though the last section is disclosed in code I can't understand, but the computer and my supervisors do.)
It's scary, I don't even know how the information is acquired (Voter registration possibly?) but whoever gathers the information for the call center knows a lot more about you than you'd think.

This number has called me 3 times already and the day is not over yet. I've done some research on the number and it seems like they want to sell a magazine. I have heard different reasons why they started calling, but I have not done any of them. I have not ordered a magazine from them, I have not entered any drawings, and I have not filled out a form to win money. If they call again, they will get an earful.

Started calling me the day after I submitted a request for a diabetic cookbook. I should have known better. I just called the # back and a woman answered saying "Hi Ellie, how are you?" I could hear that it was a call center. Told her to take my # off their list. If it happens again, I WILL contact the state Attorney General's office.

they may be annoying but anyone as ignorant as you making those homo comments should not be allowed to have phone or computer. You usually speak to what you know so I guess that tells us about you. get over your ignorant self & don't subject the rest of us to it. I'd rather deal with collectors or anyone than ignorant people like you. And before you bother making comments, very married & very straight but support love over ignorance any day.

No message left, but as with all these robocalls/telemarketers, they seem to be cold calling. My phone number is not associated or registered with any business or retail other than the Do Not Call Registry , which hasn't not been working as much these days.

The other day I got a little crazy with online sweepstakes (Publisher's Clearing House, more legit things) but definitely remember one not-so-legit survey I filled out (looked legit at first, then realized it was one of those "complete x number of requirements, receive free x" things). I'm assuming that's how they got my number.
They called once this morning, I ignored it. They called back, I answered and they said I received $250 in gift cards for various places. They then asked me a few demographic questions (age, occupation, income) and said my gift cards would come in the mail.
I don't remember putting in my credit card information anywhere because I don't do that ever unless I'm ordering something online, but I'm still concerned they'll find a way to charge me/say I owe money/whatever because it is a magazine scam. I just called back after reading all of this and asked if there was any credit card information on file and the representative said no, and then began to tell me about what "great" magazine deals I qualify for so I said "you know what, keep the gift cards, I am not at all interested in any magazines, and please remove me and all of my information from the list" to which he said yes and immediately hung up.
Anyone else have a similar conversation with them? I'm waiting for a billion more phone calls since everyone is complaining that they keep calling...I'm also waiting for a bunch of their nonsense to come in the mail which is not going to be fun.

Just got a call from them a few minutes ago. She mentioned that "it appears that you have been in good standing with an online retailer" and I was supposed to get prepaid magazine subscriptions. When I asked how to cancel the subscriptions (because I have no intention of having to pay for them ever) she giggled and said, "ummm those are really good questions, but I don't know the answer...this is only my second day on the job."
Looking at how to get on the do not call list now.

I just called this number,
and I actually got to speak to a nice man that explained why I was getting these calls;
My cousin has been using my number for online free samples;
therefore my number is being called at least 4 times a day asking for Hattie (Not me)
I'm going to call my cousin and yell at her.
If you are lucky you will get a nice person to speak with when you call back the number.
I had to call at least twice to find a person who would actually talk and not just hang up when I said my name was not Hattie.
They removed me from there list;
Wooo!
