Just got a call from them but didn't answer. I then googled it and found everyones messages on them. Thanks to all...........

If you want to go through the hassel (or principle) of pressing charges for continuing to bother you once you've asked them to put you on their Do Not Call list, you can win a settlement of anywhere from $400 to $500 from the annoying caller.

I kept getting this number on my phone I.D when I wasn't home, tried to call back but an error message would kick in.  Several time when I was home the call came in and I answered it. It was a recording to cut my interest rate, I pressed the number as instructed to not get the call anymore (not interested), but they kept calling ever so many days.  Finally next time the recording came through I pressed 1 to speak to a person because I "was" interested in reducing my card rate (even though I wasn't interested at all - just wanted to speak to a real person).  Before I could get "please put me on your do not call list" out of my mouth, the guy hung up on me! That happened twice when I pressed 1 to speak to a real person.  The next time instead of asking to put me on the "do not call list", I actually told them I was interested in their plan and let the guy give his entire "speech" and asked him to repeat it because I was sort of confused (plus I don't think English was his first language, and I really couldn't understand all he was saying).  After the 2nd time through he asked me how much all my cards total owing, and as soon as I told him, zero at the moment, "HE HUNG UP ON ME!"  It's a scam, people, it's a scam.

I just started receiving these calls and I'm totally annoyed!  We have only had this number for a month and a half and have been on the Do Not Call list the whole time!  They call all hours of the day all the time!  I asked them several times to take my number off the list and they swear each time they will but they don't.. Oh did I mention my number is unpublished and unlisted????  So guess what I'm going now, uep I'm filing a complaint with the FCC!!  Morans!!!

I just received a voicemail from this number and it left a partial message of lowering interest rate or whatever...then I came here and googled the number, because no one is going to contact you by phone to lower your interest rate.  All of those offers come through either the mail or direct contact with the bank.  I think I will report the # as suggested here.  If nothing else, it certainly is a nuisance.

Rachel just got a report to the FCC cuz I am on the DNC list. I pressed 3 to remove myself from their calls, but I kinda hope they do call back. Then I can tell the police and file a harassment charge against them.

Trying to remove yourself from the call list by pressing 3 does not work- i've tried multiple times, and when i call back to try and speak with someone about it, music plays for a minute or two, as though i'm on hold, and then the call disconnects. when you press 1, you get a person, but they're vague about why their calling(something about lowering your interest rate) and have no clue whether you even have a credit card- when i asked how they got my information, i was told that due to my stellar payment record, my credit card company.bank recommended me for a lowered interest rate... odd, since i've never carried a balance and have a credit card for emergencies only- and due to the fact that i have NO credit history, i am an authorized signer on my mom's account- so it's not even being reported on my credit... 100:1 odds says they're just trying to get you to say your credit card number and expiration date over the phone- and if they can trick you into saying your name/birthday/social... they're gonna be laughing all the way tot the bank. if this was a legitimate service, like a consolidation place, they would know your name, credit information, and likely your social before calling- and they'd especially know if you actually HAD a credit card in your name-DON'T GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION- REPORT THE NUMBER EVERYWHERE YOU CAN- CALL THE ATTORNEY GENERAL IN YOUR STATE/CALL THE POLICE TO REPORT A NUISANCE NUMBER AND HARASSING PHONE CALLS- AND IF THEY'VE CALLED YOU ON A CELL, DEFINITELY REPORT THEM TO YOUR MOBILE CARRIER. people shouldn't be able to abuse phone listings like this- and they certainly shouldn't be able to pray on individuals who don't know any better... like, i don't know, an elderly person with dementia, like my grandfather, whom they also call all the time... i've reported them several times- probably, nothing will come of it, but i'd rather we try to do something than let them harass us and our families. my grandfather was half way through reading his credit card number to them when i took the phone away to check on who it was- thank god i did, but with Alzheimer's as advanced as his, he'd have no memory of them being scammers if they called again tomorrow... and what individual with any debt *wouldn't* want to lower their interest rate- it's just straight up evil.

Haven't been home to actually catch one of these calls coming in.
At least when you call back, the music isn't THAT bad.

Keeps calling but when I answer only Music plays.  Stop harassing me. Scammer.

I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST TOO but since these scammers FORGE and FAKE their caller ID number (and are most likely out of the country) they are LAUGHING in the face of the POWERLESS FTC and FCC.

Do not call list??  What a JOKE!  Once again our worthless Government agencies fail to do anything of value to the people.  But they sure are working hard to take our FREE off-air TV channels so they can turn over the frequencies to big corporations that want to use it for their Cell phones and wireless internet that they can charge us through the nose for!
