This number called me too!!!!! I was hesitant to answer because it was from a 239 area code... thank you soooooo much for letting me know! People need to seriously get a life, or a real job that doesn't scam others. Our society is so sad

thank god i didnt take that stupid call.... i thought it was wierd..... when i recieved this phone call from ft myers.....and i try to call it back from work just too see whom it is and it rings busy or something....some people need to get a life....

Same story... it was just me this time that got the call.

another ACAI BERRY free trial fallout.  The stupids wanted to charge for the free trial if you decided to continue ....at $68/month.  When I canceled, that's when all the calls from different numbers started.  Where are the attorneys general? Fraud with impunity.

wow. i just got off the phone with them. they had my name and address and wanted to sell me a mag. subscription and said that i was entered in a sweeptstakes. thank goodness she didn't ask me my social security number! i dont even use a credit card? now i'm nervous!

These people keep calling me as well. They never say anything just hang up then when I call back it say mail box is full. No wonder. Its probably people like us calling them and telling them where they can stick their phone. It needs to stop.

A guy called me from this number and told me that i was entered to win in a Minnesota 1 Million dollar sweepstake. He Knew my name and confirmed my place of business i he also confirmed what kind of credit cards and other cards that i used and also asked how much money i make a month.. when he knew what kind of cards i had i hung up the phone and cancelled everything i had i was very weiry that he knew just a little too much information about me. I will be getting ahold of the state of Florida sometime this week does anyone have any advice how we can stop these scammers/ Fraud people?

This number calls my cell everyday, no message and when I call it back from my work phone no answer and the VM's a recording that it is full! How anoying... how do we make them stop calling?????

These people have been calling me and hanging up. WTF! I also registered at David's Bridal about 2 weeks ago.  I'm not sure what the deal is but I am personally calling my phone company to see if I can have them blocked or reported. If this keeps up I will be going to the police department and filing harassment charges because I've had enough of these brainless solicitors!

I'm sick of having this number call me just to have some non-existing lottery winning info. Get an actual life you suckers!!!

Person called my phone on Friday and asked for me. When he was told I wasn't there, they hung up. Upon calling back - mailbox full. Go figure- do NOT speak to whoever this is.

I've been getting 1-2 daily calls from this number. I never answer and no message or other information is ever left.

Lady called several times and I finally answered the third time. She knew my name and my address but wanted my age and to know what card I used regularly ie: visa, mastercard, discover. Said I was one of top 5 to win a million dollars from publisher sweepstakes. Call comes from Fort Myers. Like one of the people above I have signed up with David's Bridal and requested free magazines from another wedding company.

Has called various time, first couple of times I picked up but there was no one there. Now I refuse to answer.

They have called me 7 times since March 9, 2009. When I answer it, there is no body there and then it finally disconnects.  The past 2 times, I just have not answered.  I found this number on the internet has many complaints going back to July 2008.

I received this same call on 3-20-09. They went so far as to give their name as Marisa. The went through the detail of the sweepstakes as others have said then transferrred me to a male. He gave hid nsmr also. I wrote it down, but don't have notes handy to give it. Their final pitch to try and get verifying information about my credit card was I would be reqired to pay $ 4.95 a week ( $ 24.00 for month for the 6 magizines and include one of my choice ). They wanted to verify my credit card information in order to bill this $ 24.00. The susequent payments would be made to the credit card in addition to my regular payments. When they asked me to verify the credit card number ( they knew the 1st nymber I explained that I didn't give out that kind of information. Without hesitation they said that's ok I was still entered in the sweepstakes and said good by. They are very smooth and never get ugly or forceful. Not sure just how their victims are selected. My 1st experience 1st hand having a call of this nature although being a retired law enforcement officer I have had situations like these reported to me and other officers who worked for me.

i recently gave my information to davids bridal. They are really bad about selling your information to people. same thing happened to my sister when she went there.
the lady called me 4 times this week and i answered finally. i knew something was up because i've never owned a credit card. she asked me which of the 4 major credit cards treats me the best and i hung up on her.

DO NOT DISCLOSE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION!!!

I just received a call from this number on my cell phone and the person was requesting personal information for me to qualify for this so-called "sweepstake". I immediately got suspicious as she didn't have my correct name.  She claimed I was entered into the sweepstake by a major credit card that I used all the time and wanted to know which one it was. I realized that she was PHISHING for information and told her that I refuse to disclose any personal information...Funny thing...she acted like she was OK with that.  I told her that I was dubious about her call because if I were entered into the sweepstake by "a major credit card that I use all the time", they would not have misspelled my name...they would have entered my name correctly.

refer to that page i got a email from e millionaire saying that i won and this number was the one that called me only after 3 time of going i can't understand you it sounds muffled and it was.   frist one was a 011 then blocked then this one.  witch was the best sounding one of them all.  so this is deffently messed up

I gave my number to David's Bridal and since then I have gotten a million calls like this an  don't answer for numbers that I don'tknow and they never leave messages so I assume that it's not important! It seems that once you give your information to David's Bridal, they give(or sell) it to all kinds of telemarketers!

I answered once and didn't get an answer. I didn't think anything about it until after school today I looked at my phone. I had a missed call from the same number. So I'm thinking that something is not right and decided to see if I could figure out who owns the dad-blasted phone that someone seems to use to prank. It irritates me so bad because 239 is Florida and nobody I know lives there. I have had no dealings what so ever with David's Bridal.

Call came up on  my caller ID.  Found this website and called it back.  Got an automated system and hit "2" for purpoase of the case which was for a magazine updating service.  Main menu had "3" to remove from the list and said it would take 2 business days to be removed.

im having this same problem and never even connected it to david's bridal untill i read this forum but i bought my wedding dress there over a year ago and have been gettin call after call from this number for weeks now!

Just rang and rang. Didn't go to voice mail. Will block it.

Just the number... no one answers when I call back... and no one says anything when I have answered.

I just called the number and talked to a person that identified her name as Ashley. She stated that this number is for a marketing firm for sweepstakes. I told her I wanted the calls to stop she said that she would take my number out of thies data base and that the call will stop as of today Thursday, April 2, 2009

THIS NUMBER HAS BEEN CALLING ME AND NOT LEAVING MESSAGES. I ANSWERED THE CALL TWICE AND NOONE SAID ANYTHING.
