I got the same type message except it was txtchick784. First one said Hey Jo. Next one said "Sry! Mi Phone's about to die:( . Then I got ad me on Y! msg txtchick784. Not sure what they can get out of this but it is still weird!

I got a text from this number I texted back who is this and was told to add

On yahoo messenger after that there were no more responses

At 4:26pm PST on Nov. 14th, I received a text message "Hi Erik!!" from 239-791-4840. I responded with the message "Hi - who is this?"
There have been no responses since. Given the amount of similar/identical texts, I suspect this is either building a harvest list of 'live' responses OR a failed attempt at cold-texting for some marketing purpose.

I got "Hola Julia...." tonight at 5:21p in Oregon. I didn't respond to the text because I didn't recognize the number.
