They started calling me about 3 weeks ago and in the beginning I was actually speaking with someone who I've told already 4 time to not call anymore. Now I get no answer calls from this number. Very annoying. Plus they call from different numbers so I never know exactly whose calling. I just block there numbers now once I figure out its them. Btw it is the educational services company.

I've been getting spammed with calls with this number recently. I just let it go through voicemail and each time there is no response. Although the last time they called like 10 minutes ago, there was about 5 seconds of pause with lots of background noise of people. Who knows.
Best thing to do is to just blacklist this number from your phone or phone company.

you got a payday advance and you didnt pay it back so everytime they ask for you and someone tells them your not or your really not there and dont answer it so they try calling you from a legitimate collection agency # that you know that way you know its them calling, but this #'s everyones talking about is a UTIMATED MACHINE THAT REDUIALS YOU AND THEY CAN MAKE UR CALLER ID READ ANY NUMBER EVEN YOUR OWN BELIEVE IT OR NOT THEY DO IT TO SEE IF YOU'RE AT LEAST MAKING AN ATTEMPT TO PAY OR MAKE ARRAGNEMENTS TO. but with this they can figure out if you dodging them so they end up selling your account to a collection agency

Are these guys part of the 1000$ Gift Card Scam?
Will 2012-12-04 00:46:00 Unknown
I am not sure you can take legal American Action against them because they are all Dominican and are in "South Florida" (Dominican Republic). I haven't gotten two of them to say they're in the same city in florida

Got some woman who I could barely understand...wanting to know what program I wanted to study. I told her I had already informed someone that I was NOT interested, and not to call again. She started some spiel, but I hung up.

Called again today...didn't answer...guess the PSC and FTC will be getting notes from me...
Jimmy 2012-11-29 21:41:28 Unknown
Did not answer since it did not have valid caller ID; from scrolling through ID appears this is the first call from that number...other commenters say it's from a college or something like that...I don't need/want whatever it is you're selling. Leave Me alone!!!

Answering them won't stop them from calling you. They are part of the filthy credit card scam group that can't stop themselves from throwing up.

This number is for college/college Time online so you can answered if you want to be bothered by them

A bunch of scammers claiming to be an Education Service. No matter how hard they try, they just can't get rid of their stupid Card Service that got brainwashed into their sorry heads.
Will 2012-11-14 01:25:38 Unknown
You need to harass them back. They harassed me so I fought back. I got all my friends to prank call them through out the day. You can request specific people if you really want to be annoying. I have gotten to the pointe where they don't call me anymore. But I'm not stopping now, I want these scammers to go out of business! Fight back! Then call annonymously when they stop answering your calls by putting *67

3 times now I've received bogus calls from this #. "You filled out an application for continuing education" "No I didn't, stop calling!"
Sandi Strickland 2012-11-08 23:29:22 Unknown
I am unsure who this person is. They call several times a day and do not leave a message. I try and call them back and they hang up on you.

They called me, six times, and they were, I wanna say 20 minutes apart from eachother roughly. I told them Joanna Pacheako and Charissa Mazari both don't live at this number, as they keep asking for these two. They keep calling. I outright yell at the guy calling, and he gets an attitude with me and STAYS on the phone JUST to tell me off until -I- hang up. First two were sweepstakes. Second two were Florida saying I signed up and showed interest in going back to school. Third two were Florida telling me I asked about diabetic medicine. It's not just this number. They slightly change throughout the calling history on my phone, but you can tell it's them. I'm pissed, mostly because these a***oles call MY house, SPAM MY house, and then cop an attitude when it pisses me off! >:O

I think i will answer their call and tell them I work for the FBI. This may stop them from calling.

These folks are calling my 14-year old's cell phone. Any updated advice on what to do, other than asking them to remove us from their call list?

October 8, 2012 at 10:20 AM. The number (239) 935-5830 just called me too. I answered with "hello" a couple times and then when nobody spoke to me I said "speak now or forever hold your peace". I don't know if they will call back or not seeing as this is the first call I have received from them so far. I just entered the phone number on my search engine to hopefully find out where the number was calling from and I found all of your testimonies about the scammers. I, too, hope these idiots are caught and wish everybody good luck in their efforts in doing so.

I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice, just my experience.
I too was called by this number.
To identify an unidentified telemarketer you need to get to their client, who is equally responsible for the intruding call. The telemarketer won't give you any info -- it's counter to their mission.
In this case, identify the education provider they are pitching -- ultimately their job is to link you up with an "opportunity." That is how they get paid...delivering a qualified lead.
With the identified client "college" in hand, along with your phone records or other evidence,
write the "college" and state your case. If not resolved, go to small claims court.
FCC, FTC complaints, requests to be removed from their list yield nothing.
Good luck!

I received a phone call from 239-935-5830 today and they claimed to have gotten my information from an inquiry I made about going back to school on line and I never did any such thing. The more I questioned "David" the more nervous he got and when I asked for a supervisor he put e on hold for a few minutes and came back telling me that it would be "IMPOSSIBLE" for me to speak to a supervisor since they are so very busy on Saturdays. At that point I called his bluff about being a legit "Educational Services" company and he started get very upset and not allowing me to get a word in edgewise. He did however tell me I could call the number 24 hours a day and reach a supervisor that would be more then happy to answer any questions I have. At that point I warned him that I would be reporting the company to the BBB and whoever else I needed to. Of course, I tried calling back and I got a very unprofessional "Yeah, Hello" and then hung up on so I kept calling back and repeatedly got hung up on without so much as a hello.

Calls about 5 times a day. Sometimes I get a person calling about some college finder for someone who is not even on this business phone. Other times there's no one there. Not interested, and very annoyed.

This number would call me several times a day. I would pick up and there would be no one there. Finally I picked up, said hello and waited for about 30 seconds and a man got on the line. It is a group to discuss higher education opportunities. The man asked if I had a high school diploma or GED. I told him that I was an attorney. He asked if I was interested in further education. I said I think I have gone far enough. He thanked me. I said please stop calling me. He said he will put me on the "Do Not Call List." And that was the last I have heard from them.
