Several calls from them, but never a message. This afternoon I picked up and, as before it also happened, nobody spoke at the other end, even though I "hello-ed" several times. "Fraternal Order of Police"? Are they really so shy that they can't utter a word? Something is fishy here and I don't like the smell.

1-240-206-6109 Caller Id was showing "out of area".   He left a message, claiming to be an officer from IRS.  He told that there is a case filed against me and wants me to call him back as soon as possible.  His accent is an east indian accent.  Repeats everything
twice.  Reading from a note.  Fraud.  I use to get these kind of calls from Dallas Texas.  Once I yelled at him longtime back and they stop calling.
IRS never calls on weekends or late nights.  Plus I don't owe anything because I didn't work for the last 10 years.  This
is a scam preying on senior citizens.  If IRS wants to write to me, they know my address.  
Don't even answer this number.

Did you know that the FOP only receive 15% of these donations -- the solicitors keep 85%!

What a rip-off.  I stopped donating years ago.

Got a call from this particualr number today around 6:30 P.M. and CID showed Unavailable.
After reading several post indicating it's from the "Frateranl Order of Police" posses an interesting question.............. Why would such an organization like the F.O.P.  be hiding the name of there organization when making phone calls asking for donations?
Since my CID showed Unavailable, I didn't bother to answer since I don't answer calls from phone numbers I don't reconize, especially when my CID shows Unavailable.

caller I.D said, Glen Dale Maryland and when I googled the number another site said it was the fraternal order of police. But really...REALLY at 7:20 on a Sunday night. I think not.

Call was at 8:14 pm. Caller I'd said Glenn Dale MD. No message.

Got call.  Said he was from Fraternal Order of Police.  Wanted a donation to help families of fallen officers.  Called back to tell him not to call or will call police.

Received call at 12:06PM 3-30-14.  No one on other end.  Called back and a maile identified himself as Fraternal Order of Police.  We asked not to be called again and he said he would place us on DNC list.  We'll see...

I got this person's call today.  I didn't answer because -- my caller ID was showing "out of area".  No message left by the caller.

Left no msg. CID: Unknown Name  or O
