I got a call from this number and picked up.....but no one responds....

I tried to call back....the phone rings twice then somebody picks up and again hangs up....


whats going on???

I got a call from this 240-210-7074 too and went to a recorded message. Looks like a telemarketer

I just received my cell phone for Christmas yesterday.  Today I got a call from this number.  It was a creepy Indian guy asking if I have "international calls". I don't think he knew much English, because I would say, "Yes" and he would keep asking me. Eventually he got the picture, said, "Sorry, Ma'am" (I am a boy), and hung up.

received call at 8pm didn't answer no voicemail called back but blocked number recording saying the your  number blank cause i blocked number press 1 to move number press 2 to enter number  i hung up.

Called at 10pm, stupids, no message left.

Got a call from this number and when I answered it was all in Spanish so I hung up. WTF.

I hope they have a good warranty for my horse carriage. I'd gladly give them model of my horse.

i got a call with this # also tonight but no voice mail called it back was some one from another country asking me if i would like to move my # hung up lol

Added to my phone book in my cell at set ringer type to none.  No more issues with telemarketers.

(240) 210-7074 when I call back I block my number using *67 and I get a recording.....if your number is (in my case nothingbecause of the block) press 1 to remove now.  Sounds like a call center in India.  I've gotten car warranty calls before.  I wonder if its the car dealers or the state DMV selling our numbers.

Each time they have called, a live person comes on the line and says to wait for an announcement.  When I try to tell them my car was in an accident and we no longer have a car, she will not listen.  She just keeps interrupting and saying "we have been trying to get a hold of you, please wait."  I have tried to tell them many times not to call back, that we no longer have a call; but, she will not listen and she keeps calling back.

They keep calling me and want to know the make and model of my vehicle.
I said yes could I have  the name of the company please.
They said forcefully,GIVE ME THE MAKE AND MODEL OF YOUR VEHICLE!
I said I need the name of the company first.
Then they told me,"Shut up,shut up"(!)
This is getting scary.I am reporting to the FCC.
This call seems to be from Maryland,just outside of Washington D.C.
Is this the government? Very Scary.

Same as furnaceman.... They wanted to extend my auto warranty. All B.S. I've gotten a lot of calls from similar companies. Today, they called at work.

This number is apparently a cell phone registered in Maryland. It's nice that we can report this stuff, but how do we shut these criminals down?

I got a call from the number 1-240-210-7074  at 8:49 pm CST.When i called back to this number it rings like one or two times and says your call cannot be completed as dialed ,please check the number and dial again.
