who call me

I've had a call from this number twice.  Both times the person was hispanic and asked for Senora (insert my last name)  As I'm an English speaking American married to a latino male, I guess they are "assuming" that I speak spanish also.  As soon as I tell this person that I do not speak spanish, they tell me sorry wrong number and they hang up.  My caller ID shows this number as "Waldorf MD" and then the number 240-412-2090.  Even though they've only called twice, it's still annoying and I'd love to know what they want.  Also we are on the do not call list and paid extra for our number not to be listed.

I have called repeatedly from this number every day and I'm really tired and wanted to know who it is.

This caller calls me 2 or 3 times a day and doesn't leave a message. It is a Maryland #. It could be the March of Dimes since they use these cell numbers at times.  I do not pick up unless I know who is calling.

I received a harrassing call from this number. The man spoke Spanish (I also speak Spanish). At the beginning he sounded ok, but when I told him that I was already donating money to another FOP and that I did not have time for the call, he turned agresive and sounded almost threatening "when there is a will there is a mean", he said in Spanish.

It was a fundraiser calling on behalf of the Maryland Fraternal Order of Police.  I asked the caller if my donation would be tax-deductible and he said "no."  He said that if I wanted more information abot the tax status, I was welcomed to call 888-636-5456.

I've been getting calls from this number up to 4 times a day!!  I don't answer because I don't know the number - but I'm assuming it's a telemarketer or fundraiser of some kind.  Very annoying because they call LATE and EARLY in the morning - no times are off limits for this number.  I'm on the Do NOT Call list but it comes through - as long as the number can come up on Caller-ID with an ID - it will get pass the Do Not Call.  Ticks me off - they could put Joe Blow as the ID on their number and it's gonna get pass the do not call list.

I've also been getting a call from a 1-866 number on my cell phone constantly - no message, just calling ALL the time.  I'm ready to chuck both land-line and cell phone!

They somehow got a hold of my cell phone and house phone and keep calling me telling me I owe money to some flower shop that has my info on file. The supposed shop is two hours away from me and I've never heard of them. Although when I spoke to a woman (named Shannon) she let me know she's calling on their behalf and would remove my number. But they keep calling my house though.

I get this phone calling me up to 5x a day. Always rude if we happen to answer, but will never leave a message. I am recovering from surgery & definitely DO NOT NEED to be woken up by these phone calls!!

Clever jerk.  He called asking for the name of someone who hadn't paid their bills, you know, three years ago.  Then once he realized he had an old number (really? do people who don't pay their bills pay their phone bill?), switched to the fraternal order of the police scam.

They called me at 8am while I was sleep. These people have no respect for you, they just want  your money.

I've gotten calls from this number also.  They say something I can't understand and then hang up. My answering machine answers, not me.  I don't answer when it isn't a number I recognize.  I was just curious to see who was calling since for me it is a local number (240).

I answered the phone and the person hung up.  I called back and a guy answered saying he was with the Fraternal of Police.  He also tried to get a donation out of me, but I declined and told him that I was just curious on who tried to call the home phone.

I suspect Oscar Ramirez took out a loan that he did not intend to pay.  He invented a phone number to put on the loan application.  That number happened to be yours.  Good luck getting rid of the caller.

Similar happened to me.  My deabeat was named Michael.

My husband and I have received two calls from this same telephone number today.
The first time, a man called at 3:27pm, the 2nd time a woman called at 5:21pm.
The man asked for Oscar Ramirez.
The woman asked for Mrs. Ramirez.
I told both of them, that no one by the name of Ramirez had this telephone number, and to take it off their list.
Apparently, both of them don't listen or don't care - because they keep calling our number.
We have had this telephone number for almost 5 years, and our last name is definitely not Ramirez.
