I answered the call, they ask fo me by my first name.
When I ask who they were and what they wanted, they just
continued to want to know my name

I've been recieving calls from the 240 number the past couple of days. I took a quiz on facebook that asked for my number (stupid) just before they began. I was wondering if that connection is there for anyone else or if it's coincidence???

I talked to a guy calling from this number. He started out calling me Leo or some wrong name. Then I said it's not my name. He then went on and said I was selected to win in some sweepstake owning a Mastercard, Visa or American express. The sound was quite poor.
He asked me my real name and i asked him what his company name was. It then went silent for a few seconds and he hung up.

This is definitely a scam and possibly the road to losing money in some way!

I did too. I have no idea who these are.

caller Said I may win $25,000.00 and asked if I had a major credit card, then hung up

I'm getting the same thing from the 240 number does anyone know what's going on.

I've been dealing with the same issue from the 240 number. I tried calling back, same response - I'm going to just block the number.

Recieved a call from this number 3 times today. When I answer there is no one on the line. When I call the number back it says "the person you have called is unavailable... please try again later."

I got call from the same number twice.. today
First time.. no one is on the line.
and second time.. i heard a female voice.. since i was not able to hear clearly i kept the phone saying " Its a wrong number"

Same! They've called three times and when I pick up no one responds! What is this?!

Ok guys, one of my friends is going through the same thing, but with the 937 number. Here is a thought. You should talk to your local PD, as they may be able to assist you with this. One time I had someone saying they were for Regent Asset Management Solutions, and I got a letter threatening to prosecute.. It was a scam like this, from what it sounds like. All I can say is if you get a letter in the mail or continue to get calls from them.. Call the police. Save your messages from them, and blast the heck out of them for phone harassment! Sounds to me like they need a lawsuit.

Same as everyone else, a little scary, I don't give out my number to anyone!??

I also got a call fm this # 3 times today and when I answered they jus hung up..I called and it disconnected me..

called it tback it said the person wasn't on the line...then it went to spanish...

this number called early this morning, so i answered and they just hung up. i called back and also got the message saying "the person you are calling is unavailable, please try again later." i text the number to ask who  was calling, no response. They just called back but i can't answer because i am at work..

i received a call from this number this morning, couldn't answer at the moment, but called back within 5 minutes and got the message that "the person you are trying to reach is not available, try again later." several hours later, i received the call again, answered it, and no one replied - they hung up within 8 seconds.

This number called me at 11:58 and i missed it they left no voice mail and when i called it back it wouldn't connect.

I just got a call from this number too and had 4 calls from 937-430-9129 yesterday.  I didn't answer the calls, no message was left either.

got a call from this # I answered no-one there I then blocked my # and called back - got a msg "the person you are trying to reach is not available...try again later".

Ive been receiving calls from this number for the past cpl of days and when i do answer no one is there/ I did call back once and it said the same thing as above.

i also got a call from this number and didnt get to answer it in time. when i called it back it rang and rang and said the person your calling cant answer at the moment... call back later. I dont understand it...it was a call to my cell phone.

i got a call from this number at 12 pm and did not get to pick up but called it back and no one answered? did anyone else call this number back and what the hell is it!

i put the number in google from yesterday and it came back with a cleveland ohio number

this also happened to me but that number yesterday called me 4 times and now i just recieved a call from this number

I received a call from this number today, and from 937-430-9129 twice yesterday.  Both were the same -- no one on the line, no message left.
