I got the same text from Jason Walther sure enough they offer a computer, fax, printer, phone. I kept talking to the guy the only thing is that the guy would not give a straight answer from were he was calling he had a number from georgia cause I have family there. I knew it was to good to be true who  is going to give you money without even meet you.
The number he used 770-666-0472. its got tobe a money laundering scam. I dont know what they do when you expend the money. I had the interview and offer 20/hr. with 15/hr training it was suprising he said you are hired when i made so many mistakes typing.

They are still at it. I received the exact same situations as everyone else, once he stated go to intstant messenger for a interview with for an email totally different from the name he gave me I knew something was up, I instantly googled the number and found this page so I just stopped replying.I didnt even get a company name. They need to be stopped!

got a text in regard to the same job first solar answer question but they still wont give me more than what i asked for

I received the same thing.  I let them send me the check.  I kept getting messages asking if I had received the check and when will I be going to the bank.  I ripped it up. I sent them an IM stating the bank took the check and they were investigating because this was a scam. I haven't heard from them again.  

They very nearly got me.  I'm a newly unemployed veteran and unfamiliar with employment scams.  If you come across this number, disregard immediately!  If at all possible bash their face in with a rock!

I was sent a blind text stating that "The Head of the Department" chose my resume and I had been selected for an online interview with Jason Walther.   I never spoke to anyone in person but I redialed the number that showed up on my phone and it went straight to voice mail.  It gave a different name (Jennifer Cisnaris) instead of the name in the text (Jason Walther).  I tracked the number to be located in Bethesda, MD. Clearly this is a money laundering scam.  

I got a text this morning saying " Hello (my full name).... I am Mr. Kevin. and that was it I suppose he was waiting for my response. I asked who are you and I got a long text that said " The head of dept has reviewed your resume and you have been selected for a online interview with me for the post of Administrative Assistant" I replied "What is your company name?" He replied " The name of the company is First Solar, we deal with solar energy. YOU NEED TO COME ONLINE ASAP!!! FOR YOUR JOB BRIEFING AND INTERVIEW", he then said hit me up on yahoo messenger add me kevin.davidson60@yahoo.com, provide me with your yahoo ID quickly!. I then responded with " First off you are very unprofessional, what company texts you for a position, from a weird number BIG RED FLAG! I said why don't you call me? I got no response... I didn't add this guy I googled the company and googled the number and found this site. I never fall for things like this I have more common sense than that but I just wanted to report these people they are obviously trying to scam people for money or identity, if y'all have added these people DELETE them or BLOCK them they can easily get your profile info to STEAL your Identity. They need to be stopped ASAP!

I also received a text from Mr. Gilbert and looked it up on-line. At first he sent a text saying 'hellow (my full name)...I'm Mr. Gilbert'. I asked him who he was and how he got my no and he replied ' The Head of Dept has just reviewed your resume and you have been selected for an online interview with me'. Knowing from the comments above that it's a scam, I send back a text asking for the company's full name and address and his full name. Never heard from him again. Thank you all for the warning.

The person said their name was Mr. Gilbert. We set up an instant messenger interview. They were offering me a job.They said they worked for the First Solar company. They said they would front the money so I could buy a brand new computer, fax, phone, office supply, etc. They were going to send me a money order, I was to deposit it in my account, and fax them my receipt. They already had my information from my resume from Craigslist and I agreed. Once I realized it was a scam, I ignored all the texts. However, they sent me a check for $1,950.85. I don't see how any company would trust someone enough to send all that money without meeting you, but I believe it's a scam. If you do go through that whole process, don't deposit the money.
