have been getting calls from this number in the last two days --over 7 of them.  Never anyone on other end.  Found out it is a cell phone number owned by Verizon.. If they continue, I'm going to call Verizon and report them.  It does sound like a telemarketing room, as I can hear people talking in the backround.

Man said he was from AT&T and wanted to send me a free Blackberry.  Kept repeating "no worries".  Then he said they wanted to offer an "add on" service.  I told him we did not want this.  I always end these kind of calls with a polite request to "remove our number from your calling list".

They called me with a woman pretending to have a British accent asking if myself or anyone else in my family has Diabetes.

They are phony liars.

Someone has been calling from this number every day for the past week or so - usually at night. I don't know who it is, but if I keep getting calls from this number I will report them to the authorities. Enough is enough!

Called 11:17 am 05/12/2010.  Waited 6 or 7 rings.  Picked-up phone and heard, "You have been dropped from this conference".  Huh?

My number is registerd on the "Do Not Call Registry" and is illegal for any telemarketer to call me!

I usually get bill collectors but would not be surprised if spoofed number. They do not leave message on answering machine and stay silent for about 10 seconds. Four or more calls in may 2010 so far.

Caller ID says out of state here in Florida.

I got calls from this number. They never leave a message on the machine. Once when I picked up there was silence followed by a hang-up. The last time they called they mentioned some bs about someone in my household filling out a form stating they had sleep apnea or diabetes. No one has filled out such a form. I told the lady that I was not at liberty to discuss medical records and would not do so on the phone. I told her politely. Nonetheless she hung up on me. This is creepy. I thought medical records were private. I am going to look into this and see if this is legal.

Recieved a call from this number today. Didn't recognize it but answered anyway. I heard voices like telemarketers for a few seconds then the call ended. I too am on the DO NOT CALL list. One more call and this number gets reported.

I got call from this number, my caller Id showed as Bethesda. I hung up because caller wanted to talk to someone else. I said it was wrong number then he (or she wasnt sure if male or female) wanted to sell some item. He called again and said why did I hang up. He said I did not know who he was. He threatened me saying he knew where I live.

I keep getting calls from this number 240-507-1192 daily at all hours.  Caller ID shows Bethesda.
I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST.  I don't answer the phone because I don't know who this number belongs to but they never leave a message.

I didn't start getting calls from this number until I got on the no-call list, so they might be using the no-call list as one source for numbers.  Since then I've gotten 14 calls in less than a month, but I've got the number blocked so it doesn't ring.  I only see it as a missed call.  I'm going to submit a complaint on that number, but if they're coming from outside the US it might not help.  Since I've been on the no-call list, and after the 31 day waiting period, I've complained about several numbers which called me (one even sent a text message).  The number of marketing or whatever calls has decreased. The best way to stop telemarketing calls is probably to make complaints.  The government fines companies a lot of money for making these calls.

Got three calls from this number. Wanted to speak to my last hubby who has been dead for 17 years. Said someone in the household was diabetic..I said they were mistaken and I was on the no call list and was going to report them. No more calls since.

calls all hours of day or night as if paid to annoy people.  Am sure they are SCAMMERS. I am going to report it to "Do not call" with hope it stops before I change my phone number or quit my phone company. I have NO tolernce for this kind of phone abuse.

Why bother calling if you aren't going to talk when we answer the phone? That is just plain rude and wastes their time and mine!  Usually it is 2 rings and they hang up.  I am ready to tell them to go to H----!

Iam and a woman named Nikki Dayne from Garden  City n.y. is a call tree hired to harrass people.Her last address was 1268 Adee Ave Jamaica N.Y> they have a whole call ring that takes turn harrassing you. Her  LAST JOB WAS at&t TECH. rEPORT HER SHE IS A MENISE
