I don't answer calls rec'd on my cell unless I recognize the number.........don't have a clue who this is but no message was left.

Called my cell and did not leave a message. I do not know anyone in Maryland, if that's in fact where they are calling from.

They keep on calling me. Please put them on my do not call list. Thank you. I did not pick up because I did not recognize the area code and there was no name when calling either.

On 10-14-13, I got this call #240-538-4399, caller ID said Equatorial Guinea.

Of course, I never answer unless I know the number of name.  

I can only imagine what this was about. But I am sure it is bogus.

Called offering fake goods/services.  Offered to teach CPR and certify me for $50

I've received at least 12 of these calls.  I don't answer because I don't know anyone in that area code.  All these calls are at approximately 7:30 pm.  I'm also on the Do Not Call list, but that doesn't seem to help.  I will file a complaint on the fcc website.

I got this call twice, finally I called back that told me it was a telemarketer trying to reach me and they weren't available at this time and to F....myself, yes that's what the message said~ needless to say this company needs to be taken down for their practices who ever they are

I received 2 calls on oct 6. I called back recently to have my number removed and got the same vulgar message.  I  filed a complaint on the National Do Not Call Registry.  My cell has been getting hit with a lot of telemarketing calls lately.  Everyone should file complaints when they get calls... It only takes a couple minutes!

Just now called me, however, since I didn't recognize the number, I waited for the answering machine to kick in...they hung up before it activated.
     Saw a couple of things on the forums regarding these callers and am using them myself to help ease the nuisance factor, however, won't totally stop the calls. Hopefully these procedures may work for all of you.
     For the land line, see if you can run a block on your phone line for numbers you place into it. These numbers would of course be the "scammers" whom you do not want hear.
      On my phone system I have two options one for "ANONONYMOUS CALLERS": (no phone number OR name shown) scammers, blocked, private, I block them by using *77 on my phone - it will give you directions on how to continue. If it is someone who is legitimate they will leave a message on my voice mail.
     The other option is phone numbers that show on your CALL SCREEN and you recognize them as scammers (or look up the numbers on forums like this one to see if they are): to block, I dial *60 and follow cues.
     When I have a new number that rings through then I drop one of the earlier numbers and replace it with the newest, like this one ( system only accepts approx. 10 at a time).
     Now the cell phone: place the nuisance phone number into your Save Contact directory>new contact>work>scroll to phone number and save. Now go to the phone number>options>contact details>default ringer>change>and choose "NO RINGER". Now when they call, I'm not disturbed because I don't hear it.
      Granted, it may not stop these calls being made, however I'm no longer interrupted and frustrated by them. Also I noticed the old numbers I exchanged with the new numbers are rarely in my future calls, they seem to have dropped off the radar.
     Hope this helps take away some of the frustrations

GOOD IDEA I found after receiving too many of these in the last few years ............ save the number to zzzDNA, ring tone to no ring. DNR meaning "do not answer", using "zzz" leasving this information at the end of my contact list and not cluttering up my contact for doctors!! Next time they call you will not know about it until you get the missed call beep!!

I received a call last evening but did'nt see it until this morning.  I called the number back and got the nastiest message that ended in telling me to "f... yourself".
Is there anyone this can be reported to  for the vulgarity?

Live person on the line, a woman who asked about home remodeling.  Ace or something?  I asked her to please put me on their DNC list (as I am on the useless national do-not-care list) or if they called back I would scream obscenities at them.  That works pretty well.

Received at call on my cell phone on 10/9/13 at 8:03 pm on my cell phone. Number is listed in MD, USA. When I answered, got a pre-recorded message saying "congratulations". Hung up as fast as I could, so didn't hear the rest.
