called at 5:58 pm - a man spoke spanish and there was recorded applause.

Missed call 11:45 am Central time on September 3rd.

I got a call from this number on 09/03 and no message was left, when I called it back I was also greeted with a prerecorded male voice which said this was a travel related call and to press "1" if I wished to be removed from the list, after doing such the recording asked me to enter my credit card number (Still a recording).

For anyone who would actually thing of giving them this information: avoid this number at all costs!

i got one too a couple days ago from the 240 area code. my curiosity got the best of me so i googled it this was the first site that popped up i'm pretty glad i didn't answer the phone sounds like trouble.

my husband and I both received a call from this number on our cell phones. neither of us answered simply because we did not recognize the area code. i am glad i read all of these posts

yeah and I googled this number just as some of you have. I didn't pick up that phonecall anyway... I don't think pressing 1 is a good idea, unless you really know what's going on. tell me if i'm wrong.

I had the same phone call on the 3rd of Sept 2008, at 14:57, that's 2:57pm. weird, cuz they called with just two rings. I saw the number and didn't pick it up anyway since it was an unknown number. It's the same number 2405656900 on my cell. good thing I hadn't picked up.

Same story, british voice recording. he souded like a game show host.

I just got a call from this number and it didn't leave a message.  Called it back and it says that if you press 1 it will remove you from their database.  Hope it works.

Got a call to my 972 area code cell phone about an hour ago. Didn't answer because I didn't recognize it, glad I didn't...

i receieved a call too around 5 minutes ago, although i didn't answer. I called back and it's a pre recorded message to enter (1) if you wish not to receive calls from that number.

I have an 845-671-XXXX number, and I received a call from this number yesterday.  I didn't answer, and I am glad I didn't.

i also have an 845 number and got a call from this number today at 6:25pm on my cell. i was still at work, though and didnt answer. they left no message which is how/why i googled the number and found this message board.

I got a call from this number on a brand new cell phone, per the rep who assigned me the number it hadnt been active for over a year and I only had it one week when I got the call and only 3 people have my number, I didnt answer - no message left

I got the same call but it was the British or Aussie guy asking to push 1.  Seems the brits are still upset about the loss....or it could have been an Aussie, either way that's just a brit with a criminal record. It was from the 240-565-6900

I received one as well to my cell phone number beginning with area code 845.  It came in at 8:49 pm from 240.565.6900.

Got the same call everybody else here is describing. I heard the spanish recording and I just hung up.

just received a call from them too. I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message. it's 8:30PM eastern time.  I am an 845 phone number too.  845-235-XXXX.

Just got a call from this number to the 845 area code.  Are they using a random dialer?

They spam us here at work. You hear a loud "XXXXXXSSSSS" sound and then it's a Spanish recording

Thank you all for the info.  I had recieved the same call from 1-240-565-6900.  Who puts the numeral 1 in front of the area code?  Must be a new 900# version.

Recording in spanish saying that my number has een selected and won 1,000 to press 1 and stay on the line, I thought I'd have fun with them pressed one but was disconected, Bah I was so boared at the time.

I got a call from this number and it spoke spanish to me like BLAHBLAHBLAH sssshhhhkkkkssss (static noises) BLAHBLAHMORESPANISH.
