Well sounds like these people are earn lots of money from the hard working tax people, who unfortunately fall for these professional scam merchants. I advertised a Canon camera on Gumtree and was contacted from 'James' who asked me to reply to: jeanjoy2003@gmail.com telephone number 61428465117 another number I made note of 447024046861 begging me to open a Paypal account, send these details and bank details and they then wanted me to send camera abroad. But of course I wasnt born yesterday, and informed them to give me cash in hand for my camera or no deal, I then got told what are you playing at just open an account and take advert off Gumtree. I dont like being told what to do, so stopped replying to them.
The only advice I can offer is, I have advertised many items on Ebay and payment received through Paypal, and had no problems what so ever, Gumtree is a good site to sell your unwanted items as there are no fees to pay, however only sell to local people who turn up and put cash in your hands,

My brother just put his motorbike on eBay and had a reply from a John Gringe. Same story as everyone elses. What intrigues me is the Tiffany Matthews address is actually a Tiffany & Co address. She also cannot be found as a Western Union agent.

Thankfully I discovered it was a scam, my brother wouldn't have been that wise.

Ive had exactly the same emails, sent him an invoice through papal so he could send me £1550 for a car.. Soon realised it was dodgy then cancelled the invoice! France Williams can email me 100 times a day, i WILL NOT be sending £350 to western union for the pick up of the car he was buyin as a surprise gift for his son!! SURPRISE u have been found out haha!! Try rip someone else off its not workin with me.

My fiance and I were almost scammed by France Williams and Tiffany Matthews when we googled the name and found this site!  Thank god for sites like this one.  here is his message or at least one of many.  I hope that this pair are caught and put in a horrible prison for a long time!!!

I have received several emails from this person. All with similar (had a problem with my pickup agent) crap. I sent the fake PayPal confirmation email to PayPal. Today I received an email with a western Australia police heading and logo but it had the same dodgy English as all the others. I would love to bring this person down. He seems to have ripped of a lot of unsuspecting people.

Been interacting with France Williams with regards to a car my brother in law was selling, needless to say I spotted the scam from step one and he has contacted me threatening to contact the police (ironic since he has none of my details, and he is the one who would get arrested for fraud).

Would love to meet him and kick his teeth down his throat, people like this are the lowest of the low, scamming people out of hard earned money.

Been scammed off France Williams, as other reports thought i had sold my pick up on ebay - was too good to be true agreed to pay £1000 more than ebay price, but was conned into sending £400 for transporter, then he tried to get a further £600 for insurance, then i found your page, He is a scamming, b*****d, goes under the name of JOHN FREIZE, FRANCE WILLIAM & BI*** TIFFANY MATTHEWS. Love to meet him personally. Going to try and contact police in Florence USA, its worth a go for piece of mind.

He tried this on us today. I did a quick check anbd discovered this page plus if you Google his location and name you get a relocatable home in a forest in South Carolina.

This is just one of 5 emails he sent to us.

Thought I'd sold an EPOS system. Told that money had been transferred to PayPal, which I should have checked & did'nt.. It had not been transferred. The 'sale' was to a France Williams and pick up/collection through Tiffany Matthews [same person I suspect]. Told I had to pay £250 Sterling collection plus additional £550 GB sterling for insurance via Western Union & monies would be released once the Western Union MTCN nos had been transferred. All this was done - I'm now £800 sterling lighter, Tiffany Matthews/France Williams, the thieving b*****ds are that much richer. At least I still have the EPOS system
